Is there any chance i can buy an MK2 rail square? They can't be found in Webshop anymore. Bought the old version of repeat stop (shown in video here) . No chance to give it back.
These documentation videos are very well made but I would also like to see more demonstration of the tools in actual operation. As a relative beginner I would find it very helpful to understand more deeply how they work and if they'd meet my needs.
Great video and great product but can you please consider including some instructions WITH the product, especially the repeat stop, I had no idea what the little calibration block was for or that other little connector block thing. Even just a little photograph of it all connected would be amazingly handy!
Noted. We try to keep everything on out website and now TH-cam for reference. We are moving over to a more sustainable packaging with little to no plastic and less throw away items in the box.
Hi, I have the makita rail square, but I seem to struggle to get the square and rail to be 90degrees, when I apply the locks. Do you have to close the locks at the same time or is there a knack to this? Many thanks.
Hey Steve, always better to have the track on a flat surface and yes setting both cams at the same time would be an advantage but if you are still having issues ping us an email, and we can help you sort this out.
This looks like a great kit. My only hesitation is that the calibration block is not toolless. With the exception of rail connectors, all your other adjustments seem to be toolless, seems like such an odd choice to not have a thumb screw for the calibration block.
The rubber edge might be damaged and not representative of the actual cut. Calibration cannot and should not be more than screw everything together, TIGHT, cut something. Measure cut thing, make sure your indicator reflects that value. If that means more than 0.1mm adjustable range in your things, you have not analysed the problem your tools are trying to solve. You should not have to adjust for more than different thicknesses of blades. - Saw rides on the ridge close to the left green stripe, relative to its left edge, so just make that your reference. Then the only thing that can ever need adjusting for is kerf width. When someone realizes this, I'll buy everything from them.
I'm still contemplating whether to use this new company or not. The Trust pilot reviews are pretty bad, in regards to shipping and QC. It seems that a lot of their products arrive scraped and damaged. It's a sht ton of money to pay for bad packaging. And the replies also seem to be taken too sensitivly, in other words, maybe the owner should consider employing a secretary to respond to Trust pilot reviews, subjectively. I get that this is your baby, but it's not a good look, when you constantly respond to your customers, with, I'm sorry you feel that way and I'm sorry you felt you had to leave one stars. I'm sorry you feel, is a none apology and another way to say, you're not sorry. You're a new company, so hopefully in time, you'll understand this. Beautiful designs. I think I'd have to email first to make sure it's QC'd before shipped.
I understand your concern, but let me give you some insight into our company. We have been going for four years and have many customers (over 26k) and over 35,000 orders within this time. We also have a lot of returning customers. Now if we were as bad as you think just by reading the bad reviews, you have forgotten to mention that we are rated as excellent on Trustpilot with products and customer service, yes, we only have 499 reviews at the moment (as of today 06/05/2023), and 92% are five stars. 4% is four stars, 2% is three stars and 1% each for 1 & 2 stars. People are generally more happy to write bad reviews than others, but we have not had many failures compared to others. Unfortunately, only some orders don't go to plan, but we always try our hardest to rectify issues promptly. You can only please some, although we try to please all. Every day is a school day for packaging, and we are starting to go plastic-free in the next few months with innovative packaging that is not only 100% recyclable but gives more protection to the products. You also mentioned that we don't apologise. I'm sure we do in the responses, but we must clarify the facts from both sides of a bad review, as a lot of detail is generally left out to make it worse than what it is. Most of the negative reviews, as you said, were about delivery and damage, and I'm sure you are aware once it leaves our workplace, it is in the hands of the courier as they don't leave our place damaged. You may not like my response to your comment, but we are only putting the facts in place.

I agree
Sure, I can definitely arrange this. Maybe we can do a video short on this.

Do you have a parallel guide and rail square combo kit.

If only I've seen this video before. 🙄

We felt that this would have been over engineered for a one time only setting. As once it’s set it’s very rare it needs to be moved.
