    Not a mountain biker, but trying to put together a Google Earth tour representing a relative's ultimately one way journey to Vietnam in 1968. Thanks for laying out the basics. Learned a lot from the video. Thanks OG.

    Thanks for the video. You should check out and do a tutorial on Google Earth Studio. Much smoother flybys and better control of the camera angle, path, everything. The only clunky part ois that it is web-based, so can be slow, and you need to bring your KML files over and add them as overlays. Good luck.

      I think I’m going to try that next time.

    Excellent tutorial, thanks! I see that you can actually save a movie of the tour within the app itself, very cool!

    Well that was interesting: I was looking for a tutorial on how to do Google Earth flybys and lo and behold I see the hill we used to play on as kids - Beacon. Grew up a couple miles from there.

    Thank you for this tutorial. It now makes sense. A little quirky in places but not complaining. The Mac version is a little different in places for example ‘Get Info’ - ‘Properties’.

    Great video OG! Really good content and well laid out. My one question is how do you record your tour and add it to your TH-cam video?

    • @OGMTB
      @OGMTB  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      From my editing program I use the function "record P.C. screen". I then just push play tour.

    How do you slow down and adjust the speed the tour moves on to the next place marker?

    • @OGMTB
      @OGMTB  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do it in my video editing software.

  • @joeboudreault4351
    @joeboudreault4351 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Enjoyed this and learned something. BUT... can U do the same by using "path" to follow a highway instead of a trail?

    • @OGMTB
      @OGMTB  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure.

    • @joeboudreault4351
      @joeboudreault4351 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried, and tou can do a 'payh' using highways. But i cant get to adjust the camera angle that way.

    • @OGMTB
      @OGMTB  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that's why I like making individual waypoints. You can set up whatever camera view you want.

  • @LearFamilyVideos
    @LearFamilyVideos ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you for the video! How would you share that video with some one? Can you publish to MP4 and send it to someone?

    • @OGMTB
      @OGMTB  ปีที่แล้ว

      I lay it all out just how I want it. Then I watch it a few times. Then I record my computer screen in my video editing software. From there you could save it and send it.

  • @And-rc9yy
    @And-rc9yy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks it's also worth noting that you don't have to have the waypoints checked. GE will still operate the Tour.

  • @adamvisser9815

    Can you ro flyover on a phone as well?

    • @OGMTB
      @OGMTB  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know a way to do that. The mobile version of Google Earth has a lot less capabilities.
