And yes, I've uploaded this before, but the 1st one got age restricted so I'm experimenting with another cheeky lil upload because jo deserves to be seen by all
I've seen a lot of people say Jo looked like she didn't want to be on the show during her run, I think they're just not familiar with her style of comedy tbh
She's the ideal style of "i don't want to be here" contestant - because she still tried and she was still really funny. Something that can't be said for other contestants who didn't even try to get laughs.
Yeah she's been pretty much exactly like this on most panel show appearances through the years so they mustve not been familiar with Jo before taskmaster
@portaldolphin13 Kiell Smith-Bynoe maybe, he literally got angry and salty several times during the show. And then once again during CoC 3 after he got the honor of representing Mae Martin
Jo is an absolute national treasure, don't think any woman, comedian or not, has effectively portrayed the weary disdain of everyday life as well as she does lol
"I *did* know we were doing it against the clock, but I didn't give a fuck!" That's the one I'll always remember when I think about her time on Taskmaster. :D
"I have a lot of joy in my life, just not standing on a bit of fucking wasteland" Definitely one of entries in the Taskmaster Book of Quotes to live by.
I love how anarchic Jo is. The total disdain for the premise not in terms of thinking that Taskmaster is a bad concept, but in her refusal to be invested and to comply with the taskmastering.
As a TH-cam/Overseas viewer, I can honestly say, watching this woman (who avoided motion whenever possible) break the usual taskmaster formula of "posing with the goofy prizes" by RUNNING ONSTAGE WITH A TRASH BIN, and discarding them all - may well be the funniest thing I've ever seen.
I love how Ed laughs at everything Jo says. Having him sat between Jo and David was brilliant and probably needed. On Off Menu she said it was good because he brought her energy levels up but that she also felt exhausted talking to him at times cause he was so enthusiastic 😂
@junbh2 yeah I know... and I still think it was brilliant and probably needed! Although it would've been funny to have him and Rose sat next to each other too - they'd probably be like two siblings in the back of a car haha
There were a lot of moments where she and Ed would just be leaning into each other, giggling their arses off. It's like an excitable nephew with his sarcastic but fun aunt having a great time.
It's a VERY close second to Series 12 (Bridget, Chris, Ardal, Judi, Sophie) and 13 (Alan, Desiree, Victoria, Guz, and Morgana) for me. Really they're all probably tied for my top series! Hard to beat the Wow Monster though.
If it was Jo and Julian Clary on a team, nothing would ever get done becausethey'd convince each other that it wasn't worth it in the grand scheme of things, instead deciding to have a nice sit down and possibly a biscuit
Ahh after greg implied jo was fatter than him and everyone laughed, she said 'can i just go home' and i felt a bit sad that she might have felt a bit sad
I've grown up watching Jo and she's faced a lot of fatphobic 'jokes' in her day and when she's actually bothered, she tears into them, she doesn't get sad, so don't worry
I've always got a limerick in my back pocket ready to go. A lemon, an orange, and a lime Were looking to have a good time. They went to the circus, And were told: No Citrus! But stone fruit and grapes are just fine.

Why would they age restrict Joe man, she's the best contestant.
@JOLT_x3 probably my fault for originally titling it something like "jo not giving a fuck" 😂
@@Isthisastep ope, that'd do it, accurate title though.

A lot of people forget it's a comedy show. The point is not to be the best, it's to be funny.
@@rosswilkinson9095 who is this referring to lol

honestly Jo "can't be arsed" Brand and David "completely incompetent" Baddiel being a team is just... chef's kiss!
David 'completely incompetent' Baddiel doesn't just describe his TM appearance either lmao
Didn't they make a cup of tea during a timed team task as well?
"oh good god it's David Baddiel" will never not be funny to me

Jo is an absolute national treasure, don't think any woman, comedian or not, has effectively portrayed the weary disdain of everyday life as well as she does lol
She and Alison Hammond are two halves split
I aspire to be everything she represents
I just love that Jo didn't even finish the snake, what a woman
"I *did* know we were doing it against the clock, but I didn't give a fuck!"
That's the one I'll always remember when I think about her time on Taskmaster. :D
It's this and the live task whereshe proved she was psychic
Mine is “we have a system, but we’re not using it”.
@@SennaAugustus That was brilliant, I forgot about that one 😊

She's so good at being rude - i really admire it.

everything out of this woman's mouth is iconic but i also really enjoy
"how long do you think she's going to take?"
"...i don't live with her"

I always liked the laminator/horse task. I loved how everyone else was reacting to jo's guesses
Well, it was seriously impressive and statistically unlikely.
I love how Ed laughs at everything Jo says. Having him sat between Jo and David was brilliant and probably needed. On Off Menu she said it was good because he brought her energy levels up but that she also felt exhausted talking to him at times cause he was so enthusiastic 😂
The seating is just luck (alphabet) but sometimes it works out really well
@junbh2 yeah I know... and I still think it was brilliant and probably needed! Although it would've been funny to have him and Rose sat next to each other too - they'd probably be like two siblings in the back of a car haha
Aww that’s adorable
There were a lot of moments where she and Ed would just be leaning into each other, giggling their arses off. It's like an excitable nephew with his sarcastic but fun aunt having a great time.
When watching the series for the first time I said "Jo and Ed both feel like they were designed for Taskmaster in completely opposite ways"
I do adore how Jo’s effort is so real for how the challenge stakes are just for a show
“I’ve been talking for nine minutes?!” is like an all-timer Taskmaster line for me
crazy that this video got taken down by Avalon in the middle of me watching it, despite the video being out for a few months beforehand
Jo is so delightfuly unhinged!
And her Laminater/Horse performance is LEGENDARY
I completely lost it when the group tried to "close his mind" 😂😂😂
this laminator task sometimes comes back to my mind like an unsolved mystery
Ed finds her absolutely hysterical and it's a joy to watch ❤😂
Jo Brand still has to be a top 3 contestant for me. The lineup on this series was probably the best there ever will be.
It's a VERY close second to Series 12 (Bridget, Chris, Ardal, Judi, Sophie) and 13 (Alan, Desiree, Victoria, Guz, and Morgana) for me. Really they're all probably tied for my top series! Hard to beat the Wow Monster though.
@@TheIrishAlchemist205 Can't say you're wrong with that take :)
I’ve worked with lots of people like Jo brand. Crusty on the outside. Funny and subtly clever. Nurses are a good bunch.
I’ll always love Team Bargain Hunt
were Team Bargain Hunt not Nick and Steve? the lovely couple on Bargain Hunt?
I've watched this series a few times and love Jo Brand but seeing it all cut together was hysterical 😂
Jo Brand is amazing. She always makes things entertaining and she doesn't even need to try. lol
The contestant that Alex wishes was never on it apparently
Any reason why?
She is one of my fav contestant! She was so funny omg, I loved this season
absolute legend
a compilation that we needed, thank you ;) So glad that she did the TM
she is the fucking FUNNIEST
I adore her kind of humor 😂
I wouldve liked to see Jo and Julian Clary together, they have a similar cynical energy (and similar voices 🤣)
According to Julian's episode of the official podcast, Jo was the one who encouraged him to accept the offer to go on Taskmaster.
If it was Jo and Julian Clary on a team, nothing would ever get done becausethey'd convince each other that it wasn't worth it in the grand scheme of things, instead deciding to have a nice sit down and possibly a biscuit
I love Jo on taskmaster, she is hilarious, noone can not give a f@€& as well as she can.
Julian had that same withering disdain but his was towards Alex rather than the task/show
My favourite was “guantanamo bay” … didn’t make the cut
XD
Omg. I love her!
Jo Brand reminds me a lot of one of my favourite aunts. A little less of a potty mouth than my aunt though! 😄
😂😂😂this is what we need in American tv
😂😂😂she is genuinely unbothered and I love it!
Ahh after greg implied jo was fatter than him and everyone laughed, she said 'can i just go home' and i felt a bit sad that she might have felt a bit sad
I think she felt guilty because she was maybe a bit too insulting to Greg. She looked a bit upset before he said that.

Why does sheremind me so much of my grandma? 😂
So….What am I looking at here?
A video compilation of a funny woman on a funny gameshow

Yes. I know Jo Brand from other shows.
( Q I ) But this compilation doesn't seem to make sense to me.
@@renzo6490 why not
Jsjsj the show Is taskmaster, you should really watch it, it's chaos incarnate
