Anyone have an opinion on how Forkner will do in the pros? I don't think he has very good technique on the bike which could hurt him when the tracks get rough. I personally think it might take him a couple years before he is consistently up front. Any thoughts?
Difficult to say Cole. I wrote to them personally and invited his dad Mike and Austin to a couple of races here in Colorado. At our best track. That first year, 2013, they went to Minnesota instead. I saw where there was room for improvement. I never dumped a heap of praise on him and stroked his ego. Sure, I would have liked to have helped him a little (or even a lot) but they never even told me that they were coming or not, as I requested. I think having more than 1 person (Robbie Reynard) help you with your riding is advantageous. I guess only time will tell as Austin is now unobtainium!
