Yes I think that is the case - I read somewhere that the female monkeys give birth on average once a year. This does explain why some of them seem to not care at all for their babies, and in a way I don’t blame them because they must literally get sick & tired of having more and more babies.

This is Santa, many years old video, they gave the mom drugged water, she died after birth, SANTA hung by umbilical cord for 12 hrs, then they took her home and left her on a flat sheet on flat wooden floor with nothing in room - nothing to cling to AT ALL, with camera for hours while her instincts told her she must cling or face immediate death so she screamed in terror and was driven literally to crawl up a corner wall in TERROR. They passed her from one house to the next, foisting her off on a series of women, NOT ONE of the women or men EVER let her cling and they REFUSED TO EVEN HOLD HER PROPERLY (facing in, with front of her body protected) EVER, but instead against all her instincts FORCED her arms apart splayed and exposed. No matter how she communicated trying to turn herself in an appropriate position they did not cate abd would not let her, EVER.
Santa spent her life laying on ground with one leg thrust upwards against her body so she could hug it. She was chewed on by puppy dogs while humans filmed it and laughed. It got so upsetting to watch and people started calling Cambodia and reporting it. The authorities found abd confiscated Santa finally and she was given to a legitimate refuge. The work we s there said she will likely NEVER RECOVER from the trauma and abuse.

This is from about 4-5 yrs old if I'm not mistaken. The vo's poisoned the mother with something in a water bottle and died a a little while after giving birth, that's why its clean and not messy. Of course the made a lot of money from donations and being monetized. This was during the pandemic when shyt was crazu and the monkey video's from Cambodia skyrocketed.

That’s Santa. She gets adjusted into different positions like 10 different times. Her mother reaches down and pulls her up a bunch of times but Santa ket slipping down the hole lower and lower every time and she ended up just dangling by the umbilical cord. It was stretched tight and her belly button was pulled out. It looked painful but she just dangled there.

The only reason it hasn't fallen is because it's still attached to the placenta and the placenta is still stuck in the mom thats the only reason that this nasty little rat didn't fall sooner but it's great cause she let's it fall eventually she dies and the baby finally falls out of the tree it's glorious to watch

Some of the branches may hold her up for a little while but she will definitely fall into the ground.

What happens next- the mother dies and the baby is rescued and goes to some horrible people who couldn’t care less about him. Poor thing. I remember following Santa as one of the 1st baby monkeys I followed and I was so appalled by the woman who was supposed to be looking after him. She never picked him up and was so cold and mean towards this sweet little baby. Really cruel.

I'm sure she will have a lot of help then, the little new born infant monkey needs to be put in a wild animal sanctuary that specializes in monkeys.
To be adopted by a waiting mother monkey, who will nurse, raise her, and reintroduce her back into the wild forest environment safely.
These adopting mother monkeys never lose their own milk because they constantly are looking for new baby monkeys to nurse and raise, that belong in the wild animal sanctuary that specializes in monkeys. You can probably check this out for yourself on TH-cam.

This sanctuary is more than 5 hours by road near the capital and I won't tell you about the state of the roads. What you see in these videos is the Angkor Wat site nearly 400 km away and not all injured macaques are automatically transported to be signed there. It is up to the goodwill of the local people to notify the responsible officials on the site who, once informed, can do what is necessary, but this is not systematic because from a logistical point of view it is complicated.

I was hoping the wild sanctuary that specializes in monkeys would come and pick them up, once they are notified by the forest park ranger.
You would think they would have park rangers for this forest, especially since the monkeys are their main attractions with the tourists in that area.

I feel sorry for both mama Monkey and her new born infant monkey, who is crying for mama's help and also to nurse her.
Mama Monkey is probably dying from complications and doesn't have any strength to help her new born infant monkey.
This new born infant monkey needs to go into a Wild Animal Sanctuary that specializes in monkeys and not in a person home for care and raising her.
Unfortunately people love to take wild infant monkeys home to raise them, only to be thrown back into the wild forest environment without any monkey behavior skills and end up being killed by other monkeys in the troops.
Wild Animal belong in the wild forest environment with their own troops, when something like this happens, the new born infant monkey needs to go into a wild animal sanctuary that specializes in monkey to be raised by an adopted mother monkey to be introduced back into the wild forest environment safely.
Everyone loves new born infant monkeys and other little wild animals but know they do grow up and can be dangerous.
All that demon wants is moms tits, it couldn't care less if she's dead or alive. That's the way those selfish imps are. There's no need to put it in a sanctuary, those places are full of rats that should've been left on the ground to die or been euthanized. The ones in the sanctuaries will NEVER live on their own so what's the point of keeping them alive?? Cambodia is a third world country, poor, and the last thing they should be doing is wasting time and money on these useless, overpopulated, disease ridden pests. They're NO better than cockroaches, their only reason for existence is as food for predators. Sadly, these dingbats have removed all the natural predators. Another case of humans interfering where they have NO business.

I agree that the monkeys belong in the wild, and have natural predators to keep the balance. I also believe in human compassion ❤ but not in interference.
A lot of things go on in the wild forest environment and because of humans feeding them has created so many different problems for the monkeys.
Even to the point of mother monkeys rejection of their own baby monkey's.
Due to Humans feeding them, causing the higher ranking monkeys to steal new born infant baby monkeys and keeping them to get more treats from Humans.
Higher ranking monkeys are definitely dangerous to lower ranking monkeys and will kill both Mother Monkey and her baby monkey if she fights against the higher ranking monkeys to get her own baby monkey back.
Many baby monkey have been killed for taking food from humans out of turn.
Unfortunately monkeys behavior is designed that way to keep the survival of the fittest.
In the wild forest environment only the strong survive.
The best thing for the monkeys is to forage for their own food and that's what stops them from being so greedy, and fighting against each other.
Where all the monkeys can live in harmony and balance.
Wild Animal Sanctuary for monkeys have a big forest landscape with many Acres where the Monkees can live in harmony and be reintroduced to that man made wild environment that is a control forest environment with new troops, who are already raised in the same control forest environment.
This is much more safer than the typical Wild Forest Environment for the monkeys that are out of place now, for what ever reason.

@@ОльгаПряхина-ш1м нет, ее лтравили, детеныш прожил едва 3 мес и его убили, это давно было, 2 года назад
