Uhhh...so are we gonna have a conversation about this Mielle curling custard or what?? Has anyone else experienced this? 😳 Also, remember you can use timestamps to jump around the video!!!
Hmmm. I'm wondering if it's actually the product or if it was just that enough water wasn't added to you hair to stop it from drying on your strands vs soaking in... Perhaps try on soaking wet hair vs damp hair🤷♀️
Agreed. Also, I wonder if you'd get the same results if you used just the leave-in and custard. The instructions mention either using the leave-in plus custard or leave-in plus the smoothie but not all 3 together.
Yeah this is definitely 4A and I love it. I have 3C/4A that's mostly 3C, so I can see the difference. I also see a lot of videos where girls put 4A but their hair is 3C/4A. So it's nice to see someone with 4A. Your hair is gorgeous! Amazing curls.
I got good results but the flaking ruined it 😩. Washed my hair out after a day of wearing the wash and go. And you're right, I'm pretty sure the sculpting gel was the cause of it. I returned it immediately.
IKR!!!! The products are so good but that falling is ridiculous! I’m going to try the gel again without the extra steps to see what happens. Thank you for sharing your experience 🤗❤️
@@jaichanellie I kept the hair smoothie and leave-in conditioner though. There are very moisturizing to my hair. Plus they mix well together when I did the test. When I included the custard though, the mix clumped up like cottage cheese so I can definitely say that custard is trash. I'd love to see a video if you try it again and it works out. Try The Doux Mousse Def. Just did a wadh and go with it today and it's looking good so far 👌🏽.
Please what about on low porosity please 4a hair. Anyone can help ? Please Only conditioner not shampoo? Init ? Please Looking forward to reading you I thank you in advance
The LOC method can also work on low porosity hair, but you just have to be conscious about the oil you pick! You should always shampoo no matter what hair porosity you have. This video really helped me A LOT th-cam.com/video/w376dvTM7Ow/w-d-xo.html
@@AnimeMaddness222 I don’t know if you already know but here are some tips for low porosity hair: 1. Hair milks usually work better than butters because they’re lighter than creams/butters. Low porosity hair doesn’t do well at absorbing thick creams. 2. The LCO method works better because you won’t have cream sitting on top of your hair, which can be very drying. 3. Shampoos will probably work better for you than co-washing 4. You don’t have to but steaming your hair every now and then is recommended so moisture can penetrate. 5. DEEP condition as you see fit
Ughh I just loved this review😍💗🙌🏽 This was soo informative especially for my being high porosity😩 I was about to seriously give that whole line a go TILL i saw the ending and was like holdup...💀 Soo I guess I’ll be overall avoiding that custard cause many other people have said they had gotten flakes from it as well😂🤦🏽♀️
I’m so glad you enjoyed it 🤗🤗🤗 Yes Ive heard the same thing from other people about the custard and I’m not sure why it wouldn’t marry perfectly with the other products in the same line 🧐 Definitely something to be aware of!
4A ,medium density high porosity girl here .After I dyed my hair I became high and the most overrated comment I hear js that high porosity hair loves protein ny hair does not at all.

Thank you so much! I know EXACTLY what you mean, I see the same thing especially with ppl who have majority 3C hair. Glad this helped 🤗
I definitely noticed this trend as well or they'll just call themselves type 4. I've been wondering why that is.
@@cmw1336 I’m honestly not sure if they don’t know or just wanna be considered type 4
Im glad I found your channel. We have similar hair textures and I really like the way you used then products. Will try for myself!
Your hair turned out great! I’ve heard of them but has never used their products.
Delanaka ooh I’d definitely start with the leave-in, it’s amazingggggg 🤩
JaiChanellie ok I will. Can I mix it with eco? My hair don’t do well nor last long without eco or wetline extreme gel 😩
Delanaka Idt I’ve mixed it with a true gel before...I’ll have to try it out on a slick bun or on the back of my hand
I would like to see you do a wash and go whitout gel please 🙂
will do! Any particular products you wanna see me use or just no gel?
@@jaichanellie just no gel😁 but if you can review the african pride moisture miracle curling cream, it'll be nice🤍

I tried using them but the products just sat on top of my hair no matter what I did. With and without heat.
Phylicia wow really?! What’s your hair porosity?
@@jaichanellie low porosity
Phylicia that was my guess lol. What products work for you?

Me I don't understand
I have 4a but 3c too I guess
But the product tighten my 3c
If a product appears to tighten your curls that usually means it’s just waking up the elasticity you already have in your hair!
We have 3c 4a hair.... it will look more 3c if it qasnr dir the high porosity
My hair is pretty much 4a, i only have a couple of looser pieces in the front of my head that I’d consider 3c
Her hair is definitely 4A. Mine is 3C/4A (mostly 3C) and is looser than hers.

I hear that a lot too, it definitely varies person to person. My hair doesn't love it either but I don't mind it every now and then
