- Hello everyone : ) For today's video I'm going to build up this kit here which is the first Gundam Wing model ever released, the HGAC (High Grade After Colony) XXXG-01W Wing Gundam from Gundam Wing series. (Check out for more details of this kit here: www.1999.co.jp.... What so special about this kit as I said before is it is the first model of Gundam Wing so I think I should have one of this kit here in my collection. The design is quite interesting especially the body part and the wing part. This kit can be transformed into a bird mode which I think looks really cool (shown in the video). Anyway, let's get into the video because I build this kit step by step so you guys can understand how this kit mechanism work. Please enjoy : )

As far as painting or using the Gundam markers go, in your opinion, do you suggest doing that after completing the build itself or painting/lining things up with the markers as you remove the outer parts? I just bought this kit and it's gonna be my first serious build (the first one I did was the Entry Grade RX-78-2 Gundam) so figured I'd ask.
Actually you can do both way. But for me, I mostly paint my kit after finish all the building process. It is because some of the part need some sanding process which there will be a lot of dust. Here’s my way in short:
Cut the part > Remove the nubmark/sanding > Clean the dust or wash the parts > Start painting > Assembly
My way use a lot of time but as long as the kit you build looks great and you satisfied with it, it would be okay.
what camera did you use on most of your video?🥺
I'm sorry if the video is blur because I don't have any good camera :'( , only using the iPhone 10 camera but I really hope to have one real camera one day

Is it ok to cut the front skirt into 2 so that it will be more independent to each other? or it will be loose?
It’s depend because some kit will have some problem if you split the front waist part. Some are just fine. So before you split them, make sure the hole is tight enough to hold them when it split.

I usually build it first then will fully paint it on the second part.
is the beam saber handle come in two pieces also?
Unfortunately no. You only get one handle although it's come with 2 clear green saber parts.
