I became a monbebe way after No. MERCY, so I was used to the way MX clung to and loved Changkyun so imagine my hurt and surprise when I finally saw No. MERCY. I can understand why they acted like they did though even though it doesn't excuse their behavior.
i feel you.... i started to stan Monsta X two years ago, during their Beautiful comeback, and the longer I was in this fandom, the more I heard about No Mercy but I refused to watch it cos a lot of Monbebes said the show was a heartbreaker so I never had the courage to watch the show. Only now I found the courage to watch it and it really broke my heart into pieces 💔 I was shocked at how they treated I.M back then, I'm so glad they are really close together now and I hope it stays that way

When I first entered high school there's this kind of "tradition" at my new school where the senior would scold and bully the freshmen. At that time I was so scared, I cried. It was one of the most embarassing moment in my life. Even though after that everything was fine and I went to highschool as usual. It still left scars in me. Those were the moments that I'd never want to remember or tell anyone about how I feel. I don't know if IM feel the same way. He may be fine. But if he were able to go back in time and repeat No Mercy... I... Have no idea.

i think the thing that gets me the most is the fact that even thought minhyuk hated him and said he never wanted to friends with him, now look at them. they are in a group together having the time of their lives. and shownu was always nice to him even if he did join No Mercy at the wrong time.
This is what i hated most about No.Mercy. They brought in someone new straight after someone else got eliminated and didn’t even warn anyone else. So when that episode aired people started rumours that he’d payed his way in when theres no way in hell that happened because he was just in a group that had failed to debut because their company had folded and therefore he had no money to buy food let alone pay his way onto a survival show. But those rumours got back to the others and they believed them. Their judgment was brought on by surprise and falsities, and their hate was born not from anger but from hurt at the elimination of one of their friends. He was something to release that out on because he was new and unfamiliar and that doesn’t make it right but it explains why they were able to warm up to him so quickly after he became a part of Monsta X
Watching this makes me feel so warm inside. What happened during No Mercy was really cruel and sad and it really broke my heart watching Changkyun deal with all the hate amd criticism at that time. BUT now Changkyun is loved by his hyungs (as we can see). He is literlly everyones baby. He may seem cold outside but I know it really makes him happy knowing that he have 6 older brothers who he can rely on. We need to protect these boys at all cost. I just love them so much.

I sometimes go watch IM's clip of NoMercy. I know most of us want to erase it but NoMercy era was what defined Changkyun as not just a survivor but a fighter and ultimately a champion.... He won when his chances of loosing was very high... He fought not just the competition but also isolation and depression. And I find that truly inspiring. He became a role model even before becoming an idol...
That happy moment of Wonho when Changkyun choose him! My baby did suffered a lot. But still he is our precious maknae~ Hyungs fav maknae~ the cool maknae!
I really hate watching that hurtful clip from No Mercy but I understand why they reacted like that. But they joined I.M at the very wrong timing.They felt unfair because he joined after their friend got eliminated and it was almost the end of the show. They were all expecting to have the final line up from the original trainees/contestants. I think because they knew something is going on although I.M honestly said he didn't know and he was just told to join but if I were them, I would also feel unfair. I mean, we were imagining about performing on stage together and you suddenly showed up. They felt they all have a higher chance to debut now that the number of trainees decreased but another one was added. Also, I.M just became a starship trainee that time, months, though he already trained years from another company and almost debuted, he was just a rookie starship trainee at that time and as co-trainee who have been there for years, they would really feel unfair. Everyone undergoes with that feeling tho, they were all desperate to debut. You can't judge them, especially their relationship. They just showed their real feelings that time. It was a survival show, they can't help but feel angry or what. But what I thought that time, maybe because some of the unchosen trainees didn't fit to the group the company imagined. They see something in I.M that would perfectly fit as a member. Also, his rap style didn't compete with Jooheon's because their styles are very different. It compliments each other actually, a strong and a mild/soft style. Look at him now, he is always showered with love by MONBEBEs and his hyungs. They adore him every single time. I'm still thankful, though it's really a painful beginning, I'm still thankful they chose I.M, he's the perfect maknae for Monsta X.
The one who got eliminated before IM came in was a rapper right? I often wonder if no mercy would have brought in a new trainee at the last moment if a vocal had got eliminated.

And i think they've already planned how many rappers they will get, Jooheon is the most expected member to join the group and he's a rapper so what they did is find a rapper than would compliment with his strong rap

I'm a new Monbebe.I found this group 1 month ago through a variety show. I love this group and I never watch No Mercy before. However, reading all the comments, I don't want to watch No Mercy. I don't like watching people sad...especially IM. I accept Monsta X as what they are today and I wish them best of luck , stay happy , healthy and wish them to achieve more success in the future.

I had already love Monsta X before I knew about no mercy. I have been avoiding whenever I heard " survival show" of kpop. It is always heart breaking and no mercy was so raw like that. I could just watch a little bit of the show when I.M first met them and that's all. Anyway, they're a group now and I'm happy to have them in my life.

I loved no mercy the judges did a great job picking this team. I was a fan of monsta x the. I watched no mercy in that order. I'm glad they brought I.M in late it shows how the team dealt with adversity because no matter what they pulled together to be a team and realize their dream. They took the coaching to heart when the judges told them that now the work begins you gotta work together. Great show great team. Btw the other contestants weren't bad but they really weren't right for this team.
Finally got the subtitles to those brutal scenes. Minhyuk didnt surprise me but seeing Shownu, Joohoney being like that to him cut me deep. Ofcourse its all in the past and honestly it was nobody's fault.. Can't blame them for hating the new guy BUT IT HURTS BECAUSE I LOVE MONSTA X AHHHH😭😭😭

i think the thing that gets me the most is the fact that even thought minhyuk hated him and said he never wanted to friends with him, now look at them. they are in a group together having the time of their lives. and shownu was always nice to him even if he did join No Mercy at the wrong time.
This is what i hated most about No.Mercy. They brought in someone new straight after someone else got eliminated and didn’t even warn anyone else. So when that episode aired people started rumours that he’d payed his way in when theres no way in hell that happened because he was just in a group that had failed to debut because their company had folded and therefore he had no money to buy food let alone pay his way onto a survival show. But those rumours got back to the others and they believed them. Their judgment was brought on by surprise and falsities, and their hate was born not from anger but from hurt at the elimination of one of their friends. He was something to release that out on because he was new and unfamiliar and that doesn’t make it right but it explains why they were able to warm up to him so quickly after he became a part of Monsta X

Watching this makes me feel so warm inside. What happened during No Mercy was really cruel and sad and it really broke my heart watching Changkyun deal with all the hate amd criticism at that time. BUT now Changkyun is loved by his hyungs (as we can see). He is literlly everyones baby. He may seem cold outside but I know it really makes him happy knowing that he have 6 older brothers who he can rely on. We need to protect these boys at all cost. I just love them so much.
No matter how many times I watch this no mercy era my eyes always fills with tears. How they treated changkyunie, how much my boy suffered just watching it, is torturous for us 😭

I sometimes go watch IM's clip of NoMercy. I know most of us want to erase it but NoMercy era was what defined Changkyun as not just a survivor but a fighter and ultimately a champion.... He won when his chances of loosing was very high... He fought not just the competition but also isolation and depression. And I find that truly inspiring. He became a role model even before becoming an idol...

I love Monsta x.. from the beginning they were just being real.. they never fake feelings.. and so forgiving 💙
I really hate watching that hurtful clip from No Mercy but I understand why they reacted like that. But they joined I.M at the very wrong timing.They felt unfair because he joined after their friend got eliminated and it was almost the end of the show. They were all expecting to have the final line up from the original trainees/contestants. I think because they knew something is going on although I.M honestly said he didn't know and he was just told to join but if I were them, I would also feel unfair. I mean, we were imagining about performing on stage together and you suddenly showed up. They felt they all have a higher chance to debut now that the number of trainees decreased but another one was added. Also, I.M just became a starship trainee that time, months, though he already trained years from another company and almost debuted, he was just a rookie starship trainee at that time and as co-trainee who have been there for years, they would really feel unfair. Everyone undergoes with that feeling tho, they were all desperate to debut. You can't judge them, especially their relationship. They just showed their real feelings that time. It was a survival show, they can't help but feel angry or what.
But what I thought that time, maybe because some of the unchosen trainees didn't fit to the group the company imagined. They see something in I.M that would perfectly fit as a member. Also, his rap style didn't compete with Jooheon's because their styles are very different. It compliments each other actually, a strong and a mild/soft style. Look at him now, he is always showered with love by MONBEBEs and his hyungs. They adore him every single time. I'm still thankful, though it's really a painful beginning, I'm still thankful they chose I.M, he's the perfect maknae for Monsta X.
The one who got eliminated before IM came in was a rapper right? I often wonder if no mercy would have brought in a new trainee at the last moment if a vocal had got eliminated.
@@RSr-uo9dl I think it's more hard to choose the right vocalists that would compliment each other so they stayed most of the vocalists until the end so they could choose wisely. And i think they've already planned how many rappers they will get, Jooheon is the most expected member to join the group and he's a rapper so what they did is find a rapper than would compliment with his strong rap

Their skills need to mix and match each other instead of clashing and competing with each other... Honestly, I don't understand Korean but when I hear IM and Jooheon rap, it sound like they are communicating with each other as friends/brothers/comrades instead of clashing and its really surprising considering how different they are....

I'm a new Monbebe.I found this group 1 month ago through a variety show. I love this group and I never watch No Mercy before. However, reading all the comments, I don't want to watch No Mercy. I don't like watching people sad...especially IM. I accept Monsta X as what they are today and I wish them best of luck , stay happy , healthy and wish them to achieve more success in the future.

I had already love Monsta X before I knew about no mercy. I have been avoiding whenever I heard " survival show" of kpop. It is always heart breaking and no mercy was so raw like that. I could just watch a little bit of the show when I.M first met them and that's all. Anyway, they're a group now and I'm happy to have them in my life.

I know i’ll cry in this kind of videos but still i watched it. I dont want to remember what happened during No Mercy. But i think it made IM strong. They hated him and dont want to be friends with him but look at them now. I watched right now if im not mistaken where Shownu and Im were so awkward with each other. Wonho and Im didnt eat together alone before. Minhyuk and Jooheon said they dont want to be friends with him. Kihyun said he dont like him and same as Hyungwon. But now, look at them. Look how they cling on him. Look how they show affection towards him. Look how they treat their maknae. I loved no mercy the judges did a great job picking this team. I was a fan of monsta x the. I watched no mercy in that order. I'm glad they brought I.M in late it shows how the team dealt with adversity because no matter what they pulled together to be a team and realize their dream. They took the coaching to heart when the judges told them that now the work begins you gotta work together. Great show great team. Btw the other contestants weren't bad but they really weren't right for this team.
