You can load it however you like, in whatever order you like. Most of practise is usually spent trying to figure out the best way to carry the cargo and watching how other people load to try and pick up some tips. I did try during practise to put the pool noodle in first, but then it put everything else on top of it off balance and made the load really unstable. It might have been fine had it not been for the cable bridges jolting the cargo though! I may try just stuffing it up my t-shirt next time 🤣
While painful for me to watch back, it's an authentic retelling of the day at least! Maybe I'll start wrapping my bike in bubble wrap for future races 😅
