- The guys and were very curious about all the hype on the Easton Tantrum. So we finally got our hands  on one. We tested it then we swung it and finally got to feel what all the hype is about.

Definitely very interesting to me that the testing for these is so varied. We reviewed a 27oz one as well and ours was failing in wrapper. Bat is definitely outstanding and lives up to the hype.
The 1pc tantrum is just nuts stright gas out the wrapper and just gets hotter with every swing!!! Im in love again final a 240 eastons I like and gaming!!!! Thank u bat gods!!!
Ya, the hype is real on these. Finally got swing one, had about 150 ish swings, 27oz. Also had my 220 Eastons and Louisvilles out. Off the tee, with a 44/375, the Tantrum was right there velocity wise with my 13.5" FF1 and a couple MPH behind the 1pc Geny and FF1 12" Helmer (my two hottest bats). Where it is actually better though, is like you said (and BP hero), the sweetspot is literally the whole barrel!!
So, Easton has pretty much just put out a FireFlex 220 with a better sweetspot. No idea what compression was on the Tantrum I hit was, but can't see it passing compression, even with 150 swings.
Just ordered the tantrum 1 piece hopefully it’s just as hot as the first batch.
It just seems like your playing bat roulette with these. You might get a good one that kinda holds. Or one that’s going to fail in the wrapper or 20 swings in. Lol
Haven’t tried this one..but my Anarchy Nimmo is hot and durable…think Anarchy is slept on
Yep found a NoName online dirt cheap this winter as a backup to my M2 Sinister solid stick just needs more miles
I’ve swung a ton of them and that white/orange Nimmo is about hot as anything I’ve swung.

Do you like this better or the genesis vice bat. We use a ball that gets softer as the game goes on here in canada. So curious what you think is better.
Imo I would think a stiffer barrel would be better like a Genesis barrel.

Thank you! I typically go middle, backside when playing. As for comparison this is in my top three of 240 bats out.
What are your top 3 Adam? • with no testing would you swing this or Iron Man Genesis?
@@guylabreche410 top 3 are any of the new Genesis line, 1-piece proton and the Tantrum. Gamer would depend on how I few that day. Sounds dumb but how I’m swinging dictates the bat I use.

If not getting compression tested in league night or tournaments which bat would you game ,Easton Tantrum 1pc or Proton neon series 2?
I prefer the 1-piece proton myself. If I gotta decide between the 2-piece proton and the Tantrum? I’ll take the tantrum. I just don’t like flex in my handle.
my 2 piece fails at 215-220 after about 75-80 swings

No I’ve checked everywhere. Everyone is sold out from what I’ve seen.
When there is a good bat to be bought I don't understand why everyone is sold out. You would think they would speed up the manufacturing of the bat in order to fill all of the order requests and make as much money as possible.
Easton has so many more bats on the market than everyone else. Instead of making these bats that no one seems to want, why not make sure they have Tantrums in stock for example? It doesn't have to be Tantrum's but whatever their best bats are. They have 30 different types of Fireflex's that all seem to be the same IMO. I know about 10 players that are trying to get the 1 piece Tantrum's and none that are looking at the other 40 Easton's on the various sites.
Question: Would this bat be a good choice with a 52 cor 300 comp softball as opposed to a ASA.USA bat????

I am a believer over time that the USSSA bats hit the 52 cor 300 comp softballs just as well if not better than the ASA/USA bats.

I have hit a few of the Pure bats. I have also hot the Monsta Zombie. The Hellfire was a good bat for the 52's.

What’s your top pick? The new proton, Easton tantrum, or a genny?
All good bats, but really depends on temp. Louisville is a no brainer when its hot, after that it depends on weighting and what feels good to you. Proton is light in the ass for me but it swings so nice, Easton has been my utrip gamer for a long time, but Louisville in my mind is top dog. Plu they offer so many variants that you can find one that fits your swing.
How do the 2 piece compare ?
We haven’t swung one yet but we got one to review.

I spoke to an Easton rep and he told me they will get more in by year's end. That's sad on Easton's part as I know several guys trying to get the 1 piece Tantrum. Easton is losing business by having slow production of this bat.
Wellif you go on their website, they’ve been in stock the last week, just checked and 1 piece still there.

You can’t go wrong with either one, it really depends on your swing and what you like….
I prefer the Easton, but I’m an Easton and 1 pc guy, that being said the one piece Louisville is coming out soon…

Yeah I’ve sold conveyor belts , gaskets , orings and I guess that’s why I referred to the durometer of the knob.
36 outta 40 1 piece tantrums failed out the wrapper. The pink 2 piece so far is the only bat holding but it's also one ppl shud be talking about its fire

Anyone make a video explaining why the one piece is supposably WAY hotter then the 2 piece? doesn't make much sense.
2-piece barrels are hot but the connection piece is the problem on the 2-piece. Too much flex in the handle.
Dam I wouldnt think the flex on a Easton would be that bad to make that much of a difference, The one piece Wegmans of the past were crap before about 500+ swings @@FatGuyBP

@@Mr15hzI think mostly tournaments - I’ve played in lots of different leagues up in Canada and they never test. We also use the ASA balls tho
