Wow! American universities really are something else.
True it's amazing to look at but it's also a double edged sword with uni's being basically businesses and not schools anymore with prizes increasing year after year. Like it's awesome to see a huge store and also like a burger king on campus of arizona state uni etc but yeah this comes through the insane costs students have to pay and on top of that TV advertisements. Universities are becoming a more exclusive for the elite and whealtiest people only thing year by year. I love universities etc and the vibe etc but they're becoming outdated and not worth the money anymore :(

My daughter has been accepted to 8 universities (including ASU) for fall 2021 and my wife and I have been SO impressed with ASU. What the university stands for and how they support their students has truly stood out in the conversations we've had with ASU representatives as well as in all of the materials (including this video) we've read and watched. We're visiting one final time in April and while the final choice belongs to her, we're hoping she comes to the same conclusion! Thank you ASU for all you're doing to help students and families become more familiar with everything you have to offer!

I am about to graduate in a month and I have really liked it here. Although there are a lot of opportunities to succeed already, the university does not spot growing and adding more spaces for new opportunities. One of the few things I did not like is that it is a really massive school, which sometimes can be overwhelming.
make sure yalll look at all those hidden fees: in state tuition in about $12,000 for ASU plus the $1,000 Barrett fee plus the $9000 for dorm plus the $4000 for meal plan plus an additional fee for being in a particular college (mine ins $1000 for Liberal Arts) plus the $ you will need for books, and if you want to bring a car thats another $600 so it adds up very quickly.

Your daughter will love it at ASU they party hard it’s an amazing university I don’t go here but my annoying older sister Amber is a ASU alumni and I was able to visit her a couple times through her 4 years there and I went to her graduation and I got to walk around the campus with her and her friends and it was beautiful and big a big change from where we live because we’re from Rochester NY I also visited because my sister was on the Track and soccer team and mom made me go to some of her meets and games my sister was an Biology major there it was a beautiful school it just was to big for me but my sister loved it so your daughter most likely will to

When I enrolled into TESol certificate courses past year ,I was really impressed,mind blown and got hooked by ASU and their professors! My favorite ones are Shane Dixon and Jessica Cinco ! They are amazing and top notch teachers !!! I'm still the part of ASU and really excited and happy !! I always learn a lot during their webinars and courses and I won't give up on education!!! ASU is the badass as Arizona as well!!!

Persil laundry detergent, duo, makes a difference. I assume at this point that split Calcium can be treated with one TicTac a day, and nail worms are the cause of Schizophrenia. Feet smell comes from split calcium not fungus.

Students in Barrett, The Honors College at ASU average a weighted high school GPA of 4.26. Seventy-four percent of the nearly 1,100 National Scholars enrolled at ASU are Barrett students, including more than 400 National Hispanic Merit Scholars. -- Wow! My son will never make it....
I am in Barrett and can tell you its a good honors program but not there is a $1000 a semester fee for no reason
@@danielafigueroa528 Thanks Daniela, I am sure it's a darn good program. 4.26 weighted GPA out of 4.5? That's close to 95 out of 100, or top 5%, top gun class. What's the in-state tuition fee you pay, in addition to that $1000 registration fee each semester?

ASU is a good school but there is nothing really to do unless you are in greek life. It is full of hidden fees for literally everything including stuff that I have never used. Very liberal just FYI I am not sure if that matters to you. The school is also very expensive for out of state students, but I will say that it is easy to find community because there are so many students. Finding a dorm is not too hard since buildings are basically pre assigned by major. I am in Barrett which has a ridiculous fee and i am not sure where my money is exactly going, but the dorms and food are so much nicer in Barrett. I am an education major and I discover that nobody really respects me for my major and I have been told that my career choice is worthless more than once (mostly from engineering students). For positives, I would say the weather is nice, and there are many fun classes offered. Overall I would rate my experience here a 3/10 and if I could do it all over I would choose to go to a different school

What programs would you take for looking to do something in the medical field that isn’t nursing, i am a junior in highschool and i plan to become a pediatric doctor or surgeon one day and i’m unsure about programs there that would be the right fit for me. Thank you.

My son received a substantial scholarship to attend your university this year. I’m thankful he decided to attend another university where he doesn’t have to worry about who he is or his ideologies. He doesn’t live in fear of reprisal or condemnation from a misinformed woke student body- who seem more concerned about pushing socialist & radical left agenda’s, then they are the actual education of the mind!

I have a question, why is it if an individual wants a degree but when they were younger they didn’t do their best and now they are told they can’t go after the degree they want. I guess I pay taxes to AZ for asu to screw over hard working folks.

Hey, look! There's the university that left me in 30k in debt for a piece of paper that's stuck somewhere under my bed. Was it my decision to study for my worthless degree? Yes. Was I led to believe, by this university, that it was the ultimate achievement to be successful? Yes, and in the end, all my efforts were futile once I started to look for jobs. The debt delayed me in moving on in my life. And I am not the only one. Also, I got robbed 300 dollars worth of stuff in the mediocre, expensive dorms. If I could do it all over again, I would not have gone to this mediocre place with mediocre classes. The only good thing that came out of this was a part-time job as a tutor. That's it.
