I installed an anti lift device on my patio door, plus one of those alarms. Not sabre though, the ones i found are loud! But i also installed security film on all my glass down stairs as well. Reinforce the glass itself if you have the budget. My next step will be to have all the windows and patio door replaced with the new security glass now being offered. Hope this helps
Thank you for the demonstration 👌🤝👏👏👏 It was short but everything that you did was concise and practical to learn 🤗 from the noise from the alarm Is audible radius 20 metres 👌 The alarm package is $ 15 dollars a small investment and worth replacing once a year 🤗👌👏
Thank you. I'm fixing to move into an apartment that has one and it's on the first floor. I'm terrified and it's rough in this city. 😢 Thank you so much. If I could afford an alarm system I would. If its $30 a month or less I could manage.
The suggestions in this video are practical and CHEAP. These, ( and a firearm, if you can ) should have you sleeping like a baby at night ! The bar is less than two dollars, the screws less than that, and the glass alarm he said was about ten bucks for two of them. REALLY, how can you beat the cost?
Need to check a TH-cam video to adjust the sliding screen door. Just need a screwdriver to do that, btw. That sliding door shouldn't be able to lurch out of the track.
I reed the reviews on this product and the comments were this alarm maybe good if you are near the glass but hard to hear if you are away from the alarm. The alarm is low, hard to hear.
Rocky If you have a difficult time hearing an alarm such as this it may be because you have a large house or you spend a lot of time far away from that particular window. In this case I would still use this kind of alarm, but also consider installing a glass break alarm sensor wired into your home alarm system. If a glass break sensor is part of your home alarm system you'd also have to practice keeping you system armed while you are home. I've heard great things about Simplisafe, not endorsing them, but they are very affordable.
Amanda thanks for watching our tip videos. Great question! I bought mine on eBay for a deal around $10 for a 2 pack. Try eBay. If you are not another option is a hardware store. Here is a link from the Home Depot $15 for a two pack. m.homedepot.com/p/Sabre-Window-Glass-Alarm-2-Pack-HS-GA2/205202677?cm_mmc=Shopping%7CTHD%7CG%7C0%7CG-BASE-PLA-D27E-SecuritySurveillance%7C&gclid=CJ764Jvp6M4CFZGBfgodSJUFQQ&gclsrc=aw.ds Stay safe!
The window alarm sticker in the video is "Sabre" available at Home Depot, but there a many brands and types of these available. We recommend searching "glass break window alarm" in Google shopping. Plenty of products there, and good prices!
I don't usually find short vids like this helpful but this actually was. Thanks for sharing your expertise. Cool video; I learned two things!
thank you sir, it was short to the point and easy to understand, not a 10 minute story
Like the other guy. 10 minutes of talk to explain 30 seconds of advice. I HATE that.
First time i heard of the screw above the sliding glass door trick..Thank you Sir!!
Thank you very much for this video. Because it proves you can break into a sliding glass door with a stopper if it has a 6” gap.
Thank you for a concise and very informative dnd helpful video!

Ring is $10/month for active monitoring and the alarm system kit is about $300 to secure all windows and doors in the house.

What are those alarm stickers? Where do you get them?

Laminated glass film is a better option.
Dude, if you got the door sticker alarm online, why don't you post the link? Right now you're just teasing people because I can't find this anywhere.
How do the offenders defeat the latch of sliding glass doors?
Probably a pry bar
Screw driver
