What a beautiful ship! I do believe its command bridge is in the front, at least from episode 3. Also, your unboxings are always the best because you can tell that you are actually excited and knowledgeable about what you are opening, and that’s why I keep coming here to watch.

Nice instincts! The Free Dac Engineering Corps designed this ship and they were composed of Quarren engineers who seceded from Mon Calamari Shipyards and supported the CIS
Fantasy Flight sure seems to be putting a lot more detail/paint on their ships now...
I like the Invisible Hand title so much, I already had Admiral Tater make me a special card / squadron holder for it. Now I just need my preorder to come in!

The model is stunning! The only thing potentially missing is the blue hanger bays on the sides, but maybe the hanger doors are just closed? I can’t wait till this thing comes in the mail!!

It's actually not surprising that the Providence looks very much like the Home-One type ships, apparently the Quarren designed the Providence, and as we know from TCW They have a large population on Mon Calamari, it is unclear as to whether the Home One type was designed partially or fully by Mon Calamari or Quarren. Though they were manufactured by different drive yards, Rendili and Mon Calamari respectively.
I thought the Separatist supply ship might be the huge ship in the clone wars, but according to wookieepedia, it's about the same size as the providence in length, just the same again in width and height, where as the lucrehulk is like 3 times the length and width of the supply ship. Clearly the only huge ships can be lucrehulk and Malevolence.
Love this ship, a mix of french pre drednought and ancient galley.

For Hot Landing, my guess is that A) they wanted to give both factions have it for when it is useful. And B) future proofing since players might pick this up AFTER Adept squadrons come out and thematically we know what scene this is based off of and it makes sense to be in the Invisible Hand expansion.

My guess on Thermal Shields is due to balancing that you've pointed out. Most Clone Wars ships have 1 brace. Many Civil War era ships have 2 brace where this could be excessively good

After dropping so much into X-Wing I can't really afford Armada as well, but damn are the ships nice.

Semi frustrating that the Republic ships and squadrons are either selling out or getting delayed, while the Separatists are in stock and getting their third ship.
the fact that armada ships are so expensive but they can't even include all the materials needed to play the ship is ridiculous.
My only question about the Invisible Hand card, if you were able to drop your squadrons in attack range of an enemy force, could they attack too. I ask because the squadron command is going to the card and it doesn't specify an attack, but only to place the activated squadron.
I just thought of putting point defense ion cannons on the Starhawk to help its defensive capabilities, would that help it?

The way to fix the card size is to go back to the old sizes. Don't fix what ain't broke. Capital Ships deserve Tarot sized card imho. There is some allure to it. Plus we pay big money for these ships usually surely Asmodee can afford it...
I'm going to hard disagree with you on the points cost/upgrade bar placement. I think it's one of the better design decisions I've seen for a unit reference card.

The providence as well as many other ships were in fact mon Cala designs, but they were stolen by the Quarren seperatists.

plans of ships come from qvaren which is the second human-Jewish race on mon cala it is speculated that the plans were stolen by calamrum but it is possible that it is a winemaker of cooperation

It's very hard to tell from the review, but does the ship have visible turrets anywhere (the Munificent is bristling with them, but the dreadnought seems to missing them)?
Great looking ship. Thought it was going to be a bit bigger though since it’s coming in at around €60 here compared to Home one and ISDs which were around €40.

Would equipping both the B2 Rocket Trooper and Quad Laser Turrets essentially give you a counter of 2 blue dice? Does a counter attack act as an attack for the purposes of using the B2's ability?
