REQUESTED CARPET CLEANING WITH ELECTRIC TRUCKMOUNT

I've had some requests to post more carpet cleaning videos lately. In this video I will be doing steam cleaning HWE using my homemade electric truckmount.

yes i agree, but if the customer wasn't gonna pay for it then they're not getting it

I give my customers options and they choose the level of service they want. If they need vacuuming, CRB prescrub, pet odor treatment, etc., I will suggest it and explain the benefits and it's up to them. I do sometimes do some extras no additional charge depending on the circumstances though (like for realtors who use me on a regular basis or the single mom with 3 kids and struggling to make ends meet). My prices are reasonable, not super cheap, but very fair but there's really no room to include extras at my normal price.

I have the same general pump and electric motor that you had before and it works very well, why didn't you change the bad electric motor instead of buying a water otter?

It was really just because I needed to get it up and running asap. I still have the pump so at some point I'll replace the motor and have it ready to swap out.

Like the electric truck mount, what water pump are you using?

I'm using the Pumptec 1200 psi Water Otter. I used one when I first built it and after a few years replaced it with a General Pump and electric motor. The General pump and electric motor combo worked fine but after the electric motor failed replaced them with smaller 500 psi Pumptec but the flow on it was way too small so for simplicity I just went back with another Pumptec Water Otter. Although the cost is a little higher for the Water Otter versus the General pump/electric motor combo, they are readily available, it's quick and easy to change them out if needed, and with only minimal maintenance they have been reliable.

What vacuum motor are you using on this electric truck mount? Is it still the two 3 stages

Yes. I'm still using 2 of the 116765-13 vac motors.

Yes it is. I use a little giant propane heater.
