You’re welcome! Humbuckers on a Gretsch; is this the Streamliner series with the Broadtron pickups? In general Gretsches tend toward the brighter side of the EQ spectrum. If pairing with a bright amp like the AC30 or Matchless for chime, try a ribbon mic as the first port of call. 121 and 160 pulled back 2-3” from the cone centre.
Oh sorry about that. I suspect it’s the fact I’ve connected the POD Go to my USB interface which is connected to my speakers, which is connected to my laptop…I think I inadvertently made a perfect ground loop. I didn’t hear this until I processed the audio in post. I’ll catch it next time!

Your opinion is entirely valid, as are your preferences. As it is with all things, tweaking a preset wrong makes it sound bad. Admittedly and pertinent to this video, not all the mic positions are usable, but having the ability to tweak them is helpful to make adjustments. For due diligence I had to show the entire spectrum of all the settings.
I’ve been watching Headrush videos. I’m more intrigued about the simultaneous vocal/guitar processing and the ability to playback tracks live (occupational hazard as a music director)
Factory reset does erase presets and IR’s, but if you follow the steps from the editor when updating, you create a backup when you initiate the process. After that’s done, load up the backup you just created, and you’re back!
Is it just me or did he never show how to restore the presets? I mean i guess it's pretty easy but it would have made me feel a lot better to see all of his backed up presets being restored.
Oh you’re right! Dad brain forgot to shoot this when my twins were clambering over the freshly factory-reset POD Go. Sorry! I just copied and pasted some of my presets from my external folder. They made it in transit, rest assured!

Hi! Yes, 2.0 still permits editing of the JSON script in presets to unlock more blocks. No trouble doing that at all!

How long does the update take in minutes?
It can take a while depending on your system. Mine took about 20 minutes all-in.

Isn't a headrush about triple the price of a PG? It better sound good

It won’t, it also gives you an option to backup your presets to a file just in ads
