imagine calling the police because your house is getting robbed and the only officer to show up is doing a revolver only challenge
Imagine calling the police for a domestic dispute and the officer is doing an any% speedrun
A lot of smaller countys PD's still use revolvers. I hate it but...
My dad did when he was a deputy. Qualified on it and trained regularly. He could shoot 6r6 faster than the other guys could with their Glocks. If the person is proficient I don’t really care what they carry
Imagine calling the police to an active home invasion just to find out he’s speedrunning at an any% with a revolver only

The graphics in video games development got to reach a barrier point somewhere to the point that the environment can't look anymore realistic as it is already looking like real life. Once saw a comparison of microsoft flight simulator with real life aerial photo, people on the comments said that the game looks more real than the real life photo itself.
@@TheGamingMotionTGMIt's crazy how far graphical fidelity has gone. I think sim/realistic games are perfect for it, but there are a lot of games where they focus way too much on graphics. It makes most games nowadays feel really homogenous and mundane visually to me.
RoN needs more mundane maps like this, not only to fill in the world but some easy maps to give the player and team a break
I feel like the game would benefit a lot from high risk warrant style of missions like in SWAT 4, and it would fit the theme better overall
I think the game would be a lot more fun with a better story mode. Like you don't get to pick what map you load into, you just have to go answer whatever call is going on. You're first mission could be a giant bank robbery or just a single guy robbing a house. I think it would be pretty fun and make the game less predictable. They could also add roguelike elements where you unlock more guns and gear with the money you make from missions, and the jobs just keep getting harder and harder until you eventually lose and restart the whole thing over.
@@DaPumpkinHeadi wish the game had a story at all LOL currently it only has a very developed setting and world building
100% i would love if all the maps were like this, slow and simple call outs instead of every time it being 20 guys with heavy weapons and too much ammo
@@sappo82RoN is more of a delta force cqc simulator than a high risk law enforcement simulator
ROFL! “You ain’t doin’ shit!” Then homeboy charges at the cop and gets immediately collapsed.
He forgot that the FBI study that said 7 yards to reach someone with a knife without getting shot doesn't account for the cop already having his gun drawn.
realism
@@daniel.holbrookRoger that. Trailers and EMTs are standing by.
it's sad how realistic this interaction with suspects actually is. Same goes for when you tell them to put down their gun and they just casually say "no"
@@Omegaset yeah we cant complain about npc's being unrealistically stupid here because real life criminals are pretty much the same
The title makes me think this game would work pretty great as a robbery simulator where you have to deal with the angry occupants
I feel like GTA 6 will have this covered, judging by the leaks
Multiplayer where robbers goal is to max profit and escape uninjured. Bonus for peaceful runs to prevent shootouts. Would be a little prisoners dilemma for players if every kill would half the team score, so even if a team just runs and guns, the reward would be extremely low vs if they complied and let another player try to escape while the apprehended player was being escorted away.
@@SCIFIguy64so payday 2/3
@@dingle849 yeah but the police are also players that need to abide by ROE and try to deescalate before shooting with proximity voice chat. Criminals need to maximize their haul without dying, but also not getting apprehended. A team deathmatch will result in a small win, either criminals can manage one player to escape with a complete haul or cops catch everyone alive for maximum score.
What about the home owner side. Like Alien, predator & marine

Ah yes, the standard issue six shooter revolver
Actually yeah. Until recently, the most issued kind of gun issued to police officers were revolvers. Not as common these days, but I do know that California swat uses an 8 shot revolver called the smith and Wesson r8.

Look up “Colt Army Special”
@@jaxfernandez3684 I'm not into weapons at all, but aren't those type of weapons low on ammo and kinda long to reload ?
@@brioche5845 average shots in a self defense situation is 3 rounds in 3 yards in 3 seconds. With the R8 you have 8 rounds, which is between 2-3x that amount. They are slow to reload, but when you carry a revolver you most likely have two, in that case you just holster one and grab the other. This is called the New York reload, and it’s actually faster than changing magazines. If you were to reload a revolver, they make speed loaders, and you get faster if you train on reloading.
How did the bathroom get locked with no visible keyhole, no one inside the room, and the window to the room shut?
A sorcerer did it
Somebody superglued it up, just to cause a minor amount of inconvenience
It's not impossible to close a window from the outside.
Turning the lock on the knob before closing the door
Could have some of those little bars that let you peek in
Focus on open doors before closed ones. Finish one room/building before moving to a new one area to avoid being shot in the back. Also, find your safe spots to reload during downtime bowen firefights.
Also completely forgot to secure the second suspect with a gun right beside him
EXACTLY, so many times he didn't check the open areas or where he'd be in the open (like the clear opening to that room he saw, but proceeded to check the _pantry_ first) & when he didn't check all corners or in the front of that car in the garage could have got him killed
0:55 "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! Now you have to buy it, it's used!"
I like how the officer reloads the revolver like a professional and doesn’t f**k around spinning the cylinder and being flashy. It adds a lot more realism. It kind of makes me think of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 a little bit.
Ok my man the thumbnail looked like actual body cam footage, i was really worried until i saw ready or not in the title
When you enter a room check corners first. That’s where you usually get killed from. Focus on open doors before you open closed ones to avoid someone catching you off guard. Clear the whole structure. Nice work though!
In few years, games like this in VR would be in police training program.
Dutch army already does simulator training, at least the reservists do. It's cheaper thay way.
(which mostly is to say: Before that you ran into guys who'd served like 2 years and hadn't fired their weapon outside the range)

the swat 4 voice over is the best for me
Pre-1980s, that normal difficulty, except you probably woulda been using a 38 special and not what looks to be a .357 magnum. Less power.
He could have been highway patrol. Magnums were the norm.

Man, I miss the days of realistic Rainbow Six. Rogue Spear, Covert Ops, Black Thorn... Those were GREAT games and made your heart pump like crazy. (Not like the generic crap they turned into now).
This video reminded me a little of those classics. Does anyone know about more games like that? Modern ones.
Arena breakout and scape from tarkov, theyre pretty much the same thing. Now they might not be the concept you're looking for but they're still fps wich you need to use real tactics.
Have you play Conflict game? It's not a fps game but rather a mil-sim and it was way ahead of it's time, my favorite one have to be Conflict Desert Storm and Conflict Vietnam.

A vampire LEO. No reflexion in the mirror.😅
th-cam.com/video/YXY2UEhtWQc/w-d-xo.html If it wasn't for his unreasonable pre-firing and the officer's repeatedly-confirmed presence, the armed suspect outdoors could've been a defending homeowner who didn't know that a police officer was on the property. Still, good job on the officer's part for staying alive to prevent more casualties from occurring.
