having a long hose from the strainer to the pump can starve the pump of water, especially if the strainer is clogged, a long run between them reduces the flow even more.
They also neglect to tell you that the panel will need a very specific housing, otherwise the hoses that go straight back and also to the side will not fit without a ton of extra room.
They also fail to mention that the panel only has conections for the hot side. They fail use a large enough piece of plastic to actually be strong enough for the weight of the attached pieces. Get a unit from a different company
Don't buy this watermaker. Besides skipping many steps in both their manual and this video, the design of the remote panel is beyond atrocious and will end up costing you in a very frustrating install.
It would be great to see a video on connecting the automatic timer as well as installing a diverter valve on or near the panel.
Gotta get a price and find someone to help install it now. Good video.
Great explanation video appreciate it thank you.
Please comment on why the booster pump MUST be connected directly to the strainer.

So the outside seawater enters the system where? It would be nice to show a flow diagram,

They use straight thread o ring fittings on tapered pipe thread holes into the membranes. But then again they skip that part of the install
