Desperate for more so went back a year, very much enjoyed it too. Paul, what's the biggest mullet you have ever seen while fishing ? If I may ask. There used to be a whale of a mullet living under the old wooden pier opposite n left of where you are on the plym there. Couldn't catch him fir toffees cos I think they grow cleverer in their older years.

Awesome cheers Rob! I guess I’m old school and some of the places I fish require mono yuki 3G invisible mainline and trace The other disadvantage with braid in my honest opinion is that it floats and sings in the tide more than mono, Ime old school bro 😎 mono for mullet but braid for bass 😳😳😳💪🤣
Nice fishing mate, I've caught small flatties with bait on my braid loaded reels and the difference to mono is night n day but i understand why it's more of a no no for mullet. Also a friend used to catch a few mullet by the sea wall and said when he hooked one the other fish in the shoal would all swim up to the hooked fish, have you ever seen this happen?
Hi mate interesting video ,I myself use one braided green line 15lb with seagaur fxr 6kg /21mm fluro about 10ft leader for float fishing at night,braid fished with a mono leader works very well the braid you can hook up much faster,I’ve a 2rd rod I bring for dawn fishing close in with fluro ,I lost a lot of fish ledger fishing with braid myself.both have pros and cons tightlines 😎🐟

@@bassmansbountyfishing it’s funny your trying the braid for them also I’ve been trying to work this out myself most this season ,for sure braid is good for bass,yeah I also think for ledger mono ,I got one of my 6lbs on braid ledger and the hook just came out in the net so I think I was very lucky with that one,I’ve lost way too many ledger this year so Iam back to mono for that..float fishing at distance definitely braid and low drag set I’ll be sticking with.great topic ,love your mullet videos, look forward to your next video tightlines.😎🐟

I use braid alot on the mullet where snaggy etc. Love it tbh as long as similar colour to Daiwa sensor mono.

Seen it with many species including wrasse bass trigger fish and but never mullet they spook the shoal in my humble opinion 😎👍
