    thank you very much for the good explanation. I thought I got it, but looking at some sentences from Lesson 90, I guess I didn't get it right. You wrote "İ am feeling happy when İ do sports" = Ben spor yaptığım zaman mutlu hissediyorum. Now I would write "Spor yapınca kendimi mutlu hissediyorum". my sport doing affects my happiness. The other sentence: İ am getting upset when my students don’t listen me = Öğrencilerim beni dinlemediğinde üzülüyorum . the students doesn't listen, the result is that I get upset. Now I would write:Öğrencilerim beni dinlemeyince üzülüyorum. Have a nice sunday

    • @LearnTurkishvia
      @LearnTurkishvia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Merhabalar.
      You got it right. For both sentences it is better to use the suffix "-ınca".
      The thing is in some rare cases both suffixes sound correct and can be used. Don't worry about these cases and stick to the logic told in this lesson. Başarılar. 👍

    What is the difference between the suffix ken and suffix diğinde

    • @LearnTurkishvia
      @LearnTurkishvia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      With verbs, mostly "-ken" is "while" and "-dığında" is "when".

    Is the follwoing example sentence right? ex) İki yerel halk, sizi yoksul bölgenin her köşesine ve bucağına tanıtıyor. Shouldn't we use "sana" intead of "sizi"?

    • @LearnTurkishvia
      @LearnTurkishvia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If it's a formal sentence "sizi", if it's an informal sentence "seni".
      They introduced you to me = Onlar seni bana tanıttı.

    This rule of grammar is new to me. So we have to take a better look at the relationship between one part of the sentence and the other to select the correct adverb…. Hmmmmm🤔

    Why do we say “mutlu oldu” and “soğuktu”? Why don’t we say “soğuk oldu” or “mutludu” even though both are adjectives?

    • @LearnTurkishvia
      @LearnTurkishvia  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If we literally translate;
      Mutluydum = I was happy
      Mutlu oldum = I became happy
      Soğuktu = It was cold
      Soğuk oldu = It became cold
      You use which one you want depending on what you are trying to tell.

    Teşekkür ederim Hocam. Yalnız bir şey anlamadım
    Zarf fiilleri kullandığımızda neden özne -in haline gelmiyor?
    Diyoruz mesela: a) Ben eve döndüğüm zaman çocuklar uyuyordu; b) Murat yardım istemediği halde ben yardım ettim; c) (Siz) Sinemaya gitmek istemediğinize göre eve kalalım vs.
    Ama aksine bu cümlelerde: a) Annemin istediği hediyeyi aldım (relative clause); b) (Senin) Türkiye’yi gezdiğini duydum (object clause); c) Patron işçilerinin harika bir iş çıkardığını söyledi (indirect speech) vs. özne -in haline gelir
    Beni yardım edebilirsiniz çok minnettar kalırım

    • @LearnTurkishvia

      Ben senin okuduğun kitabı biliyorum
      I know the book that you were reading
      As you see there are 2 subjects; "ben" and "sen".
      Also here the suffix "-dık" is about the object (book).
      So when we use the suffix "-dık" for an object in a phrase then we should use possession.
      Ex:
      Annemin istediği hediye = The gift that my mother wanted
      Sen kitap okuduğunda .....
      When you are reading the book....
      But here there is only one subject "sen" and the suffix "-dık" is about time.
