I’m wondering how many sexual assaults one has to commit before you stay in prison for the rest of your life? “Let’s wait until he kicks it up to murder”.
The term sexual assault is a very broad term. It can be anything from actual rape to crude inappropriate comments so you have to be more specific. Let’s just say you have an 18 year old & a 16 year old that are dating & they have consensual sex. In some states that is statutory rape, who’s also sexual assault. Are you seriously saying that the 18 year old n that case should spend the rest of their lives in prison? There’s a huge difference between someone who committed a violent act & someone who didn’t that falls under the broad umbrella of sexual assault.
It also depends on which state all have different laws I do agree rapists get a couple years in prison get out rape again back to prison repeat until laws change
The Mentality of a Violent Criminal, only increases after serving time in Prison. A True Criminal Mind, does not change for the betterment of Society.
