Circuit Tester in mining

Circuit tester is an important accessory used in the mines. It is used to test the continuity of the blasting circuit. it consists of bus line connected to detonating cable. As a small electric current is applied it passes through the circuit and returns back. incase of no fault it displays ALL OK else it will display the exact hole in which fault exists.
Incase of fault it is rectified and the circuit is tested again, if ALL OK signal is obtained then we go for shotfiring.
