Fr, I live in Milford so like I am kinda close to it and fr it’s so fun to go when my mom is at work or something over the summer. But going alone is kinda boring so I always bring my aunt, brother, or friends lol.
I’m not saying what city I live in in order to not risk doxxing myself but I do live in ohio and I agree kings island is amazing. The racer is probably my favorite so far (I haven’t been on the beast or mystic timbers due to line time)
Fun fact! Banshee is featured on mystic, though in a very obscure way. The truck next to the entrance plays a radio track. "she let out a piercing scream. It echoed all across the area." Also the segment is called "the screaming woman". Audio from the truck: th-cam.com/video/fL9qNgGMJt0/w-d-xo.html Banshee segment is 16:00-17:10 then 18:40-20:20
Yeah. It's not quite Cedar Point, but, like Hershey ;) it's really close. And this year at least because of COVID it was actually better bang for buck since CP's line system was crazy inefficient if you're an enthusiast.
When I was young, my family would go to KI every summer. I remember being so proud when I was finally brave enough to ride The Beast. It's still my favorite coaster of all time, even though I now live an hour away from Cedar Point.
“A whole UFO” or half with a mirror... 😄 Amazing video dude! Love the Holy Grail clip. And agree with majority of your opinions. Beast at night in the front row is 5x better than day rides. Can’t wait for you to get a night ride on it!
Hahaha crap I guess you're right 😂 And thank you so much! Holy Grail's a classic, had to include it. And me too, I'm sure a night ride will boost it up in my rankings.
Great list my friend! I have to say, I've always loved Adventure Express. It may not be the fastest or have the most loops or anything, but as you said, theming goes a long way to make the ride better. From the temple ruins and abandoned mines, to the queue line set up like a train station, complete with recordings asking for information on missing expeditions, and tracks closed due to rock slides/native attacks. Simply great! One other thing I wanted to mention, about Flight of Fear, one thing I loved was how the queue line was separated from the disembarking platform by a wall, so while waiting in line, you'd see trains taking off full of passengers, but returning with riders having "mysteriously vanished" or having been abducted, sticking with the alien theme.
Also, if you liked Mystic Timbers, I'd say head down to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and give Verbolten a whirl if you haven't already. It's themed around a drive on the Autobahn through the Black Forest, and has a surprise about halfway through that was unique to any other coaster I've been on.😀
Yes totally agree about Adventure Express, well said! And honestly I just thought the same thing about the flight of fear at Kings Dominion, such a funny little gimmick.
My first time going to Kings Island was the year Diamondback opened, and I was 9. My family got passes for I think the next 8 years or so, then we've all had super busy schedules over the summer. A lot of rides at Kings Island were my first of their type. Stunt Coaster was my first launch, Racer was my first woody, The Bat was my first suspended, and Flight of Fear was my first inversion. I live about equidistant from Cedar Point and Kings Island, but for some reason I've always liked Kings Island more, despite Cedar Point having what I believe is the best collection of coasters in the world. Cedar Point can sometimes be intimidating, you have so much to do, and generally one or two days to do it. If you go on a good day you can get ride the all the notable credits in one day, but with Kings Island any non-holiday weekday will keep you under an hour total in wait times. My parents used to drive us all down to Kings Island for a few hours when they got off work, which is something I don't think would work with Cedar Point. As for the list, Banshee is definitely better than Diamondback no cap. That last inversion on Banshee is one of the nuttiest things I've ever experienced. Diamondback is good, but there's no point that warrants a "what the fuck is happening" on the first ride. Just got Orion in a couple weeks ago and it definitely fits at number one in the park.
Thanks fore the backstory, totally makes sense. Cedar Point is definitely overwhelming and basically impossible to do it in one day without a fast lane. Kings Island is also such a beautiful park, so I definitely see why your family leaned towards going there instead. Fair point with Banshee! It certainly has a bunch of WTF moments 😂
Earlier than the Paramount days, King Cobra was there when I was a child, and kiddie land was called "Hanna Barbera Land"... I miss Witch Hazel's Spinning Cauldrons and The Beastie.😥
Orion is one of those rides that you can make it even more fun by doing simple things, the wave turn is so cool if you look down at the ground during it
I enjoyed the list! I just went so here is my ranking: 14. Great Pumpkin- Didn’t ride it 13. Woodstock Express- Really cramped cars and a somewhat painful ride. 12. Flying Ace Aerial Chase- A bit smoother than previous ride. 11. Well themed for sure and a fun night ride, but not the most interesting layout of mine trains. Better mine train than others but just decent. 10. The Bat- Pretty intense and good setting but feels short and is only a bit better than Iron Dragon for me. 9. Backlot- Awesome theming and a few pretty intense moments. The indoor section is oddly the least thrilling part. 8. Invertigo- Not rough at all for me and a pretty forceful boomerang. One of the best boomerangs overall. 7. Racer- Worse version of American Eagle, but the first half has killer airtime. 6. Flight of Fear- Very inconsistent in terms of smoothness and pacing, but a very fun launch coaster and probably better than the outdoor versions. 5. The Beast- A night ride is something else and the second half actually scares me with its speed. Sadly, the park is open at daytime and thus I must judge off both rides, and day is not quite as special but still phenomenal. 4. Banshee- Perfectly smooth for me and the sweeping speed and hang time is legendary. Probably the best B&M invert and I love that model. 3. Orion- 3 and 2 are close. Orion has great first drop and speed hill. I love it and have no issues with it, but I like others more. 2. Diamondback- Better airtime and length and just a wonderful experience. 1. Mystic Timbers- A truly elite ride with insane pacing and airtime. Easily the top dog.
same i live right behind kings island in kings mills. but i disagree wit top 3, i go 3. mystic 2. orion 1. diamondback then i would have beast barely behind mystic
Love that mystic timbers was so high on the list. My daughter's and I go to the park weekly. But my youngest is not tall enough for banshee/Orion/diamond back. So we ride mystic a lot since my youngest is a thrill junkie. Despite riding in 20+ times this year, I still have a blast every time. It's such a great ride. The first hill is awesome and the air time is great. It's also surprisingly smooth
My good ol home park, just went there with a buddy on a trip back to see my mom. Orion definitely made me grey out all three rides on that helix, and crazy enough it took my phone on the first ride of the day only to have KI call me in the morning and tell me not only did they find it but it doesn't have a scratch! Miracles do happen!! 👍🤘 Love the list, keep up the great coaster videos!
The 13, 11 and 10 year old kids just got their first ever major theme park experience at King's Island and I worry that coasters are ruined for them forever now. Such a great coaster line-up.
Once I was in line for the beast after the park closed at 10, and the ride broke down but we were alowed to wait in line for it to be fixed, so I got an 11:30 night time ride on the beast, one of the best expiriences of my life
Similarly I was at the park with some of my extended family when they went for the first time and the park was open till midnight. My god that was the most insane night ride I’ve had on Beast, let alone anything else.
@@Tvtv-ht8bd They used to close at midnight pretty frequently pre-covid. They actually had a midnight closing around July 4th this year, but it was like 1 night at most...
I haven't ridden The Racer in 20 years. But I remember the lap bar smashing down on my legs so badly, it hurt and I couldn't enjoy the ride. Plus it shakes a lot. I was surprised it was in your top ten.
Bruh, you deserve so many more subs than you do. I really enjoyed the video and the rankings and I’m so excited to go on Orion for the first time this summer :)
I enjoyed the video and glad you enjoyed KI. I’ve been going here as long as I can remember and I never realized how great this park is until I went to Kennywood
I got to experience Kings Island’s coaster for the first and second time this month, since the only other time I’d been to the park was when I was a toddler; and oh my god, I’ve had a blast. Riding their coasters is also really helping me get over my fears of them. I rode the beast the first time today and it was so much fun! Also, I’m pretty sure it’s less painful toward the rear end of the beast. I rode in car 13 and I still got a minor headache after riding it, but it caused no pain really other than that. One more thing, (sorry I know this is getting long lol) I’m so glad you also found Mystic Timbers super fun and in your top three!
I’ve had one of the legendary night rides on the beast, we waited 3 hours in line and ended up riding at 2:30 am. I remember turning around after the first hill to watch the light at the top just fade into the woods, followed by a pitch black super rough ride. It was crazy. Diamondback at night was crazier though with that air time making it feel like it’s launching you into space
I just went today. As many theme parks I've been to in Florida and loved, King's Island is my new favorite. You were also spot on with Mystic Timbers, and them hyping up the shed too much. I would honestly swap Diamondback and Orion though. As fun as Orion's drop is, Diamondback lasts longer, has more elements, and even has a splash down at the end. I love them both though. Flight of Fear was crazy. I did not expect 4 inversions with that kind of seating, especially since I thought the ride was in a much smaller building (the queue building that has the UFO). However, when I went on Orion, I saw the launch area and the ride building and was like, "Guess that explains it. 😂" I had a blast, but that was too many rides to go on in one day, so I'll have to come back again soon. Great video!
Hey thanks! Yeah I respect ranking Diamondback over Orion, they're both awesome, and FoF really is crazy how much ride they fit in that building. Thanks for watching!
@@vickieruehrwein7272 I just came back recently and it indeed did go upside down. I I didn’t know it did and basically lost my mind when it did. Still had a ton of fun
This just came up on my recommendations. And I love this list. and I love your channel already. Instant subscribe from me. great coaster clips professional voice and presentation and a little funny stuff too like the spoiler alert. You gonna be big sometime I swear
Going to KI for the first time since SOB's inaugural season 21 years ago in a week-and-a-half. I can't wait to ride all the coasters built since then, the most anticipated being Orion, Diamondback and Banshee, because I've always loved B&M's the best! I loved this video, helping to get me even more pumped for my trip!!!
Great video! I really enjoy going to this park, I’ve had a pass for a few years so I always try to make it at least a few times. And I also enjoyed seeing Mystic Timbers high one the list, it’s such a fun ride, and the moves it makes just feel so good. FoF is one of my top favorites in the park, the theming, the launch and the “ball of track” are so fun. It’s a rush how it throws you around, and the sound it makes at the launch, it’s such a hype in queue. It’s also the only coaster that doesn’t trigger my motion sickness which I can’t understand. :)
Kings island is my home theme park and I love it. I agree with most of the list but I would have put the banshee at number 2. As of the time of writing this I just went to KI yesterday and I loved Vikings fury. Great vid!
Orion is the best ride in the park now. It's amazing and doesn't hurt your back or neck like some of the others can. You just float outta your seat most of the ride.
Finally, someone who loves Banshee for what it is....it’s my favorite invert as well...i honestly think some enthusiasts knock it just to follow suit...Banshee rocks.
Try to get to Kings Island during Halloween. It gets dark earlier. You will get night rides on all 4 of the best! As you probably hear from most of the old folks, Beast cannot be matched for a night ride, although Diamondback comes close! If it is cool enough, you may even encounter some heavy, pea-soup fog on a Beast night ride! Love it! Also, I think a re-ride on Racer after the new track this year might move it up a few spots on your list.
My favorite is also Orion! And I agree with you on mystic timbers it is a very fun coaster and the curved drop makes it unique! My favorite parts of timbers is the drop and when you go over those small bunny hills over whitewater canyon and your butt lifts up out of the seat! Feels like u are in a car going too fast over some hills!
Just went to KI this weekend for Halloween, my birthday, and I haven't been in 12 years. Last time I went Son of beast was still there. I was very surprised by the new coasters and had a great time. I'm glad I live only 30 minutes away from this park :) I have a lot of nostalgia for it.
Fun fact banshee was my first ever roller coaster and I loved it and diamondback and mystic Timbers are also really fun too kings island is incredibly amazing
So I noted how you had a comment about ride ops on racer sometimes being inconsistent with racing. I was a ride operator on racer for 2020 and I’d like to follow up with possibly a few reasons. So if the trains don’t race at all it usually is because we’re going for capacity. We typically aim for 25 or so dispatches an hour and when waiting on the other side it sometimes is difficult to achieve. If a train is taking to long usually the other will simply send to not kill the line. Sometimes this would offset the dispatch rhythm. Also the red train typically takes a decently large early lead because the red side is slightly steeper so it leaves the station faster and then the red lift is also just slightly faster but the trim typically hit more on red as well. Besides that, great video and I love the racer love!
Great video! The wife and I are heading there this Sunday!!! I can't wait!! Which coaster do you suggest to ride first since my wife gets nervous when it come to riding coasters?
@@CoasterJawn Yeah it was a blast. Honestly I liked diamondback more than Orion due to the amount of airtime. Mystic Timbers was my favorite in the park. Banshee was really good but honestly it kind of messed me up for a little bit. Lol. I don't know why inverted coasters seem to do that to me.
3:27 i remember when the previous owners had the park, it actually *was* indiana jones themed lol. i think it also had audio implying you were going to be burned to death by lava, idk if thats still there or not.
I live like 20 min away from kings island and go there ALL the time. It’s the only park I’ve been to. My Number 1 bucket list park is Cedar Point but it’s a little over 3hours away.
I’m really happy I got to ride all of these multiple times cuz we got one of those express bracelet things. I’m pretty sure I got to ride Orion like over 5 times!
I haven't been here since the year invertigo/face off opened (98) so I hope I can get there this summer. So you liked invertigo, but I don't think you ever mentioned if you rode Goliath during your SFNE visit? Also I prefer flight of fear since you can't see anything...jokers jinx made me more dizzy since I could see all around lol.
I rode all of these yesterday :) I love going to kings island. My 8 year old even rode a few with me. She loves roller coasters. Me and my dad rode the banshee three times. If you get a chance to go, GO!
our top 5 is the same except it’s hard to decide between the beast and banshee for me bc my last ride on banshee was really rough for some reason, but i’m going back at the end of this month, our 10-14 are the same too, and the others i gotta go back and re ride to really figure out which i like better
Bro you're awesome! Just subscribed!:) Also, I have a question. What are the best rollercoasters to ride at night-time in your opinion?? (At Kings Island)
Thank you so much for the support! And honestly I couldn't tell you because I unfortunately haven't ridden any of them at night yet. However, from what I've heard Beast gives legendary night rides, and Orion isn't too shabby at night as well. I would also guess that Mystic is cool at night too!
Ranking is pretty similar to mine... minus Orion not being in my top 3 at the park 😬 but overall KI has one of my favourite coaster lineups of all time!
When I wen last Thursday I managed to get 10 rides on Orion. The last ride of the night felt so much faster than it did earlier in the day. I got such intense ejector airtime on the dip at the end. It was so crazy.
what rides do you recommend for one day? wanna ride as many coasters as i can. i was told to do flight of fear and then orion and then not sure after that. is fast pass worth it? what are wait times on the rides
Wow didn't get to experience. Mystic Timbers, but #1 Orion #2 Diamondback #3 Banshee and #4 Flight of fear best 4 coasters to me. The racer was a rough and tumble ride, beat me up pretty good. Didn't get to ride Beast this time because of time, but definitely going back. ORION hang time is insane.
Yeah you def gotta go back! Mystic and beast are awesome, but if you didn’t enjoy racer, you might not love beast either. Orion’s amazing, I can’t wait to go back!
I got the tree on my second ride on mystic timbers! I remember (even the GP) the entire train started cheering lol And I'm not hating on ur opinion but for me personally I have Mystic Timbers as number 3 in the park, Orion as 2, and Diamond back as the best in the park.
I live near kings island, in fact it’s my go to amusement park and has been since I was young. That being said, the beast is still one of my favorites to this day
The shed = The bat was released in 1981 by arrow. Was closed in 84. The vortex sat in its spot. The snake was the cobra. The first stand up coaster with a loop. It opened in 84 and was closed in 2000 I think
@@CoasterJawn yea. Kings island is known for honoring thier defunct coasters. They have a tombstone for son of beast near the banshee que. And even tho they have a ride called the bat. It was just a renaming of the top gun ride when they lost the paramount license. The one in the shed refers to the original

I've grown up with KI, I haven't had the chance to ride Orion, but I love The Beast, night ride is a must, but I personally miss King Cobra, it was a stand up coaster, but I'm a wooden coaster kinda dude, Mystic Timber's is amazing, but I always have to ride The Racer, I do miss when they were running one backwards, it would have been in 1987, I think. Thanks for this video
The beast at night isn’t very scary but almost twice as fun. The best part at night is the second hill where you’re waiting for the drop. A little tip also, if you sit in the middle of a singular car there wont be as much pain
I'm looking forward to most likely going near the end of this month. There are so many that I can't wait to get to! Two questions though: 1. I booked the Comfort Suites Hotel which was relatively cheap and is less than a mile from the park. I heard there's shuttle service to the park from there. Is that true? It'd be nice to save a little bit on parking, and even if there isn't, the walk is still pretty doable. 2. If you book online and don't have a pass, do you have to make the reservation? I don't have a pass to any Cedar Fair parks (Dorney Park is my CF home park, if you're wondering), and could pay at the gate but I know that online is better. Nonetheless, I look forward to going in a couple weeks.
My favorite so far is Banshee! Just rode flight of fear this year though and I enjoy it a lot. Orion, have not worked up the courage to ride it yet! (Acrophobic here) Also my home park.
My ranking is very similar, my top three is different, actually the exact opposite of yours: Orion, Mystic Timbers, Diamondback. It’s my home park and the top three changes all the time but all the time, they’re so close for me!
I live in Cincinnati close to king’s island and I go there all the time I have never ridden a coaster that goes upside down what roller coaster should I ride first Banshee, Invertigo, or flight of fear?
Yeah my first ever coaster at kings island was actually banshee but that was because I was younger and my older stepbrother convinced me. I actually wasn’t that terrified.
As a person who lives close to Mason, I am proud to say that Kings island is absolutely incredible!
Yessss what an awesome home park to have

Once I was in line for the beast after the park closed at 10, and the ride broke down but we were alowed to wait in line for it to be fixed, so I got an 11:30 night time ride on the beast, one of the best expiriences of my life
Wowww that's crazy, must've been extra dark and spooky
Similarly I was at the park with some of my extended family when they went for the first time and the park was open till midnight. My god that was the most insane night ride I’ve had on Beast, let alone anything else.
? They close at 10
@@Tvtv-ht8bd They used to close at midnight pretty frequently pre-covid. They actually had a midnight closing around July 4th this year, but it was like 1 night at most...
@@Queue_Thrills Cool, thanks for letting me know
I haven't ridden The Racer in 20 years. But I remember the lap bar smashing down on my legs so badly, it hurt and I couldn't enjoy the ride. Plus it shakes a lot. I was surprised it was in your top ten.
Oh no! That stinks lol, but yeah I had good rides on it!
It had a retrack in 2021 and it’s amazingly smooth
Give it a chance
so happy to have this my home park
Jealous!
Editing on this is unreal!
Thank you! 😂
So true!!!
This is a FANTASTICALLY accurate list and I'm going again tomorrow I'm definitely gonna be riding Orion first
Thanks so much! Glad you agree, and that's a good idea! Orion;'s line gets really bad.
Bruh, you deserve so many more subs than you do. I really enjoyed the video and the rankings and I’m so excited to go on Orion for the first time this summer :)
Thank you!!! I really appreciate the support! You can help out by subscribing and spreading the word! Also I'm excited for you! Orion is awesome.
Awesome also I subscribed:)
I enjoyed the video and glad you enjoyed KI. I’ve been going here as long as I can remember and I never realized how great this park is until I went to Kennywood
Me too! And yeah I love Kennywood but it doesn't really stack up lol.
Glad you had a great time! Kings Island really is such a fun park to revisit.
Oh man those sound like awesome night rides! Apparently the Beast is running smoother than ever this year too!
Your logo is very creative! Also, I’m glad you Love the park because that’s MY home park!
Thanks! And I'm jealous bc Kings Island is an awesome home park!
I’m going here soon and I’m a big scaredy cat when it comes to coasters. But I really do enjoy them. Thanks for the list! Flight of fear looks fun.
No problem! Hope you have a great time!
be careful it goes upside down but it is a blast
@@vickieruehrwein7272 I just came back recently and it indeed did go upside down. I I didn’t know it did and basically lost my mind when it did. Still had a ton of fun
On the mystic Timbers when me and my sister went in the shed my sister was so scared
It has that effect on some people haha
This just came up on my recommendations. And I love this list. and I love your channel already. Instant subscribe from me. great coaster clips professional voice and presentation and a little funny stuff too like the spoiler alert. You gonna be big sometime I swear
I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. Thank you so much for the support!!!
@@CoasterJawn you're very welcome. I loved the video a lot
Amazing rankings man! Also, solid editing as always
Thank you kindly 🙌
Going to KI for the first time since SOB's inaugural season 21 years ago in a week-and-a-half. I can't wait to ride all the coasters built since then, the most anticipated being Orion, Diamondback and Banshee, because I've always loved B&M's the best! I loved this video, helping to get me even more pumped for my trip!!!
Have fun man!!! The park will be soooo different now. And yeah they're stacked with elite B&M's so you'll love it. Glad the video helped get you hype!
Airtime Thrills brought me here and the video was great! 👍🏼
Ayeee he's a good man, glad you enjoyed!
Yeah Mystic Timbers is elite, I love FoF too, definitely not my favorite but I totally see why you like it so much!
Kings island is my home theme park and I love it. I agree with most of the list but I would have put the banshee at number 2. As of the time of writing this I just went to KI yesterday and I loved Vikings fury. Great vid!
Awesome! What a great home park, and banshee is definitely elite. Thanks for the support!
Great editing in the video, I actually agree with every placement
Thanks! And good to hear I’m not crazy 😂
Good video. My top 5 at KI is
5. The Beast
4. Banshee
3. Mystic Timbers
2. Orion
1. Diamondback
Definitely very close to mine, like I said the top 3 might as well be interchangeable bc I gave them all 9.5’s
Orion is the best ride in the park now. It's amazing and doesn't hurt your back or neck like some of the others can. You just float outta your seat most of the ride.
Totally agree!
Finally, someone who loves Banshee for what it is....it’s my favorite invert as well...i honestly think some enthusiasts knock it just to follow suit...Banshee rocks.
Great minds think alike 🙌
I love Banshee.
I ride Banshee Diamond Back and the Beast over and over. I’m ready to try out Orien
Orion and banshee are tied at first for me.
Wow I REALLY thought Great Pumpkin Coaster would be higher!!! Nothing quite like that 8 foot first drop.
😂😂😂
The insane laterals and sustained ejector on it are insane. Personally it’s in my top 5.
YOU DESERVE 100K dude my favs : racer adventure ex
Thanks so much!!!

Oh good call! Yeah Kings Island seems like a great park to visit in the fall. Beast night rides are simply a must do.
Freaking awesome. Looks like one of the best gigas. Ty
It totally is!
Orion and Mystic are both incredible, and those hills going over the rapids really are a great touch!
Just went to KI this weekend for Halloween, my birthday, and I haven't been in 12 years. Last time I went Son of beast was still there. I was very surprised by the new coasters and had a great time. I'm glad I live only 30 minutes away from this park :) I have a lot of nostalgia for it.
Oh wow! It must've been soooo different, glad you had a great time, I'm jealous of your home park!
@@CoasterJawn it was very different. I'm glad YOU had a great time.
Fun fact banshee was my first ever roller coaster and I loved it and diamondback and mystic Timbers are also really fun too kings island is incredibly amazing
Oh wow! That's an impressive coaster to start off with haha, and agreed, KI has one of the best coaster lineups out there.
I am a new subscriber!
Nice coaster content 🎢😎👍🏻
Thanks so much!!!
Also if you have any questions or want any clarifications just ask and I’ll hopefully respond quickly!
Thank you so much for this explanation! It's nice to have some kings island insider info lol
Great video! The wife and I are heading there this Sunday!!! I can't wait!! Which coaster do you suggest to ride first since my wife gets nervous when it come to riding coasters?
Thanks so much! Sorry I just now saw this, but I hope you two had a great time.
I’m going to Kings island today this is giving me advice on what to ride thanks
Perfect! Happy to help
Update: it was really hot so we went to soak city. I’ll use this channel to see what I want to ride at kings island in the future tho.

Great list

3:27 i remember when the previous owners had the park, it actually *was* indiana jones themed lol. i think it also had audio implying you were going to be burned to death by lava, idk if thats still there or not.
Oh true I think you're right, and it makes total sense bc it feels just like an Indiana Jones movie
The Beast hands down #1, especially at night. One of my favorite coasters of all time
Nice! I can't wait to ride beast at night one day.
I live like 20 min away from kings island and go there ALL the time. It’s the only park I’ve been to. My Number 1 bucket list park is Cedar Point but it’s a little over 3hours away.
Oh nice! Well yeah you definitely gotta get up there! In terms of park distances that's actually not too bad, I say go for it!
I’m really happy I got to ride all of these multiple times cuz we got one of those express bracelet things. I’m pretty sure I got to ride Orion like over 5 times!
Oh nice! Yeah the fast lane plus is really worth it at Kings Island!
This gave me ideas of coasters to ride since um going to kings island
Perfect! Glad you found this vid.
I went to kings island yesterday and I went on Orion for the first time ever and I love that ride it’s my favorite roller coaster now.
That's awesome! Glad you liked it.
I have ridden Goliath at SFNE (RIP) and I actually liked it more than most. And fair point about Joker's Jinx lol
I LOVED backout stunt coaster so much!
It’s a great little ride, really packs a punch.
@@CoasterJawn yeah i rode on it a ton
I rode all of these yesterday :) I love going to kings island. My 8 year old even rode a few with me. She loves roller coasters. Me and my dad rode the banshee three times. If you get a chance to go, GO!
The scariest was definitely Orion
Sounds like a great day! Thanks for sharing.
Totally agree
Orios first drop is bliss. I think Millennium is more forceful but Orion drop just really felt endless.
Yeah Millie was definitely more forceful and more intense, plus I liked both of their drops equally, so it’s def ranked higher than Orion for me
I live close to mason so I go here a lot and it’s a lot of fun :)
Wow! I'm jealous that you live so close!
To me, 1 to 4 and 7 to 10 are pretty interchangeable
1) Banshee
2) Orion
3) Diamondback
4) Mystic Timbers
5) Flight of Fear
6) Beast
7) Racer
8) Adventure Express
9) The Bat
10) Backlot Stunt Coaster
11) Invertigo
12) Flying Ace
13) woodstock Express
14) Great Pumpkin Coaster
Great point, can't argue with that!
our top 5 is the same except it’s hard to decide between the beast and banshee for me bc my last ride on banshee was really rough for some reason, but i’m going back at the end of this month, our 10-14 are the same too, and the others i gotta go back and re ride to really figure out which i like better
Oh nice! Glad we can agree 😂
The Beast at night is a whole different animal. Shooting through the woods in the dark makes a big difference on those long straightaways.
Oh I bet! I can't wait to experience it one day!
Ah another Orion hater I see 😂 but yeah KI is elite
I went there yesterday your bottom is my favorite but the racer is my 3 or 4 favorite
Nice! Kings Island is always so much fun.
The Beast scares me so much because I constantly feel like I'm going to fly off the track xD but its a must every time I go!
Hahaha yeah it definitely has that kind of effect on people lol
you said something about the beast at night. i went on it several times at night and its awesome and it seems to go faster at night than day
Oh I'm sure it did feel faster, I've heard great things about Beast night rides!
i think the monsters represent the old bat and a standup coaster that was taken down maybe 20 years ago
I've also heard this!
Man my first ride on Orion was nuts. Was wearing a necklace and had to stop it from leacing my neck
I just rode Banshee yesterday. There are some fun moments like the drop especially. But overall it was really rough. Almost painful even (row 5)
Oh dang that stinks! Honestly I don't like middle rows on any invert, maybe the front would've been smoother.
When I wen last Thursday I managed to get 10 rides on Orion. The last ride of the night felt so much faster than it did earlier in the day. I got such intense ejector airtime on the dip at the end. It was so crazy.
Man I wish I could've gotten an Orion night ride when I went!
what rides do you recommend for one day? wanna ride as many coasters as i can. i was told to do flight of fear and then orion and then not sure after that. is fast pass worth it? what are wait times on the rides
i went to KI for the first time yesterday and adventure express was my first ride
Great way to start off the day!
The beast is an awesome coaster at night!! Rode it many of times
I've heard! I can't wait to try it.

Rock on kings island!! My favorite amusement park!!!❤
Love it!
its crazy to think racer was my second ride
I got the tree on my second ride on mystic timbers! I remember (even the GP) the entire train started cheering lol And I'm not hating on ur opinion but for me personally I have Mystic Timbers as number 3 in the park, Orion as 2, and Diamond back as the best in the park.
Lucky! And yeah I respect that, Orion, Diamondback, and Mystic are all soooo closed in my rankings, it's hard to pick a true #1.
I live near kings island, in fact it’s my go to amusement park and has been since I was young. That being said, the beast is still one of my favorites to this day
I'm jealous! That's a great park to live near, and solid choice.
The shed = The bat was released in 1981 by arrow. Was closed in 84. The vortex sat in its spot. The snake was the cobra. The first stand up coaster with a loop. It opened in 84 and was closed in 2000 I think
Aha that makes sense! So the monsters are defunct rides.
@@CoasterJawn yea. Kings island is known for honoring thier defunct coasters. They have a tombstone for son of beast near the banshee que. And even tho they have a ride called the bat. It was just a renaming of the top gun ride when they lost the paramount license. The one in the shed refers to the original

Thanks for this video
It's awesome to hear your thoughts on the park, then and now, thanks for watching!
One was running backwards in the 2000s
The beast at night isn’t very scary but almost twice as fun. The best part at night is the second hill where you’re waiting for the drop. A little tip also, if you sit in the middle of a singular car there wont be as much pain
Oh I bet it is! I've heard such great things about Beast at night. And fair point, that means the wheel seats must be rougher, good to know!
I'm looking forward to most likely going near the end of this month. There are so many that I can't wait to get to! Two questions though:
Honestly I'm not the guy to ask on that subject lol, we didn't stay at a hotel when we went so I wouldn't know, I would call the hotel/park and ask!
My favorite so far is Banshee! Just rode flight of fear this year though and I enjoy it a lot. Orion, have not worked up the courage to ride it yet! (Acrophobic here) Also my home park.
Banshee's a great choice! Once you do get the courage to ride Orion its so worth it, good luck trying in the future!
Should I ride banshee? That, invertigo,Orion are the only coasters I haven’t rode there

3# being "Flight of Fear"
My ranking is very similar, my top three is different, actually the exact opposite of yours: Orion, Mystic Timbers, Diamondback. It’s my home park and the top three changes all the time but all the time, they’re so close for me!
Honestly they change for me too lol, they're all such great rides it's hard to choose lol
I live in Cincinnati close to king’s island and I go there all the time I have never ridden a coaster that goes upside down what roller coaster should I ride first Banshee, Invertigo, or flight of fear?
Banshee it’s the smoothest out of the three but in terms of low intensity do invertigo first
Thank you
Welcome!
I would agree, Banshee is definitely the best but invertigo is probably a good warmup
Yeah my first ever coaster at kings island was actually banshee but that was because I was younger and my older stepbrother convinced me. I actually wasn’t that terrified.
1. Diamondback
2. Mystic Timbers
3. Banshee
4. Orion
5. The Beast
6. Invertigo
7. Flight of Fear
8. Racer
9. The bat
10. Back lot stunt

5:49 FoF only has 4 inversions? It's so crazy I thought it had more!
Honestly I think it's a lot considering how compact it is, but yeah it is a crazy ride!
Cool fact about the ufo at flight of fear. The disign is only half of a ufo. There is a mirror reflecting it looking like a whole ufo
Aha interesting, it fooled us 😂
