My skull was my reward for winning the marathon world championships in 2010, my triangle on my hand reminds me to keep moving forward and make progress, and my turtle/Pura Vida tattoo on my leg is a reminder of my amazing time in Costa Rica :)
- How do you make money? - TH-cam/Freelance film/photo & my clothing brand

- What editing program do you use? - Premier Pro CC on Mac

- Will you be going to the Olympics? - Hopefully if they introduce Marathon Kayaking into the Olympic program!

- What steady cam do you use? - A really cheap one from ebay.
- Why aren't you training for kayaking anymore? - I see new opportunities everyday, I'm just grabbing them as they appear and keep working hard, right now that's TH-cam & Film. I'm happy I made the change!
- How long do your vlogs take to edit? - They vary massively, sometimes 1 hour sometimes 6+

Have you watched too many Ben vlogs when the finger puppetry while driving starts making perfect sense? Every little finger wiggle & hand bite fits precisely with the music & scenery!
So funny how you always say you're not prepared for running or whatever, and then smash it, because you're basically fit from everything else you do. The footing on that rocky trail looked tricky and, sped-up, even a bit scary. I'm sure it would be fine, though, at normal speed. I'd love to run it someday. Thanks for another great vlog!
After that run a coffee is well deserved. I miss mountain biking more than anything in this world!! I want to get back into it mannn.

When you boil your eggs. The easy way to get the shells off easily is to take them and after 5 minutes put them into the freezer for 15 minutes. The shell and the inner membrane will separate from the egg and they come off so easily and quickly. No picking them apart. I use Organic Sea Salt. It too has all the micro minerals you need.
This is why I follow your vlog. Keep the adventures coming!

Ben The 1st rule about the secret Trail running society is don't talk about the trail running society.
I spend most days of my week either power walking, hiking, trail running and mountain biking around the mountain ranges in Cape Town. Then on a body board catching waves at some of our fine beaches. Work? It's hard to apply yourself here what with consistently fine weather, mid 20's C, dry and sunny!!!

Ben you inspired me to get my first road bike!! i just bought a used one from 05 and i love it, what a great work out totaly different then a single speed bike im on strava now to and followed you. Lot of flats out here and some hills in NJ, USA.

Tell Nicole there is an easier way for pealing eggs, a hole one side and one a bit larger in the other end, then blow in the smaller end and the egg should just pop out with all the shell in one piece bit the egg separate and clean.
