What the hell, eck commenting on a Philly D video!? Sometimes i need to get that content creators watch other content creators, but thats too much brain power for a simple viewer like me to understand. Hope you had a good day eck, love your content man!
I didn't really notice it at first. I think it worked/i didn't realize it for most of the first story but as soon as it carried over the cut from story to story i was like *what is THAT😨* 😂😂😂
It's so odd and distracting, I had to listen to the shaken baby story twice because I couldn't focus on what Phil was saying lol I could only hear the out of place percussion in the background
They got a huge amount of shit last time they tried music in the show, so I'm really surprised they tried again. Opinions haven't changed, the music is still awful. Hope they stop trying to make it a thing.
I have to go back and watch a video from last week just to make sure that I wasn't trippin and had missed it all this time nope it's new and I hate it😅
The main problem with the background music is that it straddles that line between just loud enough to hear it and just faint enough to think it's random music from a neighbor bleeding through the walls, thus making it more annoying than ambient. The only place it kind of worked was during the space x story because it was loud enough to hear and kind of had epic, space-y vibes, but even then it felt like maybe it was a subtle way of telling me how to interpret the story rather than being unbiased background music.
I dont think you should add music, not because the music is bad, but because music creates an emotional response which could be deemed as manipulative to certain stories.
Personally I also thought it was terribly mismatched too. Like a low stakes piece of news is being shown to us, but then the background music is "slasher movie with the villain lurking behind a corner."
I'm way too old to know who Sabrina Carpenter is, but I remember Britney Spears shows and songs being this sexual as well, this is in no way a new thing
His coverage of the story wasn't great. It feels forced just because Sabrina is in the thumbnail. The VALID question everyone is asking.. from Taylor Swift to Lady Gaga to Megan Thee Stallion to Jlo to Madonna to Nicki Minaj---- WHEN does a pop performance become so explicit that we age gate it? Gaga and Megan Thee Stallion have done CRAZY shit on stage. We age gate stripping to protect kids and teenagers. We are simply finding out the old rules aren't adapting well to the new needs of us. When myself and Phil were kids, Girls Gone Wild commericals ran on comedy central at night. Kids are constantly being force fed explicit content and now we have 11 year old beauty influencers. Carpenter was a missed chance for Phil to talk about how Millenials and Gen Z have to parent to let their kids live but not become little vessels for content that is getting more and more extreme. It's a real issue and we want to give young people a chance to enjoy stuff with the training wheels on. Sabrina is too explicit for teenagers, yet a lot of people listening to this music infront of SMALLER kids too.
Britney was also being abused, we know that now. All the older women who were scared for her being hyper sexualized, they were right. all of the "pre teen" market is disappearing. It's too explicit. pre teens and teenagers need to live, too.
And unfortunately Britney was like 16-21. Sabrina is 25-26. She can do that stuff. The problem is parents allowing their kids to listen to what’s popular for adults, and then attend their concerts
@@pixie_dust1985if I was a performer I’d only do concerts for 21+. These performers allow child audiences, and often even promote or even make their music for the kids and teens on tik tok. Bc they’re a huge base of people with their parents money. Any artist with explicit lyrics should automatically be 18+. These artists think it’s not their responsibility, which is gross to me. How can you be sexual on stage knowing there’s kids there? Ofc you didn’t put them there, but you can make your concerts 18+. They just know they have a lot of kid/teen fans and don’t wanna exclude them. That part is weird to me. I also wouldn’t feel safe as a performer having kids around adults that like my sexual music, a lot of kids have been trafficked or assaulted at concerts like these!!
Same! I went to the top of my stairs and screamed "Alexa!!! Stop!!!" because I thought the muffled music was somehow coming from my downstairs living room, not my phone, as I was listening while washing my face in the upstairs bathroom sink.
A FEMA worker came by what was my house, and he literally was nearly in tears seeing the damage. He had come to my place not long after flying from out of town. A lot of these workers left their own home and family to come help us.. and we threaten their lives?! My coworkers are shocked when I said I already had $750 + $300 deposited into my account after they saw on Facebook that it’s “only going to immigrants”
@@Avrysatos People just hear what they want to hear, if they want to hate on the government and people of color then they'll believe whatever helps them do that.
This is what happens when people desperately want to believe that they live in a supernatural world and that they are the objective "good guys" so that no matter what horrid things they think and do, they are, by default, doing the "right thing".
Agreed. It is creepy and makes it misleading for people who are not actually reading the screen as they'll think it was the person being quoted actually speaking.
@@pearlygirl88 agreed. did a huge disservice to the stories too. i didn't notice the AI stuff, i'll need to go back and watch that. i wish he'd test these bigger changes on random shorter videos, not actual the weekly show.
I physically recoiled when the AI voice came up - was zoning out while getting my morning work done and it rocked me right out of the work trance i was in. Rare Philly D miss.
My best friend worked for FEMA for many years. She was deployed to hurricane recovery zones several times. For months, she would be away from home, away from loved ones, away from community, normalcy, and everything, all while living in disaster zones and doing very difficult work. Unsurprisingly, her mental health suffered, and I know one time in particular she had a pretty serious bout of depression. Yet she almost always volunteered for deployment when she could, because as hard as it was, she knew it was how she could do the most good. I cannot imagine making all those sacrifices, only to be met with threats and violence, and with people intentionally making your already difficult work that much harder. My blood absolutely boils for the FEMA employees, as well as for those who are unable to receive the relief they need because of these horrible lies. Occasionally, my friend and her colleagues would be told not to wear there vests due to some minor unrest, but this is next level.
On the Sabrina Carpenter story, whenever i hear the "but think of the children!" people complaining about things that are not explicitly made for children, I think of a line from Parks and Rec where Ron mentions something like "should we ban steaks because children cant eat them?" Its truly an evergreen quote
“Female Drag Queen” describing Sabrina Carpenter lets me know that person doesn’t know what Drag Queens are and are trying to draw attention away from whatever that person is for.
Low key reminds me of how when Miley broke away from Disney and started her wrecking ball phase, or when Zendaya popped off in Euphoria, people were acting similarly. And I think it stems from her being a Disney star. People still regard them as celebrities with a children audience when their strongest audience have grown up with them.
Those kinds of people that use children as their excuse shield are deeply uncomfortable people with their own selves. Usually not incredibly intelligent people either
They just choose not to care what they consume until they realise that it’s rotting their kids brains and then it’s everyone else’s problem except theirs
Surely artist have a responsibility to state weather their shows are suitable for children on the when they sell tickets. If not the artist then The Film and Publications Board should definitely step in.
@@michelojere6087 no it is the parent's responsibility to know what their kids are watching/listening to. That is always the default for parents to blame everyone else when you can easily open up a youtube video or look up lyrics in 5 minutes and inform yourself.
Please don’t use AI voices especially for quotes…I either want to hear the actual person’s voice or Phil’s voice. Quotes have emotion in them and having AI read it takes out the emotion the person meant with it and when it’s a different voice, we assume that was the actual person’s voice.
Yeah, I was audio-only and it confused the heck out of me. I knew something was wrong about it but AI hadn't even crossed my mind until the comments, my best guess was some weird type of stroke, but I figured philly woulda commented on that. Second best guess was world's most bizarre clip corruption, the only thing that made sense not to comment on. When AI is used to read things I expect it to be audibly announced at the very least so there is zero confusion. The AI content is audio, therefore the disclaimer also must be. Even then I'd prefer it not be used at all except in joking manners. This one woulda been fine imo if Phil had just said "Hey [AI], repeat that thing Plunkett said!", but here we are...
I like how the story is Israel complaining that they can’t kill their enemies enough with peacekeepers in the way, and following is just reposts of various Palestinian civilians who were murdered in a refuge camp because they tried to get a polio vaccine
It's just horrifying. The one tiny silver lining in all of this is more people learning how many Palestinians have been either murdered or exiled from their own land by Isreal since the 1940s.
The complaint is about the peacekeepers doing nothing as a internationally designated terrorist organisation placed launch sites and other supplies for their terrorism activity in clear view of the places those peacekeepers were stationed at. Forget enforcing the international resolution that placed them there, we can eventually find out that some of them went the way of UNRWA and straight up colluded with the terrorists.
What do you not understand about war? Yes it’s sad that children are some of the victims, but that is the result of multiple terrorist attacks. You are delusional if you think the US wouldn’t do the exact same thing
What do you not understand about war? While it is sad that some children have become victims, but that is a result of multiple terrorist attacks. You are delusional if you don’t think the US wouldn’t do the same thing
Philip just repeated the propaganda from idf. There's a idf tower right beside the unifil tower. So if unifil is responsible for the tunnel, so is idf. It doesn't even look like a tunnel, looks like a well opening. If it was a tunnel, they would have shown a lot more than just a hole on the ground. Also, Philip just mentioned that idf is coercing palestinian detainees to explore booby traps. This is literally called "using civilians as human shields", his reporting on palestine is really strange.
My brother volunteered with FEMA during the pandemic and the horrible wild fires we had in Oregon and they had to go through special training on how to deal with right wing militias threatening to hunt them while delivering food, ppe, and vaccines. And even while getting livestock to safely.
As an Oregonian this doesn't surprise me at all. So many people look at Oregon and just visualize Portland. They're forgetting that the other 65% of the state is rural/small communities. I grew up in one of those communities. I can honestly say people have no idea how these conservative communities view the government. It's not positive. I hope one day this is talked about more extensively.
The idea that some terrible accident could happen to a baby and then, when the parents rush then to the hospital, they could be arrested and convicted of harming him (without legitimate evidence) is beyond horrifying.
I watched this unfold- but my sister accidentally caused nurses elbow to my niece when she was a baby trying to catch her before she was midway launching herself between the table and couch. my sister was terrified to bring in her daughter because she was sure she'd be arrested for an accident. I went with her and all was good thankfully. but that injury is common in abuse cases x.x
Biomedical field has tried to shake babies to death for decades now, but humans just aren’t strong enough to cause such injuries.. The whole theory is based on primitive crash tests done using monkeys, as if strength of human arms correlates with speed of a car. Sigh. It’s terrifying how forensic “science” works. Anyone can stitch up a theory; as long as your credentials are fancy enough and it sounds plausible, it gets used to convict people, no peer studies needed. Bite marks, shaken baby, partial shoe prints, certain ballistics, 3 baby deaths means crime, pour patterns and other early arson theories.. junk science. As long as there is a human bias in the process, results may vary. Drastically. I find calling it science offensive and misleading, when theres no comprehensive studies, just opinions based on unchallenged theories. And this is well known by now, but the justice system fights any and all changes, naturally. The actual truth might encumber future convictions, or exonerate the innocent already locked up.. Not all forensics are like that, DNA is quite solid by now and has freed many wrongly convicted peeps, but too much of it isn’t studied (enough or at all) and still in use. Terrifying!
My baby cousin had evidence of micro fractures from a hard birth, they didn’t pick up on them until a later hospital visit In which - my cousin and his wife, the most kind and gentle parents ever Got ran through the ringer and almost had their children taken from them completely over it. It was horrible- an entire fucking 3 ring circus.
I like that we're all screaming about Tiktok's addictive algorithm, when Instagram has been the same if not worse for years. Instagram only JUST THIS MONTH released their "teen accounts" - a feature that should have existed a long long time ago. It's likely that tiktok will follow suit.
Hahaha I did the exact same thing. I was like wtf in playing in the background. It’s the first time in a very long time I have not watched a full episode. I couldn’t handle it.
It's worse than just there... It's barely there. If it was louder it would be annoying but I could ignore it. But I can just barely hear it so my brain keeps focusing on it to figure out what it is. I really, really hope Phil drops it. Nice try. now listen to the very _not_ barely there feedback. Lol
I lost my childhood home to the 1993 floods and FEMA were the ones who came into our house, helped us try to salvage things, and paid for a huge portion of the down payment that my parents were able to put on a new home later through the relief funds that they gave us. Our community couldn’t do it without them because almost everybody was affected. I don’t even know if my parents would have been able to buy a new home if it weren’t for FEMA. And I come from a republican family and a very conservative region. This is the difference that the misinformation renaissance has made from one disaster to another. Even my own parents brains are on the spin cycle now and they’ve lost their only child to it. It’s crazy how deep seated this hysteria has become.
It’s really sad, such a divide between myself and even some family that I never thought would lean so right let alone get relatively radicalised. I maintain good relationships with boundaries but there’s a special kind of fire in me against populist bullshit. Against the bullshit specifically, not my family. But it is what it is right?

@@thebabyrhino I'd argue it's even easier to vet music artists. If a kid wants to go to a concert, you don't have to put down a sizeable amount of money to look up an artist and some of their hit songs or even just the lyrics of the songs, how many are explicit, what they're singing about, etc. You could probably even find footage of concerts or reports of what their performances typically look like before deciding if it's a good idea to take your kid to see them.
@@gregvs.theworld451 But that requires parents actually being a parents, you have no idea how difficult it is to actually raise a child. It takes away from your tik tok time and the scrolling through IG, you actually and seriously have to be involved in the child's life.
Holy crap the AI voices for the quotes really got me - I was only listening to this episode in the background, so I didn’t realize that the quoted people weren’t the ones actually speaking until I picked up my phone when the episode was nearly over and read the comments. I was already kind of creeped out and put off by the new addition of manipulative background music… but that is definitely a major no-no. I literally thought you were playing clips of people actually speaking, which isn’t cool.
The FEMA Situation is unsurprising because I was in the emergency management sector. FEMA employees are told not to disclose that they work for FEMA because there is always a threat that someone will do something to them. However, this demonstrates the prevalence of misinformation on social media and its disastrous effects in real life.
It’s disinformation. It’s malicious. This is entirely on Trump and co. We cannot continue to allow conservatives to live in a world divorced from reality
"Pop stars are too sexual for children" was a discourse in my childhood in the early 2000s and it's sad and hilarious this is still going. Leave Britney alone! 😅😭
There was a time when Elvis and even the Beatles were considered too much for their audiences. It's all part of the ongoing discourse between the people comfortable with sexuality and the people who aren't, and the ever shifting middle ground
It's almost like this happens with like 99% of conventionally attractive former Disney stars. Like why are people even shocked? I'm all for her expressing herself. Parents need to parent better
I remember watching videos in high school about disease outbreaks in other countries and learning that part of the issue was that the people didn’t trust the doctors and government agencies that were trying to help them. It was so confusing to me at the time, but we’re watching the exact same thing unfold in the US right now.
"US urges Israel to stop shooting at UN peacekeepers in Lebanon" is such a surreal headline. The Guardian has been keeping The Onion out of business...
You’ve got the democrats wagging their finger at Israel while handing them all the weapons they’d need and just asking for them to show some more “Decorum” while the republicans full heartedly cheer on the deaths of more brown people as they assume every brown person is a terrorist. 2 halves of a whole vile American government.
I was appalled. If this isn't enough to get the West to step in and act, then sadly nothing will be. They're literally direct affiliates of the UN and the best anyone can still muster is a "hey buddy, not cool". Pathetic.
Gonna add to the comments about the music, but also, that AI read quote was jarring and off-putting. There's something about the cadence of AI speech that is just very uncomfortable.
I've got to wonder if the people complaining that a 25yo singer that sings about sex is "too sexual" are the same people that complained about her concerts offering free female hygiene products because it "sent the "wrong" message to kids"... Edit: was Olivia Rodrigo's concert not Sabrina for the free products. Though the point still stands.
No one really cares. They're just hyping her up because her publicist is broadcasting her every word or move she says or makes, as if it's actually news that matters to anyone. It's all hype to create interest in a boring person. Chappell Roan's spotlight in the public eye was nothing until they started manufacturing this stupid hype around everything she does or mentions. They do the same thing over and over, every generation. I remember when Madonna was so edgy and explicit and everyone was reporting on her every move in the late 80s as if that mattered. Same old media hyped up 'nothing stories' trying to boost the fame of a kid being used to sell music for rich producers and record labels. In reality, do people actually care about what she does, thinks, says, or sings? I seriously doubt it. Stop it Philly D, quit hyping up nobodies and making them somebody, just because of the sophomoric things they say and do.
I currently live in Linville, NC. I lived in Lake Lure NC just a few minutes up the road from Chimney Rock. The devastation is insane. Yes, some people are angry with FEMA for not bringing supplies and helping....because they don't know the supplies they are getting from their church and local businesses. CAME from FEMA! And no one is wearing FEMA T-shirts, so they can't draw the line to where it came from....they thank Jesus and move on to hating the people who helped them. It's nice to see that the community comes together and help each other...but the fact that some people really believe that democrats made a hurricane so they can steal people's property for lithium is ridiculous and deeply saddening. This is an eye-opener for our failing education system . Many lives will be changed forever because of this hurricane it should not be a political tool. It is un-American to be this divisive during a time crisis. ❤love you phil
@@veronicamaine3813 The people who said Civil War was unrealistic suffer from chronic cognitive dissonance. Hence why "This is unrealistic!" becomes their default response, because then they don't have to think introspectively.
Dear Phil, I like the idea of using music in the backgroud. Probably inspired by Johnny Harris style. but thematically the first one at the beginning is to dramatically sad, because it is mostly about politicians arguing back and forth, than the people affected, while at the israel palestina part it is to exotic adventourous rather the devastating content of it's topic. The craziest part of the shaken baby syndrome case is that it is no longer required for judges to defer to the wisdom of experts. Imagine if this judge just decides that he knows better than science, and continues to incarcerate a potentially innocent man.
Judges don't convict people. You have to convince a full 100% of the jury of a dozen of your peers that you're guilty before you can be convicted and that's not up to a judge.
@necromanticer169 they kind of do. The Supreme Court has ruled even most of the jury being drunk/high doesn't meet the bar for retrying. The other problem with your stance is the judge decides what the jury hears. Even if you truly respect the courts, you'd be a fool to seriously think its possible for bias to not be introduced that way, especially under our current system. If the judge tells the jury to consider certain evidence, they consider it. Righting that later when it's found out it shouldn't have been considered the way it was is the courts job. Unfortunately they don't actually care about doing the right thing. They do everything in their power to protect the process over individuals who happened to get fucked.
@@pixality7902 Yes a judge absolutely can bias a case, but that is not what the OP is implying, they're implying that the judge makes the decision - likely because they simply don't understand how court works.

The fact that Israel ATTACKING UN PEACEKEEPERS is relegated to a sub section in another larger section about the war crimes of Israel is crazy, 10 years ago it would’ve been worldwide headlines for weeks.
Those peacekeepers have allowed Hezbollah to fire rockets and operate in Southern Lebanon for years when they were supposed to keep the region demilitarized. The UN has its uses but conflict resolution hasn’t been one since 1950 & 1991.

I'm getting increasingly worried about reports of "armed militias" in America. I never took people saying America is becoming a truly dangerous place like Afghanistan etc seriously before but the more I hear about these armed militant groups and how this could be widespread and normal if Trump wins...who knows what America could look like very soon.....are the people saying we are heading in a 1930s Germany direction correct?
I would say so. So much of the pattern that happened in 1930s Germany is cycling back around. History is sadly circular and the human memory forgets after 50-70 years allowing for this cycle to happen again. Those who don’t study history are doomed to repeat it and those who do study history are doomed to watch everyone else repeat history with their warnings and pleas falling on deaf ears.
Let me give you a mind blowing history lesson. We aren't BECOMING Nazi Germany. We were there first. Hitler time and time again stated that his vision for Europe was the same as the American vision for their continent. Hitler was inspired by America at every turn. His idea of Lebensraum, or living space was directly inspired by American Manifest Destiny. The concentration camps were directly inspired by our treatment of Mexicans at the border at the time. Nazi Germany was Hitler's attempt to do what America has done but in Germany, to the rest of Europe. He wanted to commit genocide on other Europeans, colonize their lands and create a country that spanned from Sea to shining Sea. While Fascism was coined by Giovanni Gentile and Benito Mussolini, the ideas that made it up had already existed and were in practice across the Atlantic. Of course there are variations, America fakes it's democracy while Germany at least only faked it for a little while but, welcome to modern Fascism. Currently this country is supporting and funding a genocide no matter which party is in power.

I 100% agree that parents need to regulate what their kids watch instead of trying to censor media that CLEARLY isn't for kids. Perfect example I had a 13 year-old and his mom come into my shop this weekend. He was talking about the new Deadpool movie. His mom told him that he needs to wait till hes older to watch it and I said to him "Look it's a great movie but I gotta side with your mom it's way to mature for you. When you're older you'll love it but right now you're just not the right age." She didn't talk trash about it or say it should be kids friendly she just told him later. There's nothing wrong with that and if you have issues with that you shouldn't have kids.
It's both. Parents do a shit job at regulating social media, but also it's impossible. How do you control it as a parent? Kids can (and do) get a burner phone from friends and shit that the parent never sees. Censorship has never worked on a large scale in history, it's not going to start working now. To quote a famous mathematician: "Teens...uhhh..find a way..." They spend like 8 years lookin for loopholes in everything, this isn't an exception. All of the media is CLEARLY for kids. The whole website is made for kids. Without kids the website would be bust. Even the dirty stuff is for kids.

Love you guys ❤

Was I the only one that heard the music? I had to pause it multiple times to make sure I wasn’t crazy. Not super hot on the music, it was throwing me off and it feels like its over sensationalizing the specific story.
Why do the highest courts and law officials in our country insist on executing people when there is reasonable doubt about their guilt? It's got to be a power thing, a perverted sense that the system must be protected and that it "works." When in reality, the insistence on executing people many believe to be innocent is eroding faith in the system, not emboldening it.
Their constituents have a bloodlust. I have been talking to pro capital punishment people for years. They’ve become far more viciously vengeful over the past few years.
The problem is not the courts it is the laws themselves. The courts cannot legally overturn a jury’s verdict on reasonable doubt alone. And sadly there is no exception for death row prisoners which is completely stupid. The whole appeal process is based on the belief that the jury was correct in less proven otherwise. So the appeals court is not allowed to decide if a crime was committed only if the jury had the legal standing to make the decision that they did and that the defendant rights were not violated in the process.
Its not just that, they care more about maintaining the system than any 1 individual. Basically they think going back on previous rulings opens the floodgates for similar cases. The Supreme Court even made a ruling a few decades ago, in a case where a significant portion of the jury was drunk. They decided it wasn't enough to throw out the conviction and retry. It makes more sense when you consider they don't want to open the door to accusations about the jury and have it allow bad actors to skirt the rules. It still sucks and is shitty to do, but they've been fairly consistent on it.
@@princesssofiyagm You;re correct that that is one of the problems, but I'm referring to DAs and governors that do not vie for or give out pardons. And in this same story Phil cited multiple cases where this kind of verdict was overturned, so it's possible to do in our current system.
Then implying that the peacekeepers "should've seen" the supposed military targets. Trying to imply that the peacekeepers are somehow taking sides and trying to justify treating them as military targets.

Right as the WaPo article came out, I was speaking with a friend in Hendersonville, NC (right outside Asheville) Their FEMA inspection so they could get aid for their home was cancelled because of the threats. The amount of straw-man arguments being thrown around in the Israel/Palestine debate is staggering to me. Like, yes, I've heard a few "pro-Hamas" arguments, but the large majority of "pro-Palestine" sentiment that I've seen is just people just saying they don't support the senseless killing of Palestinian civilians. The fact that so many people are propping that up as pro-hamas rhetoric or straight-up antisemitism is wild. You can simultaneously disagree with someone's religion AND not want them to be killed. I think the fact that there are hardly any roofs for people to be thrown off of in Gaza anymore punctuates this point.
Funny i hear the complete opposite they always say they are for peace and against war but the more they talk the more you realize they think that the ethnic cleansing that took place in Israel was justified.
All of this. It's just flat out racism. But now they can justify Islamophobia by saying that _entire populations_ are terrorists. "The Israeli government isn't killing Muslims/Palestinians, they are killing _terrorists._ Scrambling eggs metaphor." And I'm a pretty hardcore anti-theist. I deeply dislike religions of all sorts. But regardless of religion I don't want to see any population of innocent civilians violenced into non-existence. And somehow _that's_ the anti-Semitic, pro-terror position.
The problem with that is that you've been willfully blind if you haven't seen a MASSIVE load of sentiments involving... let's see... "The October 7th attack didn't happen. All those videos and pictures uploaded by the terrorists themselves don't count. Also, there was no sexual assault." "The October 7th attack was a false flag operation by the Israeli government, who also finances Hamas." "The October 7th attack was justified, because Zionist oppressors." "Israel murders women and kids. And gets away with it because they control the world's banks, media, and governments. And even though that's literally a carbon copy of the claims made in "Protocols of Elders of Zion," we still know in our hearts that it's 100% true." And those are just a few examples of how the situation is: Hamas laughingly sent their people into Israel to murder men and children, and to rape the women next to their children/siblings/fathers before killing them as well. AND bragged about it. And then came back with hostages, to add to their other human shields (i.e. the Palestinian people). And have actively done as much as possible to maximize the civilian casualties, knowing fully well that the rest of the world will always put the blame on Israel... And much of that is because you are on the same side as people who are grinning giddily at the opportunity to call for the genocide of Jews, while calling the Jews... Nazis. Like villains from a One Piece story arc.
recently on Oct 7th our city had a massive palestinian protest shouting about how they were celebrating the anniversary of the day they "went over the wall". to say it was pro-hamas would be an understatement
The US govt: Constantly being caught off guard by Israeli military action in Gaza and Lebanon.... Also the US govt: Lets keep sending advanced weapons to Israel!
The reason the US is caught off guard because Israel knew the Biden admin was leaking information to the terrorist. Israel is fighting a war on 7 fronts and people in the US, people in the Biden admin are cheering their destruction.
Israel has its own advanced weapons - stop being naïve and thinking that the US pulls any of the shots there. You wanna see the middle east without the US holding Israel back?- well have fun there, its gonna make Gaza look like a picnic.

Agreed, I never realize how much the lack of background music impacted the presentation and gave a sense of objectivity.

I'm way too old to know who Sabrina Carpenter is, but I remember Britney Spears shows and songs being this sexual as well, this is in no way a new thing
Lololol I went with my mom, sister and some friends and my mom was HOOOOORRIFIED. She still talks about it to this day 😂😂😂
His coverage of the story wasn't great.

Dude I remember that line from parks n rec. Classic!
Ok 3rd time I heard a P&R ref in 1 day, I’m rewatching the show xD

They just choose not to care what they consume until they realise that it’s rotting their kids brains and then it’s everyone else’s problem except theirs

I had it on in the background so wasn't paying full attention and am definitely not a fan.
If you are quoting, it's bad journalism and bias to implement any emotion.

Terrifying!

@@necromanticer169 Fair, but that doesn;t change the dissolution of the Chevron Deference.
@@lordsnarfwhat does Chevron Deference have to do with this case? The shaken baby guy wasn’t even convicted in federal court

I'm more alarmed that they aren't being arrested immediately.

I mean you say that and yet at least half our population will still defend it.

I just realized i can only hear the background music with headphones are so i had no idea what y'all were talking about until now
The amount of straw-man arguments being thrown around in the Israel/Palestine debate is staggering to me.
"The Israeli government isn't killing Muslims/Palestinians, they are killing _terrorists._ Scrambling eggs metaphor."
And I'm a pretty hardcore anti-theist.
Also, there was no sexual assault."
"The October 7th attack was a false flag operation by the Israeli government, who also finances Hamas."
"The October 7th attack was justified, because Zionist oppressors."
"Israel murders women and kids. And gets away with it because they control the world's banks, media, and governments. And even though that's literally a carbon copy of the claims made in "Protocols of Elders of Zion," we still know in our hearts that it's 100% true."
And those are just a few examples of how the situation is: Hamas laughingly sent their people into Israel to murder men and children, and to rape the women next to their children/siblings/fathers before killing them as well.

Im sorry… how can someone be a supporter of the death penalty but staunchly pro-life? I just dont get it.
Isn’t it the age difference…😅
Those are the people who subscribe to the dichotomy of unborn = innocent, criminals = evil
Because a baby didn't commit a crime that requires it to die? Did you even think before writing that?
Because they’re anti-woman not pro life. It’s really as simple as that. The fact these people don’t care when women die or nearly die and become permanently disabled from being unable to obtain an abortion. The fact there are people who call themselves “pro life” and then commit mass murder at planned parenthood’s should tell you all you need to know.
@@flost8202yeah, but you can’t claim to be pro life and support the death penalty.
Am I hearing low background music? Not sure I like that
I had to pause like 9 times to make sure i wasn't hallucinating elevator music 😂
Won tickets to LMFAO and Ke$ha back in the day...didn't take but 10 mins for mom's to realize they messed up bringing their 7 to 13 year olds to that concert when the guy in the inflatable genitalia costume came on stage lol. But we asked ourselves back then, before we had our own kids, how did these mom's not know? The tour was called "The Ke$ha GET SLEAZY tour" lol. Like, come on, parents. THINK. 😂
You hear one cute let’s party song on the radio and assume the whole concert must be good clean fun 🙄 I do remember this
That poor father. I can't imagine spending nearly 2 decades behind bars with people calling me a baby killer, all while grieving the whole time...
Well, chances are he did kill her (he had a history of abusing her,) but their isn't definitive evidence that he killed her (so its ludicrous that he is actually going to be executed for this.)
Well, don't be a baby killer, then.
With everyone here: Very against the background music and AI reading. I watch every episode without fail and only want you guys to succeed!
