They were one of the world's most popular bands from about 1983 - 1993. Definitely one of the best New Wave bands out there, during the 80's! That Wembley Stadium show was a triumphant moment for them. I am so glad they captured it on film!
Wow, that's quite a run to be on the top! 🔝🏆 They definitely deserve more recognition from all generations. I'm so glad to have discovered them. I will watch that documentary you mentioned soon. I just want to explore a few more songs before I do. This was such a passionate performance. I'm happy they captured it, as well.
@jemxs Wow, 35 cameras & a helicopter. It gives me chills thinking about it. I wish I could have seen them live. Yes, this was such a good investment!! I've only watched one song so far, and I'm pumped to watch the next songs, but I'm forcing myself to wait.

I saw these guys live in 1985 in New Zealand when i was around 18. I did like the band but the show totally blew me away and I’ve a huge fan ever since. Amazing really as I was a total metal head at the time and didn’t really listen to radio music much.
You were super lucky to see them live. At first, I thought this was "heavy rock," but I'm learning that there's different types of rock music or metal music. I was blown away just watching it from home! Super glad you were able to experience them live. 🎼🌌🎶
Listening to INXS always puts a smile on my face! Such a brilliant live band. Michael oozes charisma and sexyness! Yes he did say what you first thought he did..he really enjoyed the crowd participation 😂

I'd love to even post a reaction to these documentaries, but if I don't, I will surely let you know my thoughts. I looked up the Last Rockstar, and it has two parts, I think. It looks so lovely. 😍 ✨️
@@AmarissNevae yes it has 2 parts almost 3 hours long lol I'd love to send you pics of the book and movie posters to Perfume. But YT doesn't let you do that. Are you on any other social media? I only have Facebook messenger lol that would be interesting if you did a review if you watched that documentary. It goes deep into his life and his passing. His passing is a mystery in itself. He was tangled in a huge relationship battle that was always in the headlines back in the day as much as Princess Diana used to be. He also had an accident that changed his entire life but I don't wanna spoil anything. He did date alot of famous celebrities including Kylie Minogue. There is an INXS song about her. There are INXS songs about all his girlfriends. His solo music outside INXS is extremely different
Three hours is not long when it's about someone or something you like/love. I'd enjoy watching them. That would be lovely, but I don't have any social media. I'm really introverted at times, but I really enjoy youtube. Perhaps I can buy it online. I didn't read about his passing in detail, but I'm interested. I feel so bad that he had to deal with the paparazzi in his life. I could only imagine how stressful it was. Poor sweet Michael. 🥹 I can't wait to hear the songs about his girlfriends. What's your favorite absolute top song by them?
INXS has been one of my favorite bands since the early 80s. "Don't Change" and "Beautiful Girl" are faves- both beautiful but completely different sounds.
@@AmarissNevae Your reaction to "girl things" made me think of another amazing live performance from an iconic band I have loved since the mid 80s- U2 performance of "With or Without You" in 2001 will explode your mind and would be perfect to react to sometime: th-cam.com/video/_Ye8GLPUVsM/w-d-xo.html

@@AmarissNevae I noticed that my message was removed- maybe due to the link? Just to be clear, it's the 2001 live performance of U2's "With or Without You" that I mentioned. Sharing in music is one of my favorite things- I am jealous that there's so much amazing music out there to be heard for the first time for you!
my husband's fave song is the stairs, mine is by my side, both performed on live baby live. not ones most people mention, so much charisma on the slower balads too. frankly my favorite live stuff is from live at barker hanger. I like later inxs, full moon dirty hearts, welcome to whereever you are, and elegantly wasted, also michael’s work with max Q. It's not a typical opinion though. it hurts, because in my heart and mind michael was just getting better, vocally and lyrically. I miss him so much. your reaction was fun, and michael would approve of you singing along, so don't worry about that.
Thank you! I'm glad it was fun.🎉🥳 I got sorta carried away with the effects on Michael. 😆I was trying to portray the energy he and INXS had onstage. He was so vibrant up there! I can't wait to hear your favorite songs! I will definitely also watch live at barker hanger. That IS heartbreaking 💔 I wish he was still around but I believe he's in a better place. 😢 Thank you. Everyone else was singing, and I didn't want to let Michael down 😆 Hopefully, not too many ears were injured in the process.
Michael was voted back then as the sexiest man in the world. It was all a facade for the stage. When the performance started, he sizzled with sensuality and charisma, but off stage, the other side of Michael was shy, sweet, and endearing. You should check out the official video for the song Mystify. You get to see both sides of him. Personally, I think your original interpretation of the lyrics is more correct, but if there is one thing a good frontman knows how to do, it's play their crowd, and Michael was an exceptionally good frontman.
That's quite the frontman despite being shy.. Not a lot of people who are introverted and reserved could pull off what he did. He was meant to be the star of INXS. He did it so exceptionally well. He captivated the hearts of many. ✨️ I'll check out mystify. 🫶
Thank you! I'm glad that your ears walked away unharmed. 😂 I had the concert volume on full blast, so I didn't realize how loud I was talking and singing. OoooOo "Need You Tonight" could either be a super ballad romance song or a "sensual" one like this. I look forward to hearing it. 😊
