Great advice in that last minute. I hope people who watch this take that as training advice rather than trying to follow this schedule 😂
Haha yeah... This is definitely not a follow along video 😅
Jim's an absolute legend, thank you for putting this out!
He sure is 💪 You're welcome!
That edit of the fall from the spray wall into the egg crack was just beautiful
😅 thanks
Literally
I also really enjoyed that
These portraits on climbers are phenomenal. So good

8:09, nearly spit out my coffee LMFAO
😅
Clicked as soon as I saw, Jim's a legend and such a beautiful video
Thanks Ben!
You forgot the caption "Jim is a trained professional, do not try this at home". I would have died the 2nd day 😮😮
😅 yeah this definitely isn't a follow along routine...
Jimmy’s voice is very charming
Super likeable and relatable chap, Jim is!
Best videography in youtube, once again. Jim also such nice character.

I also like gerky climbing stuff. I have a hold sing by jim pope 💪🏻🔥
Sick video. Jim sounds like such a nice kid and down to earth. Big love ❤

You're welcome 😁
As always quality content! 😁
Thanks!
Such a fantastic video that gets me psyched to train hard!👏👏
Thanks! Glad it got you psyched 💪
Jim, you were 12 or 13 at the first Arch and already teaching me stuff, warming up on my projects and so on. You're not the reason I, for one, do believe a lot in the fact that people come with different skill levels from the start. Sure I was already old and you must have started young, but there's lots of evidence around me that not all those who started at my age are now at the same level, even though they invested the same amount of work etc. And the reverse is also true, not all those who started at your age ended up where you are, despite sometimes equal dedication.
Recognising that some are 'luckier' than others in some areas is not meant to imply they work less.
Look at Janja: I don't think there is something she does more than others, yet she's destroying the field.
Desgranges worked his socks off all his life, and 'only' got one overall title.
Awesome video! Packed full of great advice. Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
Awesome vid 👍
Thanks!
This is my favorite video you’ve done! They’re all incredible but this one was super informative and motivating.
Thanks so much!
Nice video! Super interesting! ❤
Thanks!
this got me so psyched to train super sick video
Thanks! Glad it got you psyched 💪
Jim is the Wedge logo personified. The human Dorito!
Lovely human too, great portrait Sam!
Who’s next!?
Thanks Jules! He sure is 💪 There's some stuff in the pipeline 👌
Such a cool video, just watched it before going to the gym, so now the psyche is high!
Thanks! Have a good session 💪
The gaskins poster 😂
Starting a new training block next week and this really got me psyched. Jeeze what a beast Jim
is!
Hope the training goes well 💪
Sush a great video!!
Thanks!
we want more of these videos
That can be arranged 💪
Man, I'm getting so jelous seeing all those crazy boards! Where I leave is really hard to find a spray walls...Sadly, commercial gyms are failing the more dedicated climbers.
Sick vid! I bet when comp setters see Jim Pope on the roster, they probably steer away from making pinchy routes because it would be unfair for the other climbers😉
Thanks! Haha yeah anything when he can get his thumb involved
Climbing is so wonderful, but the commitment with it can be such a BEAR! Such odd strengths required (fingers) that you can’t get anywheres else. And to top it, it disappears stupidly fast. Climbing always feels like an endless journey.
The face of Mad Magazine is brutally strong 😅
8:07🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely amazing video! Do you do any additional finger training?
Thanks! Jim does do additional fingerboarding, although I'm not sure of the specifics
Nice vid, loved your ascent of Strawberries with the full Gogarth rack for "training'. Height and weight Jim?
Thanks! Jim's around 5'6 and 60kg I think
@@WEDGECLIMBING thanks for the quick reply, so his weighted pull up is damn good and better than most people realise!
those limited editions VSRs are so hot
bruh 6 days on 1 day off
💪💪
I think it’s probably that the ants like the arete because they are snacking on the accumulated hand oils and skin. Haha. Yummmmm
What model are the asics trainers?
"These {runs} are never very long or hard... going pretty slow"
Cut to found footage of someone running for their life 12:36
😅
is his name jim or james
Full name is James 👍
Most climbers think running is no use ,but if you do fartlek ( look it up ) It can raise your dynamic strength. I kid you not.
Where is Aidan, all I care about is him pulling on small edges
He's busy doing just that in Finland 💪
