Elizabeth Halsey (Cameron Diaz) is a foulmouthed, ruthless, and inappropriate teacher. She drinks, gets high, and can’t wait to marry a meal ticket to get out of her bogus day job. the moment of self-realization for her is great.. in front of her face all the time, but it wasn't until she said it out loud she realized it..😄
Though they showed her good side handling students’ problems, she never becomes cheesy. She still gave him the reality by being compassionate in her own ‘bad teacher’ style kind of way.

I love how many future famous people played the kids in this movie. Kaitlyn Dever, Kathryn Newton, and Noah Munck, although he'd been known as Gibby from iCarly for a few years then!
Billie Eilish's brother Finneas is the guy who gets to hit Diaz with a basketball in another scene. Lol!
