Yes, thank you. I will be making these. I want something new for holiday decorating this year. I have so much STUFF and don't want to spend any more money. I have ribbon on hand and really really love these! :)
I love pointsettias!!! Yours came out so good and you make it look so easy! I loved being part of this challenge and seeing what everyone else came up with!
Pam, these are so pretty.. I am definitely hitting up Costco now. I love your display and I am going to make some for my Mother's house. She adores poinsettias.
Pam these are absolutely beautiful! This was such perfect timing as I was just watching another video before yours, and the gal was putting blue poinsettias on her tree, so I started thinking 🤔 there’s got to be a cheaper way to make those beautiful poinsettias, instead of buying them. And then a few videos later, I see you showing how to make them 😃🙌🏻! I am so thankful for your video, I want to run out right now to Costco to get some Christmas ribbon! The price of that spool of ribbon is the price of 1, maybe 2 poinsettias from a craft store! And your instructions were so clear and precise, I feel like I can make them without watching over and over like other TH-camr videos lol. Thanks again for showing how to make these, I am so excited to make them and embellish them! 😊🎄
Thank you so much, Lisa, for your kind words! I am so glad that you found this video helpful. I was a bit worried about the length of the video, but I felt that if I did a voiceover in sped up mode, people would not be able to follow a long very well. I truly hope you do try this DIY - it is very quick and easy once you get the hang of holding the pleated ribbon. I takes about a yard of ribbon per flower (cut @ 7") so you should be able to get around 50 poinsettias from one spool of the Costco ribbon.
I most certainly will try this! My husband and I are having my mother in law a surprise birthday party in December and she loves poinsettias so getting 50 from one spool would be fantastic!! Can’t wait to try this! 😊

The ribbon I showed is 1-1/2 inches. But you could also use a wider ribbon.
