Great video. Just copped one for myself and cant wait for it to come in the mail. Love this classic game and console. BTW have you tried playing this game with the N64 arcade stick? Would that enhance the controls a bit?
While no match for the PC version frankly this port turned out WAY better than it had any right to. Me and my brothers actually used to play the 1 v 1 split screen mode on the weekends.
I just bought it for my 64 collection for shits and giggles cause ive never been into rts games but I genuinely had fun with it and the controls arent half bad but the graphics look like the N64 ate Starcraft pc then puked it up
@@Chr0mePisto1a The value is the collectability and the fact you can highlight 18 units instead of 12 max. That and the workers auto mine which is a compromise between starcraft 1 and 2, in that you cant hotkey buildings, but the actual unit selection wasnt a total mess. I shouldnt have to literally use all my hotkeys to move my entire army. Thats just unacceptable and ruined the potential for SC1 online staying power. Just rebalance the game accordingly because zerg is mega OP, as its optimized for the fact you are only able to manipulate any given 12 units at one time PERIOD and they are inherently weaker. This is why blizzards 4k release to me is such a who cares situation when fans have released a free version in the SC2 engine which is worth revisiting especially if you wait another year or two for it to be fully polished. I bought the official blizzard rerelease but it was basically unplayable garbage online.
You should come back to it, dude there’s tons of people still playing a lot of people quit StarCraft two and are coming back to StarCraft remastered I play every night never do. I have to wait to play a game never more than a minute or two usually it’s instant StarCraft is very popular still popular. I mean it ain’t people playing that it used to be, but you never know. Monopoly video game. Come back to us.
