This performance was taken place at The Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm
Shohaz's concert series will showcase nine Baluchi traditional songs, each belonging to a different Baluchi scale and falling under the song style "Sout." My hope is that those songs can give primarily curious musicians a simple first step to familiarity with Baluchi music tradition and Baluchi music structure. I hope those songs can attract more listeners to research and discover this musical treasure.

About Artist
Rostam Mirlashari is educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and is perhaps best known as “Prince of Balochi music” and vocalist in the multi-cultural group Golbang. He has taken a rich music tradition from his hometown of Balochistan in southeast Iran, which he developed in harmony with other traditions in his various bands. The unique voice and the inner expression are his signum.
