Hey everyone thank you for listening and shoutout to Webnation Africa for sharing my journey🖤✨ 🙌🏾
Young queen we heard your eloquent, soulful, inspiring call. Glad that you heard your calling of working with underprivileged children. You look gorgeous and peaceful. I just subscribed to your channel too. This was excellent. Thank you ❤!
Trikeria i feel your fine spirit , you look lovely and Africa is home.
Trekeria you are a wonderful representation of everything good in the African American culture. I am proud that you are our ambassador to the Senegalese people. Your attitude about life will make you a success in any country you choose. Thank you for making me proud. ❤
Best wishes
Had this playing and wasn’t listening intently, but, then heard Serigne Salliou’s God Mommy. Ears perked right up! ❤ That would make you a sister of his amazing Mom which speaks volumes! That would mean the Diakhate family showed you Senegalese terranga. Best wishes! Have to come see you the next time I am in Senegal. And yes! French is great to know and Wolof is even better as it helps to form connections with the people. While French goes a long way, Senegal is much different from other Francophones in that there is a preference for Wolof mixed with French rather than actual full on French. Of course this can change as you go further away from Dakar where other languages like Diola, languages from the Manding branches such Diahanke or Pulaar in may be the primary or only spoken languages in those regions.
for anyone who is not aware, american citizens don’t need visa to visit Senegal
I'm Senegalese born in the U.S. I want to move to Senegal. America is falling and I miss Senegal. It's so peaceful compared to the west. People are happier, funnier, more calm. Less in a rush. Food is better tasting and better for the body. Last time I went there I lost a dress size in 1 month.
Congratulations to her! Breaking all kinds of generational curses❤You Go Girl🎉
All praises to the Most High 🙏🏾
African American in Saint-Louis, Senegal for 3 years now. If you haven’t been up this far north yet, come visit. I’d love to host you and show you around. Swap Senegal stories.

Africa is beautiful.
WOW. I've never really been into poetry, but I think this woman helped me understand or got my attention.
Im happy to hear that.
@@Trikeria
WOW, it's you! ☺️
I'm an African-American male born and raised in Arizona. If I'm able to save up, I'm interested in moving to Ghana...I don't want to come back to America, only for my family, or income if needed. I did two DNA tests. One test revealed I'm mainly a mixture of different African groups/countries, and my African ancestry test on my mom's side revealed that I'm 100% Akan. The Akan are mainly in Ghana, and some are in Ivory Coast and Togo. From what I see, it seems us so called "African Americans" are Hebrew Israelites, the people in West Africa and other parts of Africa are as well, but a lot of them there, may not be aware of it.
Welcome home my sister, I admired your courage
Very insightful interview. She has a positive and great perspective.
Thank you
The lady has a beautiful voice and im happy she has been successful living in Senegal would love to meet her in person one day

Hi Webnation and young lady

Wow this video is gud.
Great interviews as always, but bro please chill with the accent. 😜😉
From one actor/teacher to another, Dope! Very well said sis. I've been researching travels to Africa for 2 years now. I hope to travel there soon!

Dada Trikeria, Karibu nyumbani Afrika, wakenya tunakupenda sana ❤. Asante sana na karibu Afrika.
Why are we still speaking French in Africa? What kind of NONSENSE is this? Can we speak our native language? Colonization is really deep in Africa
Why the hell are you speaking english then? Its a colonizer language. Nonsense
Keep going my sister! You’re going to make it through this!
WOW that is so beautiful ❤️😊
The most dreamy eyes ever🫶🏾
I definitely think we focus too much on slavery and not enough on when we were Kings and Queens, when Africans first ruled in Europe, how we crossed the seas before Christopher Colombus and the Portuguese plus much more.
Before the transatlantic slave trade and modern migrations, humans left Africa in waves. Around 70,000-100,000 years ago, Homo sapiens migrated, some following Asia's coast to Australia, others through the Levant (Israel, Jordan) to Europe, reaching the British Isles 30,000 years ago. Another migration occurred 45,000 years ago via the Bering land bridge, populating the Americas during the Ice Age. These movements were influenced by environmental changes, population growth, and resource exploration, shaping diverse global populations over millennia.
1. The vast majority of enslaved Africans were not "kings and queens" in fact they were victims of war and sold as a result
2. Africans did not cross the sea before Columbus, the Malian myth has no basis and they didn't even have the sail to allow for trans-oceanic travel.
I know there's a deep need to believe these things to feel better about yourself but it's perpetuating a false history. Having Central African inlaws they don't have qualms about how their ancestors lived and who they were. They don't feel the need to "compete" with eurocentric history.
I recommend doing the same.

You are very positive and enjoyed listening to you. However, I am not sure but realize you might want to check your thyroid. I am a healthy professional and just thought I see it a little swollen. It wouldn’t hurt just checking it out. Listening to you is so refreshing. Wishing you peace and abundance in all you are doing in Senegal.
I'm happy she is not the product of trauma and that she had a healthy childhood in the USA we need more of her
Than African American parents need to stop being so toxic and raise their children with love and nurturing. Generational trauma is breakable.
@@jaxthewolf4572 You are painting with a broad brush. Not all families have toxicity. My wife is African, so I know that there is trauma and toxicity in the continental African families as well.
There is more. A lot more like her, it's just that a number of the people that he interviewed have had that story. Secondly, the guy doing the interview always asks that question to guests, as if he is looking for trauma.
Bless
very nice
Did she say how she got a job? Was it difficult?
I’m a teacher by profession. It wasn’t easy but luckily I chose a profession that is still highly needed worldwide.
If you are in a different profession it probably will be more difficult, mainly if you have no connections in the country. Also, the unemployment rate here is nearly 50% so imagine.
I pray for you in the name of Jesus
Wonder if Ill have an easier time in Senegal than in Ghana 43:02
Our men are not helping the community. Our young people do not having mentors.
❤❤🎉😮😊
Because children having babies and the parents lack of education
What is her IG or YT?
Nonsense 🤮
💯🤎🤎🤎
IF I GET UP 5 THOUSAND AND COME OUT THEIR CAN I MAKE IT ?
You can do anything you put your mind to… if it’s truly a goal/ vision put in the work to see it manifest.
@@Trikeria IS THEIR A COMMUNITY OUT THEIR DO PEOPLE LINK UP WITH YOU OR SOMETHING WHEN GETTING TO A ENTIRE NEW CONTINENT ITS A BIG MOVE BUT I REALLY ALWAYS WANTED TO COME .
