I am from India and believe me, it tastes very good. My wife agrees with me and we prefer it over chicken. In much of Asia and Africa goat meat is commonly eaten.
Consistency is kinda between lamb and beef with a bit of a gamey taste/smell...it's my favorite meat to consume but since it's rare up here in this part of canada and a bit expensive, only have it once in a while.
Goat meat is just not as tender as lamb, but rest is all the same, properties as well, it's just the tender ambience one would be missing while tasting.

Where I live restaurants are not very good until a India/sri lanka cuisine came. Very different but very good tasting dishes. Keep up the good great work grandpa!
