- Today we're back in Scrap Mechanic for some more Hide and Seek! I found an awesome fort map to play on and sure enough kAN found a crazy spot to try and get his revenge on Scrapman from a few weeks ago! The best play testers out there. I'm not sure how you're all so good at finding the 5% and holes in the floor (and ceilings...), but there they are hahah
Lots of stuff out there that ya missed, some really unique hiding spots; you were even messing with the biggest one in the sewers.
Glad that at least the comments recognize the map! :P
Once again defeated by rebellious spirits who seem to find every way to escape, I will now really have to kAN-proof every map edge from here on in..
Nothing is kAN-proof to a sufficiently talented (and vindictive) kAN.

havent played tf2 in years but I KNOW THAT DAMN BRIDGE.
Have you put a copy of this map on the workshop as a blueprint? I was trying to find one about 2 years ago and all the ones on the workshop were pretty bad, I ended up making and uploading my own. Mine is also, admittedly, not great, however, and yours looks quite good.
The lack of recognition that this is Two Fort from TF2 is shocking

We loved when we could see the perspectives of all three of you;
Having to imagine what's happening to the others while the main one keeps staring into a wall gets boring fast
They should at least allow eachother to post the funny/interesting/OP POVs as shorts
Or they could set up so that the person whose choice of map it is uploads a video with the searcher being the big picture once they start hiding, with the hiders being picture-in-picture on two of the corners of the screen. But yeah, would be nice to see the perspective of everyone. They could've even made unlisted videos of their different recordings that is linked from the person whose choice of map it was. So only by going to the other peoples videos would people be able to see where to see the other POVs
It's probable that the file transferring is just a lot of work for them. I suggested using Discord streaming. For example, if Kosmo is hiding and kAN is seeking, kAN streams on discord. During that, Kosmo shows himself hiding, and a Pic-in-pic of the discord stream. Kosmo only has a little bit of extra editing to do while eliminating all transferring.
I assume they have Discord Nitro, so it should be a decent quality stream
Once upon a time, they did just do 1 map for all 3 of them. But I assume to help get each other more views, they did it their current way. But I do agree with you.
Bruh, *I* dont even play TF2 and *EVEN I* realized it was Two Fort within the first *FIVE SECONDS* of seeing the map
Context: haven't played it, but have watched *A LOT* of gameplay, enough to recognize the maps at least

YES!!! I was thinking about how I wish I could see the other prospective. They could even all record their prospective and just post them in one video (switch between prospective as needed)
I think the reason they stopped doing that was because most people were only watching one version, and not going to the other channels

Feel you should each record all the maps then pass the footage to whoevers video it is, could have some great editing opportunities
Have none of them ever played TF2? Like this is obviously one of the most iconic TF2 maps, but no mention of it AT ALL, and complete surprise at several of the map features, like the tunnel system and such
It's the iconic map from the team fortress mod in quake 1, originally.
Perfect timing on the upload, I literally just finished watching Kan's.
I wished they all recorded their perspective so that they can have clips from different perspectives when something happens, I know it's a lot more work and a bit of an inconvenience but it would be way funnier imo

I feel like kAN's spot wasn't good enough to be revenge for ScrapMan's spot. kAN needs to continue his search for the most evil of evil spots.
I'd recommend doing seeker's view videos, but that'd probably be too much hassle

You guys should let eachother post shorts of funny/OP/interesting POVs from the host's games... the host is the only one to post a full length video, but attendees can post select shorts

It might be a good idea if everyone recorded all the maps so the other perspectives could be used for things like the last round. Not saying you have to, but it is something to think about. 🙃
I'd love to see some more Grenade Spleef if I'm honest.
What about taking some of the older MM chalenges and re trying them? Everyone picks a challenge to re create possibly? Maybe throw in a twist or keep them the same.

I enjoy there hide and seek Multiplayer mondays,. Have you guys considered doing two rounds of each map? I'm sure there are still a lot of hiding spots that could have been interesting.
(as I say that, I realize ya'll be playing 3 maps per week, but still my question stands. play 6 times. LOL)
It wouldn't be as fun for them to play 2 times, and it wouldn't be as enjoyable for us (viewers) to watch a 2nd game. Its fun for them and enjoyable for us to watch bc they are trying to compete against one another while none of them have map knowledge. Them not knowing anything about the map is what creates a lot of the enjoyable content, high seeker times, the seeker mindlessly walking around bc they swear there is a hiding spot bc they saw a hider or spuds while giving a hint but they just cant seem to find the switch. They swear that one of the hiders is in this hiding spot... the seeker is just wasting time looking for a way to open a hiding spot....that doesn't exist. Yeah, those funny moments wouldn't ever happen in a 2nd game bc they would have the map knowledge and map experience to know there isnt a spot there but they already know what spot the hider is in just based on the recent audible hints. That's a big part of it.
Being clueless when it comes to knowing the map layout leads to alot of laughs, a lot of wasted time and entertaining videos. If all of a sudden all 3 players have map knowledge, know where most if not all of the hiding spots are, have a decent understanding of the map layout, then it changes the game and the content completely.
Just like all the time Kan spent trying to find his way into the server room where ScrapMan was hiding, wouldn't have been wasted if they played 2 games.
Playing a 2nd game would be pointless unless they had 2 maps each (6 maps total). Which is basically saying you want 2 videos, mixed into 1 video, each Monday.
Playing 2 full games on each map would not be as enjoyable to watch as you think they would be.
Only way it would be enjoyable is if, and only if, they played on huge maps where they could use hiding spots that none of the players knew existed, unfound hiding spots.

That's a lot of extra editing, which is a lot of extra time spent of the video, when what they post is already good enough as it is.
