What happens when you go beyond the bad future and see the Metallic Madness in an post apocalyptic state, machines dead and decayed, robots rusted beyond repair, the traps and spikes and saw blades lay quiet and the lights barely flicker or spark.
Technically it is still very apocalyptic, the place is even more dangerous than before as any step could lead to you getting impaled on a saw or spikes. Since there are barely any lights, the place would be even deadlier and considering that the place will be extremely rusty, you could fall at any time. This is a true mechanic hell.
By the way the technology is likely still working. In all the bad futures no matter the state of the tech it all still works. I am sure that most if not all of the tech would work so your idea of the future would probably be thousands of years away which again by then so much would have happened and this place probably wouldn’t exist anymore
i doubt that would ever happen, as this would require the grand doctor to actually die with no other plans in place. it’s a guarantee that robotnik would either create clones or successors, or upload his mind and live forever.
