    Asalamu Aleykum
Lovely talk Mashallah I would like to share it but there’s an error that forces me to refrain from sharing , Shayk says the body and mind change but the soul doesn’t.. As I know the soul is changing condition aswell, the prophet saw said “ If one of you bathed in a river 5 times a day would he have any dirt left on him?” No was the response... then the prophet saw said “This is the similitude with the 5 daily prayers.” I.e for the soul. Prompting me to believe that the soul can become clean or dirty by our actions. Also there are other evidences for example at the time of death where it is said “Oh evil soul come out to the punishment of Allah” referring to the state of a soul by the angel of death as I remember it. So it is proved that the soul is in fact changing states. I.e towards good or evil condition. Also just a little bit more emphasis on the importance of taking care of the body would have been nice aswell and it’s health having a bearing on our hearts and therefore our motivation to do more good for our souls and for Allah. Other than these two points, top class talk and lovely man I will be checking out more of he’s videos in sh Allah.

Jazakallah for your response. The following excerpt may clarify that Shaykh mentions the soul also changes if not worked upon: th-cam.com/video/zGXQN1e3jQ8/w-d-xo.html
Regarding the body, there are a number of talks which Shaykh addresses the body with respect to fasting and the life of the Prophet ﷺ.

Brother I'm not a scholar, furthermore your reaction is written with respect so I hope I can achieve the same. I just wanted to note that to me it seems that what you have written doesn't have to contradict with the sayings of the shaykh.
The body and the mind change in the sense that their very essence changes, at a cellular level. Think of a building, replacing a brick every now and then.
What you describe of the soul as you nicely put it resembles the state of it, not the very essence of it. I'm not a scientist but think of the states of matter; solid, liquid and gas. Water in liquid form may freeze, changing its state and properties but it is still the same bit of water, not having changed in essence.
I'm not saying this reaction of mine is a correct explanation, but perhaps it might be interesting.
We perhaps ought to listen to the tafseer of surah Shams the shaykh has given, especially verse 8 I assume
      السلام عليكم

Is salaam accepted even though a person don't know the meanings or translation of what they are praying in the surahs?
