Any Scriptural support for the explanations brother gave reg Bread and wine that we becme resistant to temptation? Or by taking the wine, we are receiving the life of Jesus? Where are the Scriptures that support this teaching?

Sure brother. That's a very valid question you asked. We should not believe anything without a scriptural basis. I may not be able to explain it fully on this comment, but would give you the scripture. If you read John 6, where Jesus talks about him being the ' life giving bread' you see that by eating His body we receive life. By having Life from Jesus only we can resist all of the world and sin. Especially you can read John 6:47-59. Hope that this helps. - Pastor Prasanna, vizag

@@prasannakumarparla7646 Thanks for responding pastor. However, the Bread of Life is only receiving Jesus by faith like te Living Water He told the Samaritan woman! It was not a literal water but by faith accepting the life of Jesus.
The Holy Communion is only to remember the Lord and His death till He comes as Paul also says in 1 Cor 11.
We cannot and should nto mix up things.
Like some preachers say, wherever wine is there, its the Blood of Jesus, e.g. in Good Samaritan Story. Its wrong interpretation. All preachers should study Hermeneutics to understand how to interpret the Scriptures correctly. God bless.

What you said is right brother. From that kind of misunderstanding only the doctrine of transubstantiation had come. You can be sure that I am not teaching that and will never support that doctrine. There is a fine line in the thought, if missed would lead to heresy.
