The presence of antiphospholipid antibodies in the context of thrombosis, miscarriage, or other pregnancy-related problems is known as antiphospholipid syndrome. There are three primary groups of these autoantibodies, which are directed against phospholipid-binding proteins. These antibodies induce in vivo thrombosis in a number of organ systems despite in vivo extension. The lower limbs and the cerebral arterial circulation are the most often affected areas by venous and arterial thrombosis, respectively.
