How the heck is monks s3 better than luna????

the only real counter u have to monk s3 is laia, while ml luna has laia,ml kawerik, and anything than can cleanse while not caring about a passif or wat not

Thanks Uncle! When I first saw her kit I had a knee jerk reaction but after your comments helped me think things through. Her not having cooldown increase like Nakhwol makes her more tolerable.

yeah my thought process while watching the luna reveal is as follow:
-as a fast player, when do I prefer her over monk (literally only vs iwanttoendlegend)
-as a slow player, am I afraid of her when I have laia on 3 (the answer is literally never lol)

With the ml ee's, im really hoping we get something for opsig and teyron, I really want my favorite mls to shine again. Though question about ml luna, do you think she's going to be strong on the non attack artifacts mages get? i feel etica and sprirt breath might make her a bit stronger than we're giving her credit for rn. And do you think moona (ml luna) might enable lua's return? since the biggest counter to lua relied on a passive before laia finally came out.

The OG Luna has a rng S1 built into her kit. On max rng her s1 can hit 7times

for now I think haste. He has the ability to one shot a lot of meta units and win a game solo. Luna needs a team built around her to get a comparable amount of value.
I have laia, destina, lulucar, ml kekwic, and a few other decent cleansers.... so should i pity bmh and prayge to rnjesus i can somehow get ml luna? My account doesn't have spoli, dbs, MLYufine, or Candy :

Ad her greatest counters require you to go after her turn. All of which can be built.tanky to survive cleave.
I think she's moreso a sidegrade to nahkwol/peira. If you're comfortable with those units you can skip luna. Otherwise I think luna is gonna be pretty solid for a lot of casual players even for Arena/GvG
is she worth pulling over BMH or Ayufine? I was so hype thinking she will be as good as Candy
Most improtantly on the skill effect null is that Zio won't be able to push back and silence her.
No Zio can still push back and silence her because the skill effect null only works on ONE PART of a skill, Zio being the broken piece of shit that he is, has 4 part tied to his S3, first is the strip

Haste literally best hero in the game rn if ur slow
yufine can skip, haste is v close to a must have. I do think slow players have an avenue to play luna, but you need a really good protection set.

kinda depends on playstyle. Ayufine not really a unit with jenua in the game.

I think it's about time for me to just start Ban Protecting Holiday Yufine every game...can just put Taeyou's artifact on her and let her counter basically every Meta Opener in the game. She already really good into ML Politis, and she will easily beat ML Luna...I have her on Guide right now and with Guide she already a good potential counter to Ran/Peira when she dodges but if I put Taeyou's artifact on her I guess I wouldn't need to rely on dodging lol.

I don't have a single good counter to ML Politis and i have both Bromann and Nahkwol, this unit counters ML Politis unlike Nahkwol. Also aoe seal > aoe bind, passives are stronger than counterattacks in most cases
replied to you in the other thread but seriously, why is everyone pretending luna can also reset cooldowns or we just think in 2024 cooldowns aren't important in E7?

Shes insane this has to be the most broken unit in e7 pair her in a cleave team with flidica to reset cleanser and its a free win 0 counter.
why 0 counter? does she have a part in her kit that blocks counter attacks that I missed?

ok but i feel like comparing monk with ml luna is kinda misleading as ml luna has damage over monk. They do something similiar on s3 but completely different things on s1 and s2.
saying luna has damage is the same as saying blooming lidica has dmg outside of her s3. I think that would be REALLY misleading.

Units like these make it impossible for casual players. They need to release relevent 4star RGBs and also make gearing easier. Because I just can't commit to all of this power creep in limited and ML 4-5s
gearing is as easy as it's ever been with the gear drop side story. ML Luna is strong but in most meta matchups she's not really better than nahkwol, idk if I'd start panicking about an ml5 that's a weaker sidegrade of an RGB5.

Alright guys, I'mma say it you all. Luna's super mid. Objectively worse than a certain red monk because no SB ignore ER. It's hard to have high spd, high eff, and high hp without giving up anything. Not to mention almost every cleanse in the game works against her except for dilibet.
