    I hope you enjoyed this video, folks! Regular viewers might notice a change in style: I've tried to make this review much shorter and succinct than before while not skimping on any of the details. This takes more than twice as long to edit and produce as the 'walk and talk' style. Do you prefer it like this? Or is the pace a little too rushed? Or would you prefer it where I'm giving a live commentary from behind the camera (which would make the video much longer, but reduce production time)? Do let me know please, thanks!

      Wow, this looks awesome! I wish we had these in the states, I mean we do, but they are dumbed down for us Americans and have less features. 🤣That sink, sideways orientation is smart too. I’m with you on the boxes, jury is out. That shower looked like it had a surround plastic panel behind the grey panels, so it might not be as bad as you thought, but yes, with seams… you will have leaks. The only wish would be a bit more closet space, that would enable longer trips. Excellent review and video! Thanks Sir! ❤

      Didn't seem rushed, I prefer the shorter walk and talk reviews. Only really need to pick out the key features.
      Might need an explanation of the sixties jokes for younger viewers if you are going to keep including them.

      I liked the format! Mind you, I like Andrew Ditton videos anyway, so I'm biased. The most poignant thing is that you never refer to an overview or introduction of a product as a 'review' and clearly understand the difference in meaning of the words.

    I liked the slow walk and talk format, but you managed to condense the content whilst maintaining a relaxed style Andrew...I'm sure that wasn't easy. A lovely caravan, just wish there had been more time for Dougal.

    The new pacey style is great. Others are going for a long-winded approach which can be the perfect antidote to insomnia (not mentioning any names) but this is fast, slick and instantly engaging! Keep showing the rest how it's done! 👍🚗🚌😃x

    I've never had a caravan but it was still fun watching your expert presentation, if nothing more than to compare with my motorhome or just for the entertainment.
    Thanks Andrew

    I'm really not blown away by Adria caravans. I didnt like not having the front chest of drawers though omitting this gives a usable second bed. The full size table looked very small for four people. As a female there didnt seem to be anywhere in the bedroom with a mirror and socket for doing hair and those little hanging pockets are completely unnecessary. Most four berth caravans are used by couples so there is no need to have such a massive lounge area. Looks very stylish but expensive for what you get.
    Perhaps someone should design a two birth caravan with a fixed bed and separate lounge and market it as such. As a couple our first caravan was a two birth, quickly swapped for a four as having a permanent fixed bed is for alot of people a necessity rather than a luxury but I'd never want to accommodate four people in it.
    Great video though, I love looking at what's on the market.

    Great review as always Andrew thank you. Good points made especially about the shower cubicle. When the Tiber was released a couple of years ago it was only just over £26k. Now it is £8k more! Unbelievable increase in price!

    Hi Andrew. I think the voiceover style is very professional, and well suited to a vehicle review. Adria always produce stylish caravans, but this one is exceptionally stylish. The convertible bed looks very useful, although I agree that it would get tiresome to make it up each night. Overall, it's a great luxury tourer assuming that your tow car can handle it.

    Great review Andrew. Being an Adria owner I really like the Tiber although not sure about the extra width, especially when driving on some of the narrow roads of Devon & Cornwall. Thank you.

    Really enjoyable video! And if anyone moans about ANYTHING! They're not even worth replying to! I don't always follow my own advice!! I was able to watch this one when it came out, Blondie were performing at Glastonbury this week but it was on earlier than the iow one! Thanks for sharing this one, love the Adria vans, didn't realise they were made in Slovenia (the UK spec ones I mean). They are very stylish it has to be said, I agree about the shower cubicle and the lack of a snack table. That one is ok for a cup of tea or coffee! Still very nice!! I can't believe I travel up to Lewis next Friday! I have 11 days to get everything ready!! You look so happy with the boys!! They are very dear to you, that's obvious! Beautiful dogs both of them! Take care and drive safely if out on the road! I'll catch you in the next one wherever that may be! Love and hugs xxx 😘🥰🐶🐕

    Halloooooo Andrew, great video, this van is just what we are looking for, the layout is perfect and so much better than our Srs5 Vigo.
    8 feet wide is nice but as you say, narrow roads may be a bit stressful. I always wonder with Adria what the spares situation would be bearing in mind where they are built, do they have a spares stock in the U.K.?

    • @andrewjditton
      @andrewjditton  ปีที่แล้ว

      They do! They recently increased the size of their premises to increase the spares capacity.

    Having lived with my Adria for a few years now, the only change I'd make is the table situation. The flap one is too small and oddly positioned for anything other than drinks; the bring-out table for me is too low for the seating and only really suitable for two people or four at an absolute squash - I find it too low even to type on my laptop. My observation is - Europeans spend more time outdoors eating than sitting in the van. We have followed suit & mostly eat out in the awning! Everything else about our Adria is love, love.

    • @andrewjditton
      @andrewjditton  ปีที่แล้ว

      Spot on Jackie and it's something I have been banging on about to Adria for years. Yes, Europeans spend a lot of time outdoors, but these caravans are designed for the UK market... Thanks for watching!

    Should be a regulation not to have fridge vents on the awning side. It's an accident waiting to happen imo

    • @watcher24601
      @watcher24601 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was specifically designed for the UK market. Interesting to know if European spec'd Adrias have a different arrangement or regulations.

    • @clownworld-honk410
      @clownworld-honk410 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@watcher24601 Yes. My speculation is that if there were European regs to keep the vents on the opposite side of an awning the British would copy or vice versa.

    Hi Andrew, A great review. I noticed you didn't mention anything about Al-Ko ATC being fitted? Another luxuary item missing, in my opinion, is the lack of an electric hob. Also seems very heavy for a single axiel van!

    It's a lovely Caravan Andrew for long Touring Life But I think I would still rather have your Xplore Activ 304, Everything is just so right except the 4th Bunk but I could even live with that, After the Xplore Activ all the rest are just Nice, It will be many years before anything as good comes along again, Thanks for the Video.

    Looked at a Baileys Phoenix 640 yesterday. Disappointed with WOOD GRAIN, which looks too much and cheap. Loved the layout, i.e., fixed bed, but maybe not wide enough. But I was really overcome with wood grain. This van is more stylish. There's a bit more to pay, but it's worth paying extra for style.

    Great video as always Andrew. Love the Adria's, but could you answer a question that i have yet to find the answer? Everyone says how good it is to have the Heavy Duty steady's, but why? they do the same as normal steady's. but add weight. I bow to your years of knowledge on this one.

    • @andrewjditton
      @andrewjditton  ปีที่แล้ว

      In my experience, 'regular' steadies are prone to wobble and damage to the shaft if only a tiny amount of excess strain is upon them - Heavy Duty steadies hold the caravan more steady and the shafts are less prone to bend.

    These type of vans .. which lets be honest are for couples touring.. should come with an L shaped lounge for more living space. I understand UK weight restrictions .. but a nice slide out would be good too. Why are slides ignored by all but one UK manufactuers ??

  • @watcher24601
    @watcher24601 ปีที่แล้ว

    As it is a 4 berth, I assuming it is aimed at a family of four with the lounge beds used by two children. Couples wouldn't need the extra beds (unless doubling up with another couple).
    Shame that for something described as 'luxury', little thought has gone to ergonomics or practicality. Not sure if many devices will have a cable long enough to make use of the ceiling USBs without the shelf being closer - couldn't see any racks higher up.
    Can you even get sheets for a bed made up of multiple cushions, or that has alternate raised head rests?

    Yet another New van with iNet ready system.
    I believe iNet is 3g/ bluetooth yet 3g service is being decommissioned and will be gone very soon.
    So why still fit an obsolete system?

    sculptured cushions always cut off my circulation, the trains that used to have the big skicky outy neck thing that pushed your head forward were the worst, not sure engineers/designers ever think of using these things themselves...also the amount of sockets no one is looking at electric fields and voltage on the body, and if you stuck the usb in the cubby hole beside where you sleep then you charge all sorts of high field and high radiation emitting devices while you sleep meanwhile you try to eat healthy...I know it's an elephant in the room but those of us sensitive to fields know that one day these things will be legislated against just as finally cigarettes were...but maybe no day soon, but it's a no brainer there are way too many electric, magnetic and RF fields all in a tiny space...same with the new electric ferry, more sockets and no 'quiet field' zone is not a win
