Fireworks are explosions of numerous small pellets of black powder called stars. The main ingredient in fireworks is black powder, which explodes when ignited (lit on fire). In addition to black powder, firework stars contain different chemicals or metals to create certain colors
Firecrackers are rolled paper tubes filled with black powder (also called gunpowder). They might also be filled with flash paper and a fuse. When you light the fuse of a firecracker, the fire burns along the fuse. Eventually, it reaches the powder.
Black Powder
Invented in ninth-century China, this mix of potassium nitrate, charcoal, and sulfur is what makes fireworks (plus guns and explosives), well, work. In a traditional firework, a lit fuse kicks off the reaction, igniting the powder in the bottom of the shell. As the potassium nitrate burns, it lets off oxygen. The O2 helps the charcoal and sulfur burn too, producing hot gases that hurl the firework into the sky. Seconds later, a delayed fuse reaches the center of the payload, igniting the main shell to unleash a spectacle of light and sound.

Lots of brands that we dont normally see! the trip here is definitely rough.
yes it was
You don't have to get here the way Kio went. That's a back road. You can just take U.S. 95. Nothing rough about it.
@@goldfieldfireworks7352 Nice! the good old back roads.
What a hike man. That was a drive
Yup
Kio took the "scenic route." We recommend just using U.S. 95.
Hey pyro when I was there in April I just cruised up the 95 from pahrump and that was a great ride. I believe this store is a classic mom and pop style of firework store that needs to be visited by anybody who love fireworks. There retail prices are the best in Nevada that I have seen and I visited every other store in April except phantom. If you stay until night they have a great shoot site with phenomenal echoes in an old gravel pit. Great walk through video
Thank you! We really enjoyed meeting you here in April. We hope you'll come over again sometime, and bring your family. You can make a mini-vacation out of it. There is a lot to see and a lot of exploring to do in this county.
Cool roads! I wanted to drive my Hellcat down there, but never mind. 😂😂
Go for it!
You're not gonna run outta gas brotha. Take that hell cat!
lol
There are gas pumps in Dyer, Nevada and gas stations in Big Pine, California.
Man Bobby still camera shy LoL. I don’t know if u knew this bout Bobby, He’s an author and wrote a book about Fireworks and the description of them. He also made videos of his travels to china to the fireworks factories. Great guy hopefully I can go see him in NV. Great vid brother ❤
Thanks
Just take U.S. 95 here, not the back roads.
😎👍
Damn they couldn't have built this place a little bit more north? I thought schurz was in the asscrack of nowhere, this place is an extra three hours.
We chose Esmeralda County because it's the only county in Nevada (and all the western states) where fireworks are legal to use all year long.
