I also have many thousand army men toys in my room, I'm glad to see your OK! I sometimes go to 2nd hand shops to buy various army men toys if their in good condition. I just enjoy them like you do, it is nice to see that there are other men out there that appreciate army guys as much a I do. I also like retro games, but unfortunately I can't seem to find a replacement computer for my 1993 PC that my dad threw away when I was at school in 2001 when I was 12. I used to love playing all the old pixel games, I was heartbroken and he's never apologised in 22 years. The 90's was an awesome era, most the best games music came out between the 90's and very early 00's. Yeah I know it was more than 20 years ago the 90's ended, but I was happy then. Life after 2001 went down hill very very quickly. My teenage years were not very fun, when I should have been having the time of my life. ) ':
I also been buying and saving soldiers for a lot of years but not till I got older was I able to purchase all I wanted, and so as each load would be bought I would sit down and count them, separate them based on appearance, germain , american and so on . I have close to 50 thousand individual soldiers , in 20 gallon totes . Over the years , I have forgot that I had some of these so I began to take pictures and saved a lot on my computer. It's good to see that I am not alone with this .
Could you do a video on Airfix models? I do them from time to time and It's really fun. I have an American friend who like Airfix models too. What I love about you is you like army men based on real life armies! Most people when it comes to collecting figurines either collect start wars or other sci fi/ fantasy make belief collections. There are only a few Sci fi films I actually like, such as the old Star trek films, Tron and oldies like Logan's run and the forbidden planet. Most the time I go for films such as Kelly's heroes, Behind enemy lines, Arabesque and enemy at the gates. I do like AI though, it's all about robots, but not too fantasy based apart from being set in the future. I don't like the Harry Potter films though, too feel good and too made up! The only things I like from HP is the villains which I must admit are quite good, but the rest of HP is crap!!!! I also love Gremlins because it's creepy and dark, a good film to scare a kid with. he he!

I normally tell people that if I were to sell today, I’d probably ask between $10k-$15k. Now I haven’t invested that much myself I’ve gotten very lucky with some of my pieces but that would be what I’d estimate it at. A good chunk of what I have is available and still produced today as well.
Seeing as I can't join the British army because I'm Autistic, can I enlist in your plastic army? I would love to serve with your men, maybe I could bring my army with me? I'm saving up for a really big order of army men that's going to cost nearly £250 in total when you add in postage fees, but damn it, I want those soldiers! I also collect police and security figurines too, because some security guards are trained by the special forces, some of them are very skilled combatants in self defence and counter terror tactics too!!!!
I'll never stop loving these little plastic guys, they were my childhood and i still use them to play wargames.
