Very good point, i am an early Kreator consumer and completely out of this type of music as a musician at 45. Firstly because it no longer generates "good vibes" for me as a player, secondly no mater your technical level it still demands on your physic. slower more melodic rock/ metal with groove works best :)

Amazing that Mile still sounds the same like he did in early 90s. They are like Slayer of German thrash metal, they experimented with sound a lot but always remained with aggressive thrash sound. You know, kinda like Slayer. Speaking of... I don't know how Sodom and Destruction are doing these days, Sodom rocked in 80s and 90s.

Their first 5 albums are untouchable and impeccable. They have a done a great job of staying relevant when so many other bands can't and continue to crank out some great thrash metal throughout the years without skipping a beat. Kreator Uber Alles!

There's no possible comparison at that point. Plus, the "growing" as songwriters has sometimes become the using and repeating of formulas and the prevalence of a preconceived approach to songwriting. Their current compositions como so often from intellect while the old ones came from raw, harsh energy and pure genuine inspiration. Though great albums, there's no possible way of defending that "Their last 5 blow their first 5".

My friend's father worked at the embassy, I was lucky. I've been listening to Thrash, Hard, Metal since I was 12, now I'm 50 now I'm 50. Music knows no nationalities and borders.

They only played the online Wacken World Wide and released the London Apocalypticon DVD and the 666 music video. 2021 saw them release a boxset with the first 6 albums and return to live for 6 shows in August. Now if you look back before these past three years... In 2018, I got to see them on the January European tour, then they went and did the cruise, did a North American tour in February- March, then they came back and I got to see them again during their run of spring festivals and one off shows, then saw them again on the summer run of festivals and one off shows, then they did a South American tour and then I got to see them again for the November- December European tour. They also released a batch of four remasters that year. In 2017, it was the music videos for the upcoming album, the release party club show, the album release, the European tour, the Decibel magazine tour, the first batch of remasters, the summer festivals, the Australia & East Asia tour in September, the Mexico shows in late September- October, then a short run of shows in the US, then a show in Israel, then they finished the year at a festival in Germany. So yes, it's been kinda quiet for about three years when you compare to before that. And yes, while I did get to see them last summer, I did miss them because that was the first time I got to see them live in over two and a half years!

I can't think of any other band that's kept the flag of metal raised up high for so many years. Kreator are definitely true to their game, like no other.
Exactly the same thing for me; first time i heard Kreator, i was like "ugh, more Slayer", but then i heard those powerful melodic hooks and i was like "that ain't no Slayer!", been a fan ever since 🤘🏼 Funny thing is they basically combine thrash with power metal, and i actually dislike both of those subgenres of metal, so Kreator really is something special to make me love them so much in spite of this 🤘🏼💜🤘🏼

I've missed this blistering fast, relentless side of my favorite German band. Loved the previous two, but they were getting a bit too melodic and I was kinda worried (666 World Divided didn't help - felt like a leftover from the Gods Of Violence sessions). The guy who produced Power Trip/Enforced etc. really helped them get that aggression level up :) Anyway, welcome back Kreator

@the riff Kreator have always been spot-on with the use of melodies ever since the Terrible Certainty days. I love the early days to death, as much as the next guy (especially the Extreme Aggression/Coma Of Souls duo), but I don't discredit the experimental era (beautiful era artistically speaking - love the things they did in the 90's) or the latest stuff (my first real-time Kreator records were Enemy Of God and Hordes Of Chaos). I was just concerned whether this melody takes away from the aggression of a thrash metal band. Phantom Antichrist was my least favorite of the latest Kreator records. Let's just say I have high demands from highly consistent bands like Kreator. And this one sits up right there with my own balance of aggression and melody :)

They were always in my top ten for bands. I'm glad they stick to there metal roots but are not afraid to be melodic or experiment once in a while, theyre one of the best

I've missed this blistering fast, relentless side of my favorite German band. Loved the previous two, but they were getting a bit too melodic and I was kinda worried (666 World Divided didn't help - felt like a leftover from the Gods Of Violence sessions). The guy who produced Power Trip/Enforced etc. really helped them get that aggression level up :) Anyway, welcome back Kreator
@the riff obviously, but I wanted more of that riff. And don't get me wrong, I love the Kreator melodies, but I wanted a bit more on the riffing side of things :) That's all :)
@the riff Melody like how Metallica & now Gojira sold out. Thrash or Death Metal remain aggressive. Once you try being too melodic to get into mainstream. Then you lose us.
@the riff Kreator have always been spot-on with the use of melodies ever since the Terrible Certainty days. I love the early days to death, as much as the next guy (especially the Extreme Aggression/Coma Of Souls duo), but I don't discredit the experimental era (beautiful era artistically speaking - love the things they did in the 90's) or the latest stuff (my first real-time Kreator records were Enemy Of God and Hordes Of Chaos).
I was just concerned whether this melody takes away from the aggression of a thrash metal band. Phantom Antichrist was my least favorite of the latest Kreator records. Let's just say I have high demands from highly consistent bands like Kreator. And this one sits up right there with my own balance of aggression and melody :)

Kreator. Je m étais fait broder sur un tee short le nom via un calque pompé sur le 33tours extrême agression en 1989 ou 90 . Ça fait donc plus de 30 ans que je suis ce groupe Ventor et Mille toujours présent. Incroyable talent , énergie explosive dans les refrains , les solos et bien sûr dans le chant hurler de ce génie du thrash. Kreator ... Encore!
They were always in my top ten for bands. I'm glad they stick to there metal roots but are not afraid to be melodic or experiment once in a while, theyre one of the best
