Soulutions :
1- clear data google play services and play store then try again
2- download vpn and choose any country ( not your country ) and try again.

The issue is that I removed my google account and now the account is not being added.
I removed my google account, as I opened security settings of the account on my laptop and found that my account was open on multiple devices. As a security measure, I removed it from all devices except the laptop I was working on.
However, this not only removed my account from my cell phone (a samsung ON7 phone of 2016), but also caused all my signed in google apps on that phone to start malfunction one by one. I say malfunction, because sometimes they would work as well before hanging up. Most serious problem was (and still is) that Google PlayStore doesnot sign in.
I tried removing cache from Google PlayStore, removing data from Google PlayStore, Resetting Permissions for all apps, uninstalling updates of Google PlayStore, downloading and installing PlayStore from 3rd party website, using Google PlayStore, adding google account from settings / accounts, asking query from official google help etc. Nothing has worked. NOTHING.
I dont know now whether should I burn this phone or what.

I have been on this for almost 2 weeks. I tried what you said but in my case at 2:40 to 2:45, I clicked on "skip" and every attempt to login ends with "Something went wrong. Sorry, Something went wrong there, Try again". how do I resolve this? how do I go back to 2:40 to 2:45 so I can click on "Yes, I'm in". Also, there was an android restart on my phone which put me in the problem and ended up deleting all the content in my files, documents, pics, audio, videos and contacts. all my back up on whatsapp are not accessible. pls how can I get all the information backup by whatsapp over time restored? kindly assist. tnx

2:38 fill-in email is as far as I get. I did all this and still no change. When I get to this point the window shows for about 10 seconds then it goes back 1 step click sign in again and the same thing happens. I will try to type in my email but after 10 seconds it goes back one step. I need to know how can I add my details to an app that will auto-fill and login for me. Does not solve my issue. After username and password to sign in to google it just goes back and ask me for those credentials over and over without doing anything else. When trying to delete the Google account from accounts in my phone, Google account does not shows up.
