- I've always wanted to know how much musicians were paid and how much work is involved with different aspects of the music industry. Today I'm starting a series that does just that, called Behind The Grind. On this video we are looking behind the grind of live concert recordings.
Where we take a look at all the nitty gritty details that most people don't showcase on vlogs, so you can learn the true in's and outs of music business and industry. This vlog is centered around a live recording that I just finished not too long ago with some great friends.

Love you watching these kinds of videos in the gospel music industry. In the 90s, most vocal over dubbing was done after the fact. now most of it is done before hand. Most of that is because back then we didn't record with IEM. Also, back then most people had no idea that over dubs were even done. There was this mystical idea that records were recorded perfect the first time.

I lived in a townhome community for a few years with several people who were like that lady. It was a nightmare, and there was no reasoning with them. The issue with those types of communities is that the developer squeezes too many homes into too small of an area, thus creating a situation where there isn't enough space for all of the cars in the neighborhood. Parking disputes occur, and crazy neighbors start complaining about lights shining into their windows.

They usually have some studio stuff mixed in.
