Something to remember regarding Skaven and Drukui: rebellions are a feature rather than a bug due to post-battle loot and faction resources.
My playthrough went slightly different: I skipped Estalia altogether and took Tila by turn 4. The pastures there allow for large food gains and Sartosa only had one functioning settlement with the other being undeveloped ruins which I bought for chump change.
I'm now looking into getting as many engineers as possible and sending them out in the hopes of farming warpfuel which when combined with the food gains means I can power-level the workshop.
After that's its off to pulling off a mass doomsphere scheme and laughing.
Wish me luck!
Wish I wasn't drunk rn.. would leave a better comment. Thanks Costin, been a good time subscribing
Amen brother…god dammit.
Playing total war drunk on any difficulty over normal is a bad idea…
How do you get the extended tooltips? For example that in the Workshop in the On-Board Waste Compactor tooltip is also shows the detailed effects that "Endless Drum" actually has.
In my game it just shows the top part saying that it adds Endless Drum but not what Endless Drum does.
Rats, we’re rats. We’re the rats
They really nerfed sacking, so you get significantly less xp and food out of it. However, raiding still gets you 3 food per army. It seems the only reliable way to get food is killing enemy lords now.
Dunno about going Warlord over Weapon Master as you need a level 15 Weapon Master to progress your Forbidden Workshop and a Warlord isnt really doing anything on the field a Chieftan cant.
Increased Mobility on your Hero doesnt actually effect Lord/Army movement so it's better to stick to your Warlock Engineers yellow lines early to buff the army. Unless you intend to send him long distance to establish Undercities but realistically if you're keeping him in your army for as long as you did you should be prioritizing yellow lines.
Resettling Skavenblight is still a massive advantage in income and unit availability early at the cost of food you'll be able to readily get back via raiding and battles. Just occupy Tobaro when you have enough food then abandon Skavenblight and rebuild it to tier 4.
Anyone notice that early game resettle of Skavenbligjt no longer allows for higher level food buy?
Last game wouldn’t allow for the resettle jump to anything other than lvl 1 city! Anyone else see/ notice this ?
Having 3 death globe mortars in a weapons team doomstack makes walled settlement battles unbelievably easy.
Very well made video for any newbie wanting to play skaven, many many thanks , quality content!!
Gonna need one for Noct, general tactics and builds etc..
i d still argue that abadoning and resettling is a faster start since you explode in power around turn 7/8
Definitely you can end up with weapons teams and catapults and plague priests by about turn 11-12 then just crush everything around you. Plus now you can make skavenblight more secure and generate more income from a. Higher level settlement.
@@Omni_Shambles Raise a second lord to raid, keep sacking tobaro and going into raid stance with ikit and the other lord, should get enough food by turn 4 or 5.
@@Omni_Shambles you sack tobaro every turn while raiding with ikit and a lord only stack
Im really bad at total war and im struggling to get my feet off the ground as scaven
Is that a mod on the diplomacy screen that shows "deal" chance? If so what is it? Very nice video by the way
Its a feature of the game
i was hoping for help with mohgur… guess ill try this next time
Moh is easy to take out, just stack Ikit early with 3 spears/ shields, 6 sword/ shield. Drop the base lvl Clan rats for above keeping his weapon teams. Fill in remainder with slingers. Wait off his base till he takes the last settlement north and quickly kill and take over his base. You’ll easily kill him when he returns to attempt to take back! Also try to use a second army with chieftains (and other hero’s) to constantly attack the close town next to you till leveled
Oh that's an interesting strategy 😄
Ressetling is better you can improve youre start not impressed.
