Same as the 4th down play that end up working out earlier in the game. He definitely has a lot of faith in his quarterback. If it works out, you’re a genius.
I dont think McDermott is a bad coach, he’s just not built for Head Coach. He’s a defensive coordinator at best. We need a Head Coach with a winning mentality who will make those bold decisions for the team.
Whoever allowed Josh Allen back in the game after his obviously seriously fall should be held accountable not for the game loss but for endangering a team player more than he already had been.
Hey Jake - huge Chiefs fan here been subscribing for a couple years now. Bills will be fine in the long run. I think they’re clearly in the running for best team in the AFC. Yeah hes made a couple boneheaded decisions over the years but every coach does at times. I think McDermott is better than anyone else out there. Better to stick with him than start over. Good luck to buffalo the rest of the way. I’ll be out there for the Chiefs game in November, hope to run into you. Keep up the great content sir!
Hey - thanks for coming back to the channel again! Your fanbase has always been great to me, although KC always gets the best of us in the playoffs. McDermott has proved he’s good enough to get us to the playoffs, but I seriously question his ability to beat a team like the Chiefs when it matters. We’ve been so close, and it’s partly been his decision that has prevented us from getting by ya’ll even once. You’ve gotta DM me on IG @billsbunker or on my Facebook page!!! I’ll be at the game and I’d love to meet up. Stay tuned for more content on the way. I’m live streaming during Chiefs vs Saints tonight!
That was a ridiculous series of play calls for sure. I’ll also add that I think letting Allen go back in that game wasn’t a good look for the Bills or the NFL in general. He was obviously knocked out cold and in my opinion should never have been let back in that game. I’m a Chiefs fan and if Mahomes went down like that I would want him to be kept out for precaution.
He kind of reminds me of Marty chokenhiemer good coach untill the time comes to have a feel for the game in tense or do or die situations, always makes the wrong call.
There is a pattern over the years but its important to take it game by game. However, If the Bills, lose the next game to a team that just fired their coach then I think their is a huge problem within that Bills coaching staff.
It’s not even just that we threw it 3 times, it was the TYPE of throws as well. All low percentage throws. I agree though bro. I think we’ve hit a plateau with McDermott.
The questions then become: - Who do you replace him with? - When do you make the move? Making a move in the middle of the season could be detrimental to the success in Buffalo, as it would be a setback to learn a whole new playbook and scheme in season. Who is a whole other question… do you try to pull Bill in? A new guy? Someone internally? That’s a whole other thing that we’ll discuss if any move is made, but it doesn’t appear to be imminent.
IF McDermott is let go, Ben Johnson, the offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions, seems to be the favorite to replace him. Rumor last year/this summer is he wanted the Buffalo Head Coach job.
What infuriates me is that this has been a major issue for three seasons now and nobody has been talking about it. the best quarterback in the league is being completely wasted on this team, its devastating to watch year after year.
Man as an Eagles fan I could only wish we had a coach like McDermott and Josh Allen as QB (still love Hurts). You guys are blessed, so don't be disheartened.
Wow, you sure are a diehard fan, Jake! 😁 The problem is that you can count on one hand the number of NFL coaches who can take a team to the Super Bowl. The Bills are second to the Chiefs in wins over the last five years. Two losses, however ugly, do not make a coaching career. McDermott is still by far the best option.
I’m definitely a diehard fan! I understand your perspective, and I like McDermott… I’ve consistently bought in. But what about the consistent playoff letdowns? You have to wonder what an offensive minded coach could do with Josh Allen. He’s not getting the help he needs to elevate the team to a Super Bowl win. If McDermott leads the team to a ring I would be as happy as any Bills fan out there, but I would be surprised as well.
McDermott was his best when he had daboll with him. McDermott just isn’t that guy. If daboll was still with buffalo he woulda never allowed Allen and diggs to fall apart. McDermott time is up. He got lucky with the stars but those stars are carrying him and he is holding them back. If the bills want a ring he has to go. Daboll shoulda been the head coach.
Sean seems like a decent coach but when there's opportunity for a great win he chokes it away making a weird play call or decision. I had hope in him but idk anymore after allowing Allen to play after that play that messed him up a bit. The win isn't worth our QBs health and they seemed to disregard it.
We appreciate what McDermott has done for the team, but, a ceiling is a ceiling. Once a ceiling has been reached you have to find someone with either a higher ceiling or who is willing to at least try to break through the ceiling.
If McD is fired mid season, who is out there that would be a good replacement? Bill B? No. There’s a reason why only 1 team interviewed him and he didn’t get the job. I’ve been on the McD/Beane train since they got here. However, I’ve decided this year is it for me. They made moves this draft and this preseason to make this team what they want it to be. You can only say it’s a rebuild year for so long. Their decisions, especially with free agents have not worked out, as of yet. It’s still early in the season yet to talk about a coaching change. I’m confident we will make the post season, as we have with McD. But if we lose in the playoffs again, it cements what many are saying-McD has hit his ceiling and can’t get us into the Super Bowl. So for me, it’s win the Super Bowl this year, or the organization needs to make a decision on McD/Beane. This season is on them.
I think McDermott is an excellent coach who built a top notch team, but has taken them as far as he can … time for the next man to pick up reigns and go that next step …
Yes it is time he can't get it to the big dance can't beat the good teams unlikely if they do make a coaching change it'll be the end of the year but don't hold your breath
Josh Allen keeps this up him and Tua gonna need to retire together. 2 concussions in 2 weeks. He was obviously concussed from the ravens game that’s why he played so horrible lastnight. I can’t believe they let our best player back on the field and probably cost us the game because he obviously wasn’t ok. We don’t need Allen to turn into a Tua.
I think way too much changed for the Bills all at once and Brady was in over his head. His attempts with creative plays are awkward and I’m noticing a lot of players not in the best position for their skill sets. Sean oversees but can’t do Brady’s work for him. I think Brady needs more attn first
How does having a different cosch wearing the headset affect the 13 second game? thats just Mahomes and Co. The last playoff game? wide right is exactly what should happen to Buffalo. different coach doesnt change that miss. Honestly if Buffalo thinks they can do better than Mcd with coaches available now.... by all means, see how that works out 😅😢
The roof always comes crashing down on the Bills in close games because he just does not have a knack for clock management or calling the right defense as committed in the infamous 13 Seconds debacle. Like a robot made of steel but with feet of clay. And for Heaven's sake, get rid of those gimpy white uniforms.
Clock management Continues to be a problem for McDermott still sick of it him and bean need to go and where the hell where wrs at u bring in Samuel dont use him Hollins he's garbage and coleman where's he been idk hate being a bills fan sometimes gotta win Monday night no questions go bills
Sean has to go and he needs to take Joe Brady with him bill BELICHECK is out there he loves josh Allen he’s won 7 super bowls lost a few BUT THE THING IS HE GETS HIS TEAMS TO THE BIG GAME!!!! I dnt believe in the process anymore sorry Sean!!!! You gotta go. GO BILLS 🦬🔥🦬🔥🦬🔥🦬🔥🦬🔥
Well that's SEAN MC. DIRTMUT's STANDARD. AND WE ALL KNOW THE STANDARD IS THE STANDARD. THANK YOU TOILET PAPER TERRY PIGULA FOR THE BILLS & SABRES SHITTING THE BED.
What are your thoughts on Coach McDermott??
3:04 that play was very frustrating
Same as the 4th down play that end up working out earlier in the game. He definitely has a lot of faith in his quarterback. If it works out, you’re a genius.
You can't let good players leave and expect to be good
I dont think McDermott is a bad coach, he’s just not built for Head Coach. He’s a defensive coordinator at best. We need a Head Coach with a winning mentality who will make those bold decisions for the team.
@@MiStarGalaxy reminds me of Mike Vrabel.

Time for a new coach. Thank you Sean
Hire Bill Belichek!!!
That would be something... Wouldn't it???
McDimwitt should have been fired after the 13 Seconds game. The Bills have been reaping the failure ever since.
How about instead of blaming the coach you blame all of the receivers who drop balls defenders who didn't make tackles etc
That's true, too. It's a combination of all of it.
If only they had a dynamic WR that could shake loose and catch more reliably. Maybe someone like Stephon Diggs
It’s not even just that we threw it 3 times, it was the TYPE of throws as well. All low percentage throws.
I agree though bro. I think we’ve hit a plateau with McDermott.
McDermott has to go! Keeps making 💩💩💩💩💩 decisions under pressure! Your content is top tier!
Thanks for sharing your opinion, and I appreciate the support! Go Bills!
Fire beane too. He blew the draft and these free agent signings
Yeah he definitely needs to go. But who would replace him I wonder. But go bills

Sean McDermott, you have failed this city.
Not tryna be harsh, but it is a fact that the city deserves failure.
"It's on me, I take full responsibility." we will learn from out mistakes......... the problem is he never learns.
Everyone makes mistakes and all this drama will only hurt the buffalo bills. They can still fix and go win a superbowl
Sean seems like a decent coach but when there's opportunity for a great win he chokes it away making a weird play call or decision. Do you think is Josh Has concussion
According to McDermott, he does not.
I believe he did no question
Tom Brady for new Bills coach!
McDermott loses his spine and his mind in close games, especially against AFC contenders.
I think McDermott is an excellent coach who built a top notch team, but has taken them as far as he can … time for the next man to pick up reigns and go that next step …

2 concussions in two weeks for Allen. He might not play to good this week against the Jets either.

How about if we bring back Marv Levy or at the end of the season hire University of Georgia head coach Kirby Smart.

Josh typically puts the team in positions to win in the close games (not in Week five) and it’s his surroundings letting him down.

Telling it as I see it
Hes like an abusiveve wife, just to blind to let go
Can you say Belichek
I agree Too bad Andy Reid not available.
If Allen was with Andy Reid he would have multiple rings by now.
