Recently, by the way, we saw a similar solution from Hikvision, but the approaches here are different and we're about to find this out. And there's brand-new Dahua VTO2211G-WP 1080p Wi-fi Stand-alone Door Phone, which can also boast with some nice features, and specifically one killer feature - the fact that it is stand-alone and operates on its own with no intercom monitor, due to which it’s likely it will become your next door phone. It’s clear why it’s so awesome - the door station is really light, has a physical call button, supports entry by access control cards, has Wi-fi, and most importantly - the fact that it is stand-alone, which is a highly demanded feature now. Is there a way of ordinarily powering the indoor station by usb but adding battery back up if being used as an alarm?
Can you ratate the camera at outdoor station for angle viewing?

It's POE cable. PoE contains both Internet and 12V DC

How do you set the unlock timing? My door unlocks for 1 second. I would like it to be set for at least 3 -5 seconds.

Great Video - How do you install the apps on the monitor? Is playstore included?
There is a microUSB socket on the back of the touch screens, connect to a PC, and it will mount as a drive. Copy APKs over, then, use the built in file manager, select "show internal storage" and sideload the APKs you copied over
Alternatively, you could use an SD card

@@hinachow1 I'm assuming you mean set the VTO to a static IP? I managed to get the VTH to connect to the SIP server while in LAN but for the life of me, I can't seem to get it to work with wifi

I'm very interested in this product VTO2211G-WP, do you know if is it possible to completly disable the external voice and external ringtone and eventually adjust volume for external ring and voice. I'm looking for silent external IP door bell, just internal ring or notified thrught app. Thank's.

This one Dashua looks good, but I haven't found a user experience yet.
@@TomyCroSound I bought the VTO, excellent product, the volumes can be lowered or completely disabled. The only flaw is that to make the electric lock release work I have to power the VTO with PoE and the lock with separate power supply, but I'm still trying to use the VTO power supply for the electronic lock as well.
@@tizianofi Great that the ringing sound outside can be turned off! Why doesn't the unlock work, not enough voltage? Do you have pi onfo, does norification work on android and ios, on multiple devices?
@@TomyCroSound Hi, I found this video that help me with lock door connection, it's based on Hikvision but connectors are tha same as Dahua VTO and work well. So you can unlock wihout extra PS, but you need for VTO a 12V 2A power supply not less than 2A. th-cam.com/video/L_8humrjGAE/w-d-xo.html
For notifications work great on Android with gDMSS PLUS app, you can also use an Android Tablet with gDMSS PLUS HD as internal video unit. Remember to enable notifications inside the app, there are videos for help on how to

Looks like a great monitor. Can anyone confirm applications like Spotify, google home, etc work with these? Does Dahua have permission to use those applications? Otherwise it's just a bigger screen with no real smarts
