Around 19:10, could your opponent discard and reanimate your balustrade spy to mill you and win in your draw step? EDIT: Nevermind, you just mentioned it 10 seconds later :)
How poorly this deck draws, Jesus. Also, I know you have to be aggressive with mulligans in these kind of decks; but you shipped 4 card hands that were missing a piece, I thinks it's better to bet on one of those than on a 3 card hand.
I have some experience piloting oops in the last year and I feel strongly I want to pack Beseech the Mirror to smooth out the numbers. I just don't see the justification for not playing it. I'm sure I need to go actually study the oops discord for the lore why beseech isn't the mainline option but.... I like it.
Also, no you want to aggressively mulligan. I think it was TES who turned me onto doing this with OOPS but you HAVE to mulligan until you have at least 1 wincon in hand. This definitely includes milling to 3. The thing with this deck is it wins or it doesn't. Sometimes you will lose to the mulligan boss and that is a ugly reality of running this build. I like it because it allows me to grind out league in an hour instead of several hours. But it's not a playstyle everyone likes. .... ironically this is like hitting on a 14 if the dealer doesn't have a 6 exposed: it feels wrong but the math supposedly backs doing it.
@@crucible_of_words Idk I may be spicy and gettison the culling the weak package for the beseeches/unmasks. You can put reanimator or reanimator sideboard pivots in the sideboard of this deck. It doesn't have to rely on charbelcher to win anymore. Chain of smog package pivot would protect you from graveyard hate, orcish bowmasters, and likely pithing needle interactions your opponent may attempt Hmmmm.... may have to give this a spin for fun.
@@AArdW01f Some interesting ideas there. I don't like Beseech that much as we can't reliably bargain it like the other decks that run it. But you could swap to a build with mox opals and 0 drop critters to make Culling better and give you bargain outs
When i saw they printed the black two sided lands i knew this was coming. I may make this my main for a bit.
I'm not sure it came up this league, but entomb for narcomoeba is another way to turn on culling the weak, which makes it slightly more consistent.
I may well have missed an opportunity with that
I love all spell my first legacy deck

Then proceeds to do it himself in the next round. was pretty sweet!

You are probably right. I don't have a lot of reps with the deck to intuit which hands can get there when things are going badly with the mulls
