Oooh, I have learned so much from this tutorial series! Thank you so very much! You are a great teacher and it is so easy to listen to your pleasant voice!
At minute 17:10, I see where the basted stitch is centered, however, the actual design looks off center within the basted stitch and the hoop. What am I missing? I thought it was just the name that looked off-center, not the truck.
Is it possible to make a new object like adding a new layer in Adobe software? Let’s say I added my vector file which automatically transfers to an object. I want to create a separate object underneath this one. How do I do this? Or if that’s even possible?
....whelp that is not what I asked the search engine at all. It showed me everything but how to deleted individual points/stiches in a design. Do you have a video for that?
Deleting/editing individual stitches is a "Stitch Edit" feature of Enthusiast, not Essentials. We do not have a video for that, but maybe those terms will help you search.
Hello Thank you for this video. What if you only had a 4x4 hoop can we resize the truck? So that the design can fit it in a 4x4 hoop as well as adding a name under the truck.
Resizing is a feature of Essentials, but you do have to be careful when reducing the size of an applique design -- you don't want the satin stitches to get too narrow that they no longer adequately cover the fabric edges. Definitely test stitch before putting on a valuable blank! You may prefer to stitch the truck as is, then rehoop to stitch the name below.
Hi I am very new to machine embroidery and love the look of this system. Can I please ask, I am a little confused ( easily done lolol ) Can I make my own designs on whatever design package i use and do i then import my designs ( in Jpeg ) to this softwear and the softwear turns my design into an embroidery design, makes the stitches ect and then i download my now embroidery design onto my usb stick - then onto my embroidery machine and embroider as usual.
The process of taking an image (like JPG) and creating an embroidery design files is called digitizing. Embrilliance offers a program that has digitizing capability (StitchArtist) but it is not an automatic process. I would recommend searching for videos on StitchArtist to learn more. We do not have videos on StitchArtist; our videos are about how to use the embroidery design files we sell.
Question about centering the design and the basting stitch... When I save an item to my usb stick and send it from my computer to machine will it open off center even though I didn't save that way? I was a bit confused by that one part in the tutorial. Thank you for your help. I'm trying to decide if this the best purchase since my computer crashed this weekend. :(
I'm sorry, I am just now seeing your question! Embrilliance automatically saves a design to the center of the hoop, regardless where you have positioned it on your screen. So if you want to force a design to stay off center, you need a basting stitch around the design that is centered, then position the design within that rectangle wherever you want.
Hi there iam thinking about getting Embrillance for the key board function .I have numerous fonts purchased from digitizers and love the easy function using the keyboard . Can you tell me exactly what's needed to do this ? Thank you
We include BX installation files with all of our fonts. That is what is needed to make an embroidery font "typeable" in Embrilliance. Technically you don't need to purchase any component of Embrilliance to use our fonts, you can run Embrilliance in Express mode for free to create and save text designs. In order to resize text or combine text with design files as demonstrated in this video series, you would need to purchase Essentials.
No, Essentials is for editing existing embroidery design files that you would purchase from a designer. The process of taking an image like a JPG and creating a PES file based on that artwork is called digitizing. Within the Embrilliance platform the digitizing tools are a part of StitchArtist.
If you own Essentials, you can open design files in multiple machine formats (PES, DST, JEF, VIP, etc). BX installation files are generally used only with fonts since their purpose is to allow you to type and let Embrilliance merge all the letter designs for you. That feature is not needed for a single applique design.

What if I had a design with words and I want to delete or change one of the words?
Check out Part 4 in this video series - we cover how to separate items by using the stitch simulator feature.

I'm having trouble adding the font. When I click on the A to add a lettering object, that dialog box does not appear.
Go up to View > Toolbars and Windows and select "Reset Windows and Toolbars". Your properties window accidentally got closed.
