Ive still not got my early birds ticket sent to me, it says that they dont accept e-tickets but they do mobile tickets. trying to get in contact with ticketmaster is a fucking bitch. Anyone have any info
Rennie/gaviscon is deffo essential! I would also recommend Imodium… the booze poos can be grim at the best of times the morning after the night before 😖 But the “toilets” at reading are tooooo rank. I’d rather just load up on Imodium and not need to go for a few days even if the constipation can be uncomfortable 😂 I camped in white twice and it’s soooo much nicer and they have actual portaloos that are way nicer than the big shit pit but fuck me, the walking just isn’t worth it, it’s so far you can’t just nip back to grab stuff throughout the day or down a few bevs between sets so you don’t have to spend £6 or more on a shitty pint that you have to queue 20 mins for and gets knocked straight out your hand almost immediately anyway! The first few times I went to reading I camped in green and loved it It’s close enough but not disgustingly busy and you need to stay away from the paths so your stuff doesn’t get trampled on (my tent got shat on once I mean what the actual fuck!?) Remember people are fucking FERAL. I also came back one night to find a group of strangers had mistakenly gone into my tent thinking it was theirs and hotboxed it 😂 so something to identify your tent as yours is also good - everyone has the cheap supermarket tents that all look the same and when it’s dark and you’re intoxicated it can be a nightmare trying to find your way back! Also, I have t finished watching the vid properly because I’m writing this comment so sorry if you did mention this at some point but LUCOZADE! And multivitamins for the mornings. The hangovers can be shite and if you think your hangover isn’t that bad it’s because you haven’t sobered up yet and it will hit you at some point. You need electrolytes and water but water can taste gross when it’s warm so squash can be good. Bananas and orange juice and a packet of ready salted crisps can be good for replenishing electrolytes as well but trust me you need something to give you some energy. Dioralyte sachets that the hospital gives you to rehydrate you faster are ideal but I’ve tried every flavour and they all have a weird chalky after taste that can make me feel more sick when I’m hungover so I like sports drinks. Also with paracetamol, the ones with caffeine in are good for hangovers! They’re normally labelled as cold & flu tablets Antihistamines can be a lifesaver as well. Even if you don’t normally have hay fever, living outside for a few days can bring it on unexpectedly and also they help you itch less if you get bitten by midges or mozzies or stung by a wasp or whatever. Aloe Vera gel for sunburn is essential too and can also be used on bites
